Now it was Dumuzi’s turn to have a little pink in his cheeks. ”T-thank you, though, I can’t take all the credit for picking all of this out, my pokemon seemed to have herded me into the selection that they wanted me to wear.” Dumuzi gave something of an exasperated sigh. Though he got a bit of a smile on his face as he looked over Theo. ”You wear the Jinbei well, the simple look is actually rather flattering on you.” And to be honest, it really did. Dumuzi thought that something more elegant or fancy would have clashed with Theo’s seemingly carefree attitude. When asked if they were ready to go, Dumuzi looked down at Niamh and nodded. ”Yes, I do believe Niamh and I are ready to go, if you and your brood are.” Dumuzi started to walk toward the forest again. He looked over at Theo as they started to walk together. ”By the way, how is Mawile doing? I don’t think I’ve seen him sense we dropped him off at the pokemon center.” He hadn’t noticed if Mawile was close by or not, at least, Dumuzi hadn’t seen him. Good grief.” Dumuzi’s gave a strange, forced smile, hopefully Theo’s pokemon wouldn’t do that to him, granted he wasn’t sure if his girls wouldn’t do that to him either. Like Theo said, they did seem to be little Fashionista’s. Dumuzi smiled at Niamh as she gave a happy chirp and wagged her silvery little tail in response to Theo’s little greeting. ”Niamh was the name of a fairy princess who fell in love with a human. I thought it may have been kind of fitting, seeing as she snuck into my pack when I wasn’t looking.” Dumuzi placed a reassuring hand on Theo’s shoulder. ”She’s a tough little pokemon so don’t worry so much, okay? Have some faith in her, I’m sure she’ll find her owner soon and be safe and sound.” Dumuzi tried to be an optimist whenever he could, hopefully some reassurance would do Theo some good, and maybe a topic change as well. ”What were your festivals like in Whitecliffe?” Dumuzi was having a hard time to think of what sort of festival you would hold in what sounded like an artic wasteland. Snowball fights and snowman making? Hmm… that was a curiosity for him.

Returning to the main lobby of the center, Ace found his little escort had vanished. "Hmm... I was hoping to ask him something." Ace mentioned to himself. Well, there was no use in dwelling on it now. Perhaps they'd meet again someday? Well, for now he had to see how Fia was doing. Meeting Nurse Joy's angelic smile, Ace leaned in over the counter with his own devious grin. "How is my darling, Fia doing?" he asked. "She's in perfect health." Joy replied, offering the fox's ball back to ace. Thanking the pinkette, Ace took Fia's ball and swiftly left the center, heading out to the main square to release the little fox. Sitting under the giant Roselia fountain, of which Derosa was happily observing, the male released the little lizard and Fia both. The fox, almost immediately leaped into Ace's lap. "I was actually quiet worried about you." Ace mentioned, gently running a hand along the fox's back. "This one saved you, I believe. You owe him thanks." Motioning towards the lizard. The Ghoizard seemed intent on watching Derosa. Was he attracted to something on the rose-handed Pokemon? Fia leaped from Ace's lap and eagerly pushed her nose into the lizard. She appeared to have startled it. Was he staring that hard at Derosa? Whatever the case, Fia thanked the lizard and in return it seemed to acknowledge her thanks. "Come to think of it, you need a nickname don't you?" The idea of nicknaming a Pokemon was rather fun in Ace's mind. He loved the individuality of a nicknamed Pokemon. Not to mention he certainly couldn't keep calling it Ghoizard.

Honestly he could only thing of names he'd used for his original team. Shiva, Ifrit, Valefor... Perhaps he should try to think of some foreign language? Amaranthian was a lost dialect, little he actually knew, being such an ancient and unused tongue. Well, likely there were tribes located around Amarantha that still used that ancient language. The sound of something beeping caught Ace's attention. His Holocaster had been updated finally with the information on the Ghoizard. Perhaps this would bring something to light? Scanning through the various information he took in a deep breath as he read. "Interesting." He muttered. "Giratina, huh?" Glancing over to the lizard, he found it smacking its lips, as if breathing though it's mouth. That looked like... Was it feeding on darkness? Derosa, nearby, seemed to grow less and less interested in the statue as well as her own reflection in the pouring water, growing more intent on the conversation Amarantha was trying to hold with her. Ace quirked a brow, returning his attention back to the Holocaster. If feeds on darkness.... Did that mean sins? Was Derosa's Vanity considered darkness? Well, in some cases it was. Well, if that's the case... the lizard certainly wasn't going to starve.

Due to some trade winds Noivern landed in Santalune City first. It was fine however being with the first gym the Pokemon around here were a lot weaker than even Pignite. Luckily he had Mudkip with him right now so if they came across Pokemon while searching they could still train.

Mulling over a nickname to give to this newest addition, Ace had become oblivious to a woman staring at him from across the square. The ladies eyes widened some. "Oh, it's adorable! Sure I'll help, but I want something first." The girl didn't need to really explain, her hand holding a ball already. "A battle? I just... I want to fight your Fenniken, and maybe that thing if you'll let me?" His Fenniken? Why? Glancing over to Fia, she'd grown interested in the conversation herself. The word 'battle' was what honestly drew her in. "Alright. I need to test Fia's strength anyway." The small fox leaped forward, barking eagerly to say she was ready for the fight.
Taking down the first Burmy, Ace had wished to send forward the Ghoizard, considering he tested that they only had Protect, a perfect target for the lizard, but the Ghoizard seemed to be sleeping when he turned to call it to the field. It had just eaten a rather large meal.... Well, perhaps another date. "Looks like Fia's it." Ace replied, turning with an apologetic smile. "That's fine, let's continue then." The woman replied. Fia quickly demolished the rest of her team, getting past the annoying Protecting, Fia stood victorious, but before any congratulations could be tossed in either direction, the fox began to glow. The woman collected her last Burmy, approaching Ace with an extended hand. "If we ever meet again, I'm sure my Burmy will have evolved, so I'd like a rematch on that day." A rematch? Well, he certainly owed the girl that much for aiding in Fia's evolution. "As you wish." Taking her hand, he leaned forward and gently pecked the top of it with a kiss. The woman had only expected a handshake, not a gentleman's gesture. her cheeks flushed red, and with a hasty bow she quickly retreated to the Pokemon Center. She turned back suddenly, nearly tripping. "How about Deus?" Turning once more she continued on her way. Ace grinned devilishly to himself before he turned his attention back to Fia, Who'd promptly pulled a twig from a nearby bush to stick into her tail. "I think it's time we take on the gym." Fia nodded, eager for more fighting.
Finally, his gaze returned to the sleeping Ghoizard. "Deus... It does sort of fit." Walking across to his little companion, the male scooped it up and quickly lifted Derosa up to his shoulder before starting for the Gym.

The idea of this being a bug-type gym hit Ace right as he walked it. Various trainers walking around with bugs on their shoulders or the like. It disgusted Ace to no end... he, was no fan of bugs. Pressing on, he found the field, but before seending Fia forward, the male had a thought. "Fia, would you mind actually sitting this one out?" The fox halted beside Ace, arching a brow up towards the male. "I'd actually like to test out Sidra in this gym." Resting her paws down on her hips, the fox huffed out a sigh before letting a smile cross her lips. "Thank you, dear." Brushing the foxes fur with a hand, he turned and released Sidra, letting the Mareep get a feel of the field before he called for the gym leader. "Hello? I've come to challenge your gy-"
