►Wrap ►Leer ►Poison Sting ► Marcu’s journey to the gym had consisted of fast walking and sneezing until he saw the building. Rubbing at his eyes to get the itchiness out of them ( they had started tearing halfway to the gym) He walked into the gym still rubbing at his eyes. He realized he should release his pokemon and did so, Valiant loafed in one of the benches, while ducklett and squeeze stayed with Marcus. Marcus for his part knew that Gym was for his pokemon too but wasn’t much sure what a Slakoth could do. He hoped Ms. Annesse would understand. “Mornin Ms. Annesse” he said smiling at the pokemon. He loved the Gym teacher’s pokemon, specially the Lopunny. Marcus wasn’t sure why he liked the pokemon so much, he just thought it was cool that the pokemon was so fast and string even though it was also adorable. His eyes ( despite the itchiness and irritability caused by the pollen ) lit up when he saw the basketball hoops set up. “Aww sweet are we playin basketball?” Marcus’ mind instantly went to Eli and their first game together. Most of the people he had met that day had fallen off the rader but some ( like Eli, Evy, and Ray,) were still there. Maybe he could play with them? Or...well, he could play with Eli and Ray and talk to Evy about Pokemon while he did so. Where were they anyways?
Phillip for his part had wandered off, in the direction of Iris and more specifically her pokemon. The ducklett hadn’t seen any other pokemon like him since Marcus had caught it and so was intrigued by Ling. Waddling up to her and the humans around her he gave them a “lett” waving one wing.

The morning greeting provided by the grinning green haired lass had taken Jung by surprise especially the unexpected approach. The only ever 'normal' small talk this lad had ever had was "G-Good m-morning Miss..." He repeated his eyes remaining planted on the ground. It was one thing to start a conversation but to look at them while talking would send him into a sweating frenzy and he thought he was weird enough already. It was as if he had forgotten how to converse like he did with Tera. Although... That pink haired lass was miles pushier in his mind so perhaps her conversation manners were not of the norm? There wasn't enough personal data to go by at this point. "I... I-I'm g-g-g-g-good... You?" Asking about her was of the norm, yes? It wasn't too weird? Brown eyes swam across the room as he continued stretching. This was going to be a long, awkward class... And it didn't help that another Ducklett Pokemon had greeted them which(was there any doubt?) taken the lad by surprise.
The Chingling's celebration was cut short by that haughty bird Pokemon that was Ling! His defeat wasn't taken well by him as he was not over it yet and the smug look on her features sent the bell in a tizzy. He could not see that he was getting his just desserts. "Ching-" He stopped himself. As much as the chime wanted to act he had to play nice with them so as not to embarrass his trainer. It would not have mattered much if he did any type of retort as the blue bird had indeed one up him. Observing the other Pokemon, the fox, was a more pleasant company though that look in her eye would strangely have sent a chill down his spine if the bell had one. "Ching! Chingling!" Restarting to speak, the Chingling had begrudging yet properly greeted the two before him and had proposed a future battle and perhaps a best two out of three to determine the true winning. My, was C a sore loser...

Ava was quick to get to her gym class and change into the uniform. There was never a disappointing day in this class. From basketball to dodgeball, Ava was totally excited for all of it. She entered the gymnasium with Fritz on her shoulder and Gala on her back. The two bugs, in the habit now that they had some gym classes under their belts, started their stretches on either side of Ava, who also stretched.
The girl kept a careful eye on Fritz. She was always a little worried that someone would accidentally step on him during this class. It had yet to happen, but it was something she knew she needed to be careful of until he evolved, whenever that would be. Gala was big enough to be seen (and even then, some kids would put as much space between Ava's cute, green spider and themselves as physically possible.) She was a little too busy watching over her tiny pokemon to try and start a conversation with her classmates.

Koru eventually led him to the outside of the gym. The redness of his face did not quite fade as he got his hand back, but he tried to ignore it. He taped one of the few flyers he had to the front door to the gym and looked to Koru. "I'm, uh, going to put the other one by the boy's locker room door. I'll meet you inside." With a small wave, he made his way to the locker room, taping the flyer to the door before going inside to change. This morning had been a whirlwind already. He had half of the members he needed to make this club official, and maybe he'd get one more before the end of the day without having to ask random classmates to join!
Once he was changed, Nirav led his pokemon out into the gym, where he could see some classmates and pokemon stretching. He got in line with the others and led his pokemon in doing some stretches. It looked like today would be a basketball day. It could be a lot worse, but gym class was still the bane of his existence. Maybe his teammates would just not pass the ball to him. That would be the best, he imagined. But for now, he did as the others did.

Tera walked into the gymnasium with a spring in her step. Her current grogginess didn't stop her from feeling excited as she was looking forward to whatever Ms. Annesse had in store for class. Like her usual, the Charizard house girl's attire was a little on the dirty side with some dark dirt smudges on her bright, Charizard-colored gym uniform; not too surprising given that she didn't make a stop to the dorms to change her clothes before coming to class. Picking off the few leaves of her Pokemon and her hair, the girl started scanning the room, taking notice of the students and the teacher present. Most students she knew seemed to be in groups already, but with her being a little on the sick side and not wanting her friends to get sick because of her, the girl thought it'd be best to wait it out a bit, at least until the class started. Speaking of which! She felt a wave of relief as it seemed as the class hadn't started yet, making her feel a little less regretful that she had to cut her Pokemon scanning hunt/photography sessions short.
"'Kay guys! Time to get some stretchin' in! Don' wanna pull somethin' durin' class!" Tera said with a bit of a sniffle and a little frog in her throat, focusing her full attention on her Pokemon. Her Natu and Charmander simultaneously looked at each other before worriedly looking at their trainer. Even though her usual energy was there, she sounded a little off, like something was wrong. She also seemed strangely dazed and out of it when she woke up this morning too... Maybe they were overthinking it? Putting that idea in the back burner, the two began to follow Tera's stretching exercises with every position change she did.

Excited○Gym ○Sorry for such a crappy post I'm trying to get back in the swing of things after recent events...
Eli jogged to gym ready for whatever would happen. Being back on campus had him so full of energy he was ready to play three sports at once! His other classes were interesting but gym was pretty fun, especially if he got his hands on a basketball. Thinking about it reminded him that he needed to switch his glasses out for his sports glasses. They were like swimming goggles mixed with lab goggles mixed with glasses, at least he felt cool wearing them. It was like he was the main character in a cartoon, the main character always had goggles or cool gear. He put his glasses in the case and slipped it back into his gym bag and stopped at the door. He opened it and was surprised not seeing many people there yet. His sights quickly fell on Marcus, one of his best friends, but they slowly shifted seeing the teacher with basketballs. He started cheering in his head, ’YES YES YES! I knew it!’
He started jogging over to Marcus, slowing his pace as he went by Ms. Annesse,"Morning Ms. Annesse!" he stopped and waved to Marcus then his excitement couldn’t hide,"Hey! Did you see the basketballs maybe we’ll get to play today! If we do, want to be on the same team?" Even though he would love to play the game with Marcus as teammates, playing against each other might be more interesting. He crossed his arms and grinned, pushing the edges of his glasses up slightly,"Unless you wanna try and face me?" Waiting on his friend to answer neither boys noticed Phillip, Marcus’s Ducklett walking away from them. Eli finally caught a glimpse of the little duck pokemon greeting Iris Haruno’s Ducklett. Eli pointed behind Marcus,"I think Ling made a new friend."

Koru's excitement took her and Nirav all the way to the gym. At least they wouldn't be late right? She let go of Nirav and ran back to one of the last pillars of the academic building and put two up around it. She didn't want them to be hard to miss plus when everyone leaves gym they'd see it...maybe! She rushed back to Nirav's side and he had put on the gym door. She gave him a thumbs up,"This is great! It'll be hard for anyone to miss these when class lets out today!" She was so excited about helping out she had not noticed Nirav's reddened face. He told her he would post some by the boys locker room and for a moment she almost went with him. She walked into the gym with him laughing embarrassed,"O-oh okay yeah! Sorry almost forgot I can't go in there!" They separated and Koru went over to the other students. She was glad to see Ms Annesse there she felt like there have been too many subs recently. With Nirav no longer at her side she started thinking to herself who would like to join his club. Sewing is a useful, and fun by the look of her sister, skill to have so it was all about who it would appeal to. She plopped her bag on the bleachers and released Cyndaquil.
Cyndaquil stretched his small arms and yelped to get Koru's attention, "Cynda quil?" She stretched her arms up and put the flyers by her bag,"Hey buddy we better do some stretches before class starts, like Tera over there," waved hi towards Tera. Koru put a note in her head that Tera might like to join the club. Though she was a lot like herself so maybe a 50/50 chance? She sat on the floor and stretched in a forward lean on the floor. Cyndaquil watched her and plopped down and bent over to do the same, but his short arms reached the floor to quick and he ended up falling over on his belly, "Quil!" She gave the little guy a grin and giggled,"Aw it's okay you're doing great!"Cyndaquil just felt like laying there while his trainer just went on with her exercises. He looked around at the other people. He started to feel paranoid that someone would step on him. He curled up into a ball and curled closer to Koru's side. At least next to her he wouldn't be squished. He rested his mind but his sight set on a Spinarak across the floor. Seeing it's red pincers and sharp horn sent a shiver up his spine. Koru bent back and saw him, it looked like he had seen a ghost. She trailed his sight back to the Spinarak and not only that but Ava,"There's no need to be scared it's just Ava's Spinarak remember? She got him on Spirit Day-" she caused a shiver of her own even remembering that festival...

Riko jogged to the gym. She pushed open the large doors and entered the large area. There were many students already there, in their uniforms. She checked the clock. She was still good. "Alright, let's go." She walked pasted the students and made her way to the girls' locker room, with her clothes in her bag. Setting Snivy on a bench, Riko pushed open a stall and began to change into her gym uniform. She tucked her school uniform in her bag and unlocked the stall and made her way out, where Snivy was waiting for her. Shoving her bag and all her items into her gym locker, she made her way to the mirror. "Hmm... should we keep the braid or put it into a ponytail? What do you think Snivy?" she turned around for Snivy to see. Snivy held up one finger, which meant to keep the braid. Riko smiled. "Braid it is then."
She made her way out of the locker room and looked around. Students and their Pokemon were interacting with one another, and for some reason, Riko felt quite uneasy. She wasn't sure where her friends were, and usually she would have no problem with making new ones, but she wasn't sure if that was the best idea. Well, on the bright side, it is PE, one of her strongest and favorite subjects.
Marco entered the gymnasium from the boy's locker room once he finished changing into his uniform. Today was gym class and they would be running around and doing exercises which Marco wasn't all that thrilled about. He didn't dislike gym class, but it also wasn't his favorite class in the world. They sometimes did some really fun activities and having only one class for the day was nice. The students' pokemon often joined in gym class and seeing all the pokemon running around was pretty cool. Charmander and Murkrow seemed to always enjoy the class, even now they were stretching to prepare themselves for the class's activity. Marco looked back at his Pokemon seeing how much more excited they were about the class than he was. He smiled at them and got ready to join them in the exercise when his eyes spotted pink-hair. "Tera?" Marco said as he approached his friend who was also stretching to get ready for class. Seeing her had instantly brought a smile to his face, she just had this way of making him feel happy whenever he saw her. However, he noticed that something was different about her and he couldn't quite put his finger on what. He walked around her trying to examine her features from every angle that he could. He finally stopped moving and stood in front of her with a thoughtful look. "Are you okay?"
Charmander and Murkrow joined them with the fire Pokemon rushing to see Flare. The fire lizard circled around the female Charmander, similarly to how Marco had moved around Tera, and he stopped in front of her with a big smile. "Char," he was telling her that he was very happy to see her and that his day was instantly better from her being here. Murkrow stared at the psychic bird Pokemon whose whole body seemed to be his head. He approached the bird cautiously, but with curiosity as well since he didn't often get to see bird Pokemon like himself. Murkrow faced the Natu and waited to see what he would do.

Elena was so happy to see so many students coming in on time for class! Once she noticed the clock was at class-start-time, she nodded to Rhonda who went and closed the doors to the gym, leaving them unlocked but knowing they'd be making noise to alert her to any tardy students. Once the doors were closed, she stepped over to the class. Good moooooorning everyone! Please gather and line up in this court over here! She directed everyone to one of the several small basketball courts in the gym, more specifically the center court and waited for everyone to line up before speaking again. I'm so glad to see so many of you here and ready for class! I do hope you'll all enjoy this one today!
She nodded over to Plushie who opened the rolling tote and pulled out two basketballs. Today we have some basketball ready for you! After you do stretches, warm up with a couple laps around the gym then go ahead and play some basketball! Just remember to not throw the ball at anyone please... And if you want your little ones to have some exercise, Plushie and Rhonda would be more than happy to help them out! If you have a pokemon able to join you in basketball, remember that pokemon moves are not allowed while you play. After all, this is a class to get you all some exercise! She smiled bright before blowing on her whistle to begin the class assignment: more exercise and activity!

Kirsi had gotten a hug from Mr.Bennet before leaving for gym, and now she felt a little bit better. Maybe once she thought she could talk without crying she would see if he didn't mind listening... For now, she changed into her gym clothes. Even though she didn't want to be late, she couldn't seem to care to do it very fast. Since the doors were closed when she got there, she guessed that meant she was late. Even though they were noisy when they opened, Kirsi thought it was better to have an excuse not to talk to anybody. She just got right to jogging the warm-up laps slowly, flanked by two growlithes, one real the other fake. She distracted herself by trying to look at their movements and learn to tell the difference between the disguised Kai and Chance. Kai was really good at mimicking Chance, so it was hard even for Kirsi to tell.
Since she had missed stretches, Kirsi went to the side and did them for a bit, glad it gave her an excuse to not really move. It didn't last long though, so she just ended up taking a basketball and dribbling it a little. Sometimes she would toss it forward and Chance would bring it back to her. After the first time where Kai didn't go after it, Kirsi attempted to convince him to try to beat Chance but Kai wasn't very interested.

As Ava was finishing her stretches, the teacher, Ms. Annesse said that the class will be playing some basketball after doing some laps. Ava grinned, eager to get started. She scooped up Fritz and started doing some laps around the large gym. Gala was deemed by Ava to be large and noticeable enough to run on the floor with everyone else. Fritz, however, was a little hard to see along the gym floor. So while Ava ran around the gym, Fritz scuttled around her stomach to get some exercise.
After a couple of laps, Ava was ready to play some basketball. She looked to her pokemon; it didn't seem like they could play with the ball. Fritz would get squished and Gala couldn't hold onto the ball. Ava looked around, noticing Kirsi playing with her pokemon. Ava walked over to her with a smile, Fritz on her shoulder and Gala now climbing onto her head. "Hey, mind if I join you? Fritz and Gala aren't super great for basketball..." Chance and the other pokemon didn't seem too well suited either, but at least they could bring the ball back to Kirsi.

As Nirav half-heartedly did his stretches, he thought to his club. Who would join him and Koru in the Ordell Sewing Club? Would anyone message him? Or would he have to find people in person? The voice of his teacher pulled him from his thoughts. She explained that after some laps, they'd all be playing basketball. The boy softly sighed, not much for gym as a whole.
Nirav did his laps slowly, doing so in order to play as little basketball as possible. It couldn't be avoided, however, as the boy could run only so many laps. Raja kept up with his little jog, and Kumo floated behind slowly. Nirav had never seen that pokemon move too quickly. Even when he was leading them to Silvano, he wasn't too quick on his feet (or, too quick on his... air?) He ended up taking a basketball and dribbling it to himself. He would gently pass it towards Raja, who would nudge and roll it back to the boy. Kumo tried to blow air at the ball to make it move, but it didn't seem to be doing much of anything just yet.

Kirsi was watching Chance jump after the bouncing basketball when Ava approached. "Ah, A-ava, hi. No that's okay." When Chance managed to herd the ball back, tail wagging, he whuffed hello at Ava. He had forgotten about how he scared Fritz, but he was more interested in the ball at the moment. "Umm...do you wanna pass it back and forth?" Kirsi picked the ball up, assuming Ava wouldn't be too interested in just playing fetch with Chance.
Suddenly Kirsi felt a weight thump onto her shoulder, and when she turned her head she was met with the beady eyes of a spinarak. "Wah!" Kirsi pushed the ball out at Ava and stumbled back, using her hands to whack at the bug. She wasn't particularly bothered by them, but when one suddenly appeared so close. Kirsi gripped it in her hands and was about to let it fly when she realized she was holding a little black fox at arms length. "K-kai." The little fox must have changed illusions mid-air and jumped on her shoulder. Kirsi sighed and turned him around in her hands to face Ava. "This is Kai. I found him in the haunted house." With everything that had happened, Kirsi had forgotten about Spirits Day. Now she remembered the house, and finding Kai, and the letter and lock. She wished she could go back to that night, when everything had been fine and Rina was still alive, as far as she knew.

Despite Ms. Annesse not answering or noticing his greeting/question, Marcus basically jumped up and punched the sky when the teacher said they'd be playing basketball, making a yes gesture. "We're playin basketball~" he sang under his breath before turning around and catching sight of Tera, he was about to say hi before Eli caught him. "ey Eli" he said before a sniffle interrupted him."sure we can be on the same team..did you know we had homework for Sci and Tech?" When Elijah started talkin about facing each other Marcus couldn't help but grin and smirk a bit "hey I almost got you last game remember?" he shot back before Ms. Annesse called everyone to the center and confirmed that yes, they would be playing basketball. "Hoop there it is!" he said cheerily to Elijah setting up his hand for a high five. "here's your chance." He wondered if Elijah would get the reference. If not maybe they could have a movie night and Marcus would be more than happy to introduce him to Space Jam. "Wait who's Ling?" As people started doing laps Marcus went along too making sure he kept Elijah with him, sniffing every now and then. Spotting Tera he waved a hand in greeting. "Hey Tera, we're playin basketball if y'all wanna join did you do the-pikachoo-" lowering his sleeve from where he had used it to cover his face to sneeze Marcus gave an annoyed grunt and sniffled again "-uh-the-sniff-forest thingimabob for Science and Tech?" Marcus figured since he was so behind in the homework, maybe Tera could give him some pointers.
