Sherlock in the meantime, was focused. His nose, like countless times before was to the ground sniffing out the scent he’d become familiar with from their past adventures in searching. Of course, unlike his trainer, he was hardly concerned where the scent led them other than that it led them to what they were looking for. And he was certain that was the case in this situation as well. He led the way towards the outskirts, looking like he was nearly about to disappear into the grass before taking a sharp corner and leading his trainer in the direction along a line that would’ve marked the boundaries of the town.

The sharp turn surprised Noel. Frowning some as he had to stop and turn himself, he quickly skipped after the quick moving pokemon. Algernon, who was still tucked in his shirt, clung tightly to keep from being jostled too much, gaze narrowing at the back of the Lilipup for his sudden directional change. What exactly was he doing? Did he really have the scent or was this a bit of a wild goose chase? Eventually it proved itself as they stumbled upon another egg, hidden precisely at the back corner of one of the buildings, an area they wouldn’t have been able to reach had they not followed the exact path Sherlock had taken them on. Suddenly things made sense. Noel retrieved the egg and sent it off before retracing there steps back to the rider pokemon. Well, it was good to know that they might expect some odd searching from here on out.

Tay's energy seemed everlasting. Running about the town this way and that, but just about 9 o'clock the teen started to slow down, yawning as she walked. "You must be exhausted?" Avikna inquired. She had taken Tay out from that school around noon, and they'd covered the span of Alola in what seemed like a few hours. Tay looked up at Avikna. There was no hiding the exhaustion in her eyes. "let's get a room for the night." The teen grumbled, but followed after Avikna regardless. Within a few minutes they were in a small single-bed room. Tay hadn't even gotten undressed before she fell face first into the bed and passed out. She was far more tired that she'd been leading on. Tucking in the brunette, Avikna quickly went to work getting food for their Pokemon, and rested herself down for the night.

Waking up with the morning light was easy for Avikna. She'd slept like a rock for the most part, but managed still to be awake at dawn. Sitting at the edge of the bed while Tay continued to sleep, Avikna worked through her bag trying to find anything that might be of use to the teen. In fact she had plenty of Tm's to spare. Her team was already set pretty much move-wise, and none of the Tm's she had were in her younger dragons' favor. Using the Tm's on the Pokemon, she then got up and went to fetch some breakfast for everyone when the whole gang had woken up.

When Avikna returned, Tay was still fast asleep. She must have been hard to wake up in the mornings for that school. Or rather, she was comfortable enough to continue sleeping on through the morning. Setting the food down on the table resting within the room, she served the Pokemon first. Waking Tay from her slumber, the red-head motioned with her thumb towards food. The girl's stomach won over more sleep and quickly she shuffled over to the food. After eating, Tay's energy had returned, and she quickly got dressed and they were soon back on the streets of Aquacorde. Not much long after they finally found their 9th egg. "We're off to South Lumiose now." Avikna mentioned as they got onto Mave's back. "You'll like this place, Tay. It's a huge city. Far bigger than Fuchsia." Tay nodded with eyes wide with excitement.

Name established, Bass hopped dedicatedly beside his trainer as they continued their search for... whatever it was he and his sister had been discussing on their way over here. He wasn't too sure why they'd backtracked to this town, but it was obvious they had a reason here. "Oi!" Both turned their head when a stranger called out, Lysander taking a moment to check that they were the ones being addressed. "You need something?" he demanded with an eyebrow raised, stopping in his tracks so that he could give his full attention to the young boy directly to the left of him.
With hair as wild as his clothes were disheveled, Lysander wasn't quite sure if he should just keep walking or prepare for an attack, but considering the kid's apparent age he didn't want to immediately strike out; not yet at least. While Lysander was participating in his first battle, Heather was busy at work trying to locate their first egg. Having recruited both Cadenza and Tina in her efforts, the teenager figured that, with three pairs of eyes all searching for the same item, they'd have a much easier time in locating the single Easter egg they needed. Five minutes slowly ticked away with the trio looking, dedicatedly, for their egg. In that time Heather had managed to break out into song, voice kept soft so as not to disturb any people they might've passed. Subtly drawing in another breath, Heather was preparing to start on the chorus of her song when she spotted a brightly colored object nestled in a sea of green; clearly whatever the item was, it didn't belong. With building excitement she walked closer, then emitted a triumphant cry as she came across an egg, the sound attracting her pokemon to her. "Lookit guys, we found it!" Brandishing their egg proudly, Heather allowed her two pokemon a chance to take it into their own hands and look it over while she dug out her communicator to dial up her brother.
In another part of the town Lysander felt his communicator begin to buzz, and while gently clipping a pokeball back in place he answered, all the while ignoring the indignant shouts of the young boy adjacent to him. "You found the egg already?" he started. "Uh-huh~ It was a snap! It didn't take me too long to find it, if the other eggs are as easy to find as this one we'll finish this event in no time!" Heather gushed. Her brother gave a soft laugh, though the merriment in his voice failed to reach his eyes, and pulled his communicator far enough back to check the time. "I'll be a few minutes. So go on ahead, I'll meet you in front of the forest." There was a pause on the other line, though Lysander did catch a few hushed words excitedly whispered to another, Cadenza he figured. "Yeah, okay! Don't take too long though!" Heather urged, returning to the phone. "I won't. See you in a few."
After hanging up Lysander gave a heavy sigh, rolled his shoulder back, and began walking to the Pokémon Center to have both Amp and Bass healed. Their battle had been... rather eye-opening, even if it'd taken the very last pokemon to make him realize it, his pokemon needed more training and to get stronger. With barely anyone inside the red-topped building, Lysander was in and out within a few minutes, leaving the Pokecenter with his pokemon fully healed and the resolve to begin seriously training as soon as they could. On his way back to his sister, Lysander remembered he'd received a text from Melody and pulled his communicator out once more.
Text to Melody: How tragic, he has my sympathy. What does he do for cover in the winter? You might be a sucker, I, however, am just a selectively kind and willing individual. Eh, I can't even say for sure that I have a 'thing'. But, I have to admit I have a hard time seeing myself singing those sort of songs. Ever think about giving him a bit of incentive? Violent or otherwise. Yup, all eight. There's a list of cities on each flyer, it's not specific enough to tell you what area of each place though. Wouldn't want it to be too easy.
Message sent, Lysander looked up as he left the town behind. At its entrance, just as he'd told, a figure waited and as he drew closer he was able to confidently identify them as his sister. Poking her cheek in passing, his way of greeting, Lysander didn't slow his pace as he re-entered the forest.

Walking to the next town, Fumi had stumbled upon a few flyers mentioning some sort of egg hunt that was taking place. As the eager eyes of Fumi's team gazed at her expectantly, she couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable. It had been a while since so many strangers' eyes looked at her. Still, she had to persevere. Her brother had told her that establishing bonds between her and her Pokemon was important relationship to foster as it would help with battle and the like. Caught in a battle of stares, she started pondering. Doing nothing was certainly not going to get her anywhere after all... Maybe she could start with knowing their species a little better? "Um... Excuse me..." She said with a light bow as she raised her Pokedex to scan Pins. Luckily for her, she had a little of bit of knowledge concerning the functionalities of the device. She mused as the corner of her lips faintly upturned to form what most wouldn't recognize as a smile. The next in line to scan was her Litwick. Unlike Pins, Fumi was in the dark as to how this Pokemon would comport itself. She did, however, know that it was a dual mix fire type and something else, though it didn't take a genius to figure that out. Continuing to stare, the little Litwick began to squirm, looking rather uncomfortable from the attention he was getting. Taking a mental note of that, the girl activated her Pokedex, awaiting it to dictate the species' description to her.
'Litwick, the Candle Pokemon. Litwick shines a light that absorbs the life energy of people and Pokémon, which becomes the fuel that it burns.'
"Uh... Huh..." A look of weariness was now plastered on her face. She wondered if there was another way to feed it or if life energy was the only thing Wick could consume. Regardless, she wasn't about to abandoned it since she was just given the responsibility to take care of him. Well that and it seemed pitiful to leave someone so small to fend for themselves. Then again, for all she knew he could probably do a better job than she ever could. 'So timid and maybe a problem to feed?' She then eyed Pins. 'And him... Got to watch out for his quills and is always confused?' She thought that she had her work cut out for her. And she still had one more left to analyze!
