Sable shrugged a bit when Ezra commented on not seeing them at the festival."Well, considering there's suppposed to be seven islands out there, odds are we were just on different islands,"she replied, then tilted her head and shrugged again."Plus, we spent most of the day hiking up Mount Ember and relaxing in a hot spring anyway, so unless it was right when we got there odds are you wouldn't have seen us at all if you two just stuck around the games."The teen noticed Jin wince slightly when she mentioned the hot spring."...Relaxing for you two, maybe..."Even though it had been an honest mistake and he didn't really have any hard feelings about it, apparently Jin was still feeling a little sore about what happened during his dip.
The teen then chuckled a bit when asked if she was going to go cheer for Darren."Well, I don't think I'd go that far, but I'll go watch. I'm not much for cheering."Sable let out another chuckle before noticing that Darren was getting flustered about pronouncing Mitsu's name incorrectly. Not that Sable could tell much of a difference between the two pronounciations, either."Hey, c'mon. It's not like you did it on purpose,"she told Darren as she patted him on the shoulder. That little bit of comforting was all that was really needed as far as she could tell since the conversation quickly turned towards lighter topics such as travel arrangements and the names of the fire types. Actually, it seemed like a bunch of names were jumbled up considering there were two Flynns, a Mitsu, and a Mizu.
Speaking of, when the small water type came over and was picked up by her trainer Sable couldn't help but coo a bit."Aww~ Well, it's nice to meet you, Mizu~"she greeted sweetly, not really noticing the hesitation in the greeting on the phione's end. Jin did, though, and while he didn't quite get what the water type expected to have happen, he did catch the brief moment of confusion as whatever it was the water pokemon wanted to do or expected to have happen apparently didn't work.
Darren bringing up the picture was enough to make Sable focus on something other than the pretty phione for the moment."Yeah, it should show up any second now. At least, as long as you didn't give me a wrong number,"she said, then chuckled quietly. Not that she actually expected him to do something like that on purpose, but mistakenly get one digit confused for another? That sounded like something that could happen with him."Well, if it was a wrong number, then that just means someone else is gonna get an awesome picture showing up in a text message."No harm, no foul from her point of view. Well, okay, she could think of a few bad things that could happen from that pic being found by a random person, but most of those things depended on the person getting the image.

Darren gave a light nod as Sable insisted it wasn't like he'd misspoken the name on purpose, but he still felt bad for offending Mitsu. Though he blinked in surprise when Mitsu insisted he hadn't meant to fluster him. Th-then don't act so offended!!!! You scared me... Darren thought to himself, rather baffled by Mitsu's sudden turnaround, but he was certainly glad he wasn't holding a grudge or anything. Wait.... Had Mitsu called him "cutie" just then....? Darren's already flustered face turned an even deeper shade of pink, not quite sure how to feel about that. It certainly shut him up for the time being, keeping his eyes down and away in embarrassment until Erza mentioned he found it odd they hadn't seen each other at the tanabata. Sable however pointed out that there were seven islands, and not to mention she and Darren had spent most of their time doing things like hiking up mount ember, which Darren recalled none of the other tourists had seemed particularly interested in doing. Or at least, that was his interpretation since they were the only ones on that mountain path. Even the hot springs weren't as crowded as Darren thought they'd be.
Still, Darren had rather enjoyed the trip. Jin didn't seem too happy about the memories of the hot springs though. "Heh.... Eheheh..... C'mon Jin, you aren't still that upset...... R-right....?" Darren asked meekly, scratching his cheek. The topic thankfully changed soon to the question of whether or not Sable would cheer Darren on, and he was honestly surprised to hear that Sable would probably watch. He almost felt inclined to express his surprise, and inquire what had made sable change her mind. After all it wasn't just a minute ago that she'd insisted that she had been planning on working with her own pokemon instead. Nevertheless he was glad to hear that she might come with him anyways. Or.... Maybe it was a lie, an easy one to make so that she didn't have to explain the truth again, and rehash her wounded pride. "Yeah... I think between the two of you, Jin's the one more likely to cheer." He agreed, smiling to Ezra when he wished Darren good luck. "Heh~ Thanks Ezra." He nodded appreciatively. "And good luck to you too, for the rest of your upcoming battles!" Darren grinned, though he was somewhat distracted as Mitsu excused himself to take care of a call, and speaking of unknown numbers, Darren checked in with Sable about their picture.
She insisted that it should come shortly, unless he gave her the wrong number by accident. Darren was fairly certain that he had given the right number... After worrying for a moment more, Darren suddenly got a message from an unknown number as well and grinned, opening up the file attached to it to reveal the awesome shot of Moltres that Sable had gotten. "Awesome!" He breathed, honestly rather relieved it had come through. He saved Sable's contact information in the device and turned to Sable. "So, shall we?" Darren offered vaguely, in case his theories of Sable wanting to keep her training a secret were correct, glancing to the doors of the building. However, he also couldn't help but notice that Mitsu was getting awfully worked up about that call, whatever it was about....

Jin pursed his lips a bit when asked about still being upset concerning the incident at the hot spring.Maaaaaaaaybe..."he mused, sounding rather serious, then flashed Darren a lopsided grin and gave him a chuckle to hopefully let him know that he was kidding. At least, about the being too sore part."Nah, it's water under the bridge. Mostly."The disguised zorua gave another chuckle, then looked over at Ezra when he expressed some curiosity about the incident."Ah, it's not as bad as I'm making it sound. A relaxing soak turned into a harsh dunk was all,"he summarized, leaving out the how of things since, while Ezra knew his little secret, Mitsu didn't.
Sable did feel a bit bad about her reply since it hadn't entirely been honest. Yes, she did want to go watch Darren, and if they could fit in some training with Honey before or after the gym battle then it wouldn't be an issue, but if they were in a rush... She'd have to pick the training over the battle. And if the training was done before the battle and something went wrong... Well, she was aware of the risks and just had to hope she didn't get a stinger or three in too bad of a place. She couldn't let herself dwell on the bad things that might happen, though. It would just make things more difficult.
While Darren fussed over waiting for the message to get to him, Sable took the opportunity to get her thoughts sorted out a bit. At least, until Ezra asked about the picture they were talking about."Oh, well, we ended up finding where a moltres was roosting for the evening while climbing up Mount Ember. Since I doubted I'd get another chance to see one for a long time, I figured a picture couldn't hurt."Jin cleared his throat a bit at the "couldn't hurt" part of Sable's claim, causing her to glare at him."What? That moltres wasn't even trying to hit us with those flamethrowers. If anything, it was like an old man shaking his cane at some kids on his yard,"she snapped, not wanting to hear his claims otherwise.
Thankfully, any argument that could be had was headed off by Darren suggesting the two trainers get going. It seemed like Mitsu was going to be heading out, too, and was offering them his number. Sable actually had to think about it for a moment before deciding it couldn't hurt."Yeah, sure. I'll give you mine, too, in case you want to call me for something,"she replied as she pulled out her P*DA and started setting up the contact information in it and giving the other teen her contact information. She then looked over at Ezra, not really reacting to Mitsu becoming his arm accessory. Or was it the other way around?"I don't mind you having it too, Ezra. You know, since it's sounding like we're about to go seperate ways again."She was trying to keep up a bit of a smile, but it faltered slightly."Unless you weren't planning on going with Mitsu or something.""Something," of course, meaning she was aware of the slightly possibility that Ezra might not want her number anyway.

Darren shifted uncomfortably when Jin suggested that he was still sore for the dunk Darren had given him. In Darren's defense he'd been rather surprised when Jin had suddenly turned into a Zorua in his hands. Dropping him into the water was just a bad reaction, at least he'd scooped the Zorua back out of the water after the fact. Jin soon broke his serious facade though and gave Darren a grin. Darren relaxed after that, albeit a little flustered by the fact that Jin was just messing with him. Mostly anyways, as the Zorua pointed out. "H-harsh?! Come on... I-It was an accident...!" Darren defended with an apologetic smile, but there wasn't a need to rehash the topic. Jin was just poking at him, that was all. Frankly Darren kind of deserved it.
Ezra thankfully didn't ask too much farther, instead wondering about the picture Darren was talking about, which Sable all too happily explained. Darren couldn't help but chuckle a bit as Jin cleared his throat when Sable mentioned that the picture "couldn't hurt". At that, Sable somewhat altered her statement, insisting that the flamethrowers weren't meant to be attacks, but more akin to an old man shaking his cane to get kids off his lawn. "Ehhh.... That cane came awfully close to whacking us over the head though." Darren suggested, scratching his head a bit. Though, as the picture came in, he showed Ezra before saving Sable's contact information. Mitsu also came back after ending his conversation, offering up his contact info as well. Darren took it happily, but he was rather confused by the other information that Mitsu had mentioned. "E-excorsism what now....?" He asked, confused. He had no idea what Mitsu was talking about, but he seemed to be in a hurry, so Darren wasn't going to make Mitsu wait around and give him the details. "Okay, well uh, good luck! I'll send you a text." He nodded, since he didn't have anything to write his information on, waving as they headed out.
Now Sable turned to Darren, suggesting they start moving and getting things taken care of. "Yeah, good idea." He nodded, following her out of the pokemon center. He stayed behind Sable, since she was the one who needed to pick a place to train her beedrill. Though, he shifted uncomfortably when Jin brought up the fact that she'd said she would watch Darren's battle. They were out of earshot from the others, but whispered just in case, Sable mentioning that she'd watch if they could fit both in. "It's... Really fine if you can't though, you know." He insisted sheepishly. "So where were you planning on training her?" He asked curiously.

It had taken longer than he had thought to make it out of Mt. Moon, but that didn't matter too much to Alex as he took his first steps outside. He reached a hand up to shield his eyes from the sun, it always took a bit of time for the eyes to adjust. Despite the minor annoyance, Alex was just happy to have made it to Pewter City. This was it, the location where he could start his new collection of badges. His attention turned toward Eevee, still perched on his shoulder as usual. "Finally made it, first is the pokemon center, then the gym." To his pokemon, this kind of excitement was a normal thing, so she was just along for the ride at this point.["Always in such a rush... what a pain."]Eevee spoke, before letting out a sigh. Alex couldn't help, but chuckle at Eevee's reaction, it was always amusing understanding a pokemon without words. Perhaps it was better that she didn't speak the human language. It was uncomfortable carrying Agate in his arm while he searched for pokemon center. He entered the place and headed straight to the counter. "Welcome, what can I help you?" nurse joy greeted him. " I need to refresh my pokemon," he told the nurse and handed him Agate along with his other pokeball. The process was quick as Nurse Joy simply placed the pokeball on a machine and re-energize them. "Here you go. Do you need anything else?" Nurse Joy ask as she returned him the pokeball. "Thank you, Nurse Joy. No, nothing . . . yet," William replied, before he left the counter. He went to a store inside the pokemon center next, inquiring about the seed Jasper held and the stone he got from murkrow. He found that the seed's called Miracle seed that when a pokemon hold it, it would boost the strength of grass type move used, while the stone's eviolite, a strange stone that only worked on pokemon capable of evolution that had not reached their peak of evolutionary. Eviolite would boost a pokemon defense against physical and special attack. No wonder that murkrow was so tough to beat. He thanked the clerk, but not before the clerk decided to recommend him some item that would help his pokemon's training. William felt obliged to purchase the exp share, because he had asked for the clerk's help. He thought to give it to Agate and see whether it would help or not. The item looked dubious actually.
On his way out, William noticed a poster about an event of sort. Before he could read it, a hand was on his shoulder. "WHA-!?" William shouted in surprise and turned to face a woman. "You, you are a trainer, correct?" the woman asked him with a smile. He noticed that she wore disturbing outfit of white kimono, strapped candles with her headband, and carrying stick with papers. Creepy. "uuh . . . I am . . . " He answered, fearing that the woman might do something if he didn't. William felt that he should run from the woman. "Perfect!" the woman clapped her hand together. "come on then, we have a challenge you will absolutely love!" she then handed him a flyer and added, "I will also throw extra cookies in if you join." William was too polite to interrupt, until it's too late. The woman grabbed him and his surrounding warped. William was terrified of what happened to his surrounding, he didn't dare to move or blink.
