Victoria caught only a few coins the first moment, and scoop to pick up the rest ....as a pillow would connect against her face. Anger shone on Victoria's face as well as she rip it away, and she probably would have thrown it back if the clock hasn't miss by a few inches. Then came the other items, and, the fact that her hands were full and she was having trouble dodging long enough to empty them ...had the girl exiting the room in short order.

She was looking for more space so she could fire some of those missiles back.

Aella took it as a moment of relief and declares loudly.

(Finally, my tail hurts)

The words of pain was the only thing that kept the girl from restarting the fight. She saw the door was still open, but made no move to go back. Pocketing the coins, that were still in her hands, she would turn away.

"Let's go to the pokemon center."

It is in that way, that Victoria left the battling hotel, and headed away to the pokemon center. The electric squirrel was injured and so were her other pokemon ...to the point that another battle didn't seem to be all that appealing. Besides, there would be other chances to get a bug type.

Thus, Victoria would go to the pokemon center.

This time as Victoria entered the building she'd see a pair of red faced young boys marching rather quickly from the center, their speed evidently more due to nerves than anything else. Seated on the counter-top this time, the rather risque Nuse Joy would greet Victoria with a smile and a wave "Welcome back cutie~! How may I help you?" She asked, her voice carrying a tone which likely would have implied something to anyone of the opposite gender "...did you find what you were looking for?" The woman would add curiously. Apparently the Nurse recalled their previous encounter rather well!

Battle after battle ...fight after fight. She had forgotten about the Nurse until she was back in front of her as Aella's fur actually stood on end.

"Umm...I need my pokemon healed."

She really wanted to run away then. She wanted to take off through the door, and never come back, but she couldn't move an inch. She only took a deep breathe as she declares to the first question.

"No, I didn't find him at the casino, or ....he didn't find me."

The girl would hand over her pokemon ....as the flying squirrel would seem to be trembling as she hands over both pokeballs and pokemon.

Taking the Pokeballs the Nurse would place each in a tray. Then taking Aella, the woman would press the squirrel firmly to her chest with one hand, and taking the tray in the other, before heading into the back of the center. Pokemon outside of their balls were of course subjected to a more intimate inspection on the assumption that something is wrong with them hence their continued release.

Returning several minutes later, Joy would place the Emolga and Pokeballs with a gentle plop "Now see that wasn't so bad was it?" She said, patting the rodent on the head before returning her attention to Victoria "Have you tried the Art Museum? Lots of tourists go to see the exhibits, and I hear there's been some excitement around there as of late."

Victoria shivered as she got her pokeballs back and took one look at Aella. The pokemon looked like death warm over ...even though ...she knew that she was completely healed. Pulling her down from the counter slowly ....it seemed only then that the electric squirrel would recognize her trainer.

Eyes, that looked like they had seen death, glare into her own.

(The horror .. ) Aella muttered. (The horror)

There was literally dread on the pokemon's face ...as Victoria looked over her head at the currently talking nurse. What in the hell had she done to Aella? Though, fear kept her from voicing it out loud, afterall, if she could do that to a pokemon what in the hell could she do to her.

The girl took that as a good as time as any to retreat as caught the tail end of the conversation.

"Okay ....I will try the Art Muesuem, especially is there is a bit too do."

The girl declares as she walks out of the room backwards. Then she turned and run towards the destination ...Aella crying once she was free of that place loudly.

(My innocents ...my innocents is gone)

Victoria would go the museum.

As Victoria made the journey to her destination she'd find the crowds of people getting thicker, the press of bodies making it difficult to progress...except for someone as 'petite' as Victoria perhaps. When she reached the other side she'd find a police-line and a huge empty space around the whole of the Museum. Although it had been difficult to tell the time with all the lights of the streets, out here the skyline was significantly more open, allowing one to see the clear night sky if not the starts themselves.

Placed at set intervals around the police-line were of course the police themselves, but more interesting was the men marked as "special forces" wearing what could only be described as a modified Grunt uniform; and standing in their midst was none other than the man himself, Chase Wilde and his Blastoise Panzer!

Victoria had to stop herself from sighing in relief. Finally ...finally she had found the man as she screamed at the top of her lungs before she rushed over to the grunts. If they tried to stop her, she would show off her own badge of honor as the watch came to mind ...as she screamed his name loudly.

"Professor Wilde" "PROFESSOR WILDE!"

The girl was glad that this entire adventure was at an end. The girl was completely ignoring the entire climate of the moment.

So excited was she Victoria was likely to miss the smile which crossed the face of her Professor, an expression which normally would have warned her to stop and run in the opposite direction. As it was by the time she reached him it would be too late, the man now grinning from ear to ear as he suddenly announced "Here she is boys! The answer to all your problems! Our own little..." It was at this point the man would suddenly drop a small Sherlockian hat on Victoria's head, and a bowler for the Emolga "...Junior Detective!"

Victoria would now find herself faced with at least twenty weakly disguised grunts looking at her very skeptically. Very skeptically indeed.

"Yes indeed with her around the Thief will certainly be caught, so why don't you all run off and take care of those things I ask while I update the detective on the situation" Professor Wilde said, waving the men off before turning to Victoria and saying "So how's it going squirt? Have fun?"

Yes, she had missed it. The smile, the oh so dangerous smile, and as he dropped the hat upon her head ....and the grunt looked at her skeptically ....she didn't help them much at all with facepalming herself.

"Oh no ...not again."

She literally moan as Aella felt the hat upon her head, and reached up and started to tear it apart. She didn't like the idea of something on her head ...as Victoria's looked up at him and she wonder if the most traumatic one wasn't him instead of the nurse.

"What in the hell is going on here?"

Aella would glare upwards at Wilde as she made that statement.

"Yes well, you see as of late Glitter City has been experiencing something of crime wave by a particular thief. A theatrical sort, he's probably native to the area given all the razzle dazzle" Professor Wilde said a bit offhandedly "Thing is what he's been stealing hasn't just been pricey, it's been ours. Not once has he stolen anything which wasn't technically Organization property. Hence why we're here. We need to know if he works for your enemies, or if it's just a coincidence."

"The objective is capture, or if possible recruitment. The Organization could use someone with his...talents. You're here because even a student is a step above the average grunt, and given his age we figured someone younger would have better odds. Either at recruitment or at least making him drop his guard" The Professor went on, rolling his wrist a little "He's already in there, should be heading for the roof. Thing is he's tampered with the security system on the second floor...and then there's his 'fans' as well" The Professor said, air quoting fans.

"Why in the hell do I always have to do the jobs you don't want too. I bet that stupid security system will make my life hell, and these Fans ....as in people or fans as in something that blows air?"

Victoria would ask as she sighs heavily. She always had bad timing, and it would seem that this time was no better as she thought about ways to handle the situation. Though first ...first she needed confirmation of a few things as she releases not one, but two pokemon into the air. The first is Aella who simply glides, and the second one is Eve who flies around her. She would circle and circle as the flying squirrel would instead look for the right updraft to stay floating in the air with her wings outstretched.

"If it's the people kind, I will send both Eve and Aella ahead to scout the area on the roof, and if possible keep him from escaping until I can arrive. I know I am probably going to be in a world of trouble, but, I will have to enter the building and head to the top floor.

There is no way I am getting around that one, unless, you got a flying type big enough to get me on the roof pass all the trouble?"

She would pause as she ask Wilde.

"So, since I am a junior detective ...what is my reward for completing such a dangerous ....mission."

"Really we're the Tactics Team" Professor Wilde stated, sounding more than a little offended "If it was easy as flying up to the roof don't you think we'd have done that by now? Every time anyone tries he shines the museum floodlights in their eyes....stupid things are apparently used to attract attention during special events and ward off airplanes..." The man shook his head briskly "Aside from that he's taken a few additional items hostage we'd rather not see falling off the roof if ya catch my drift."

The Professor would pat Victoria's head after that, chuckling "Fans though, wish I'd thought of that. Although I don't think the museum would consider a wind tunnel appropriate security" He said, still snickering as he removed his hand and looked back at the building "Nah these people are very much human. Oddly not all the ones getting in the way are trainers either. Just perfectly normal people." Tilting his head the Professor seemed rather perplexed at that part "Well guess it goes to show some people are just nuts."

"Anyway..." He waved his hands through the air "Who said there was a reward? I mean really I'm a Professor and you're a Student, isn't my heartfelt thanks and a good grade reward enough?" The man asked, lifting a bow and standing there silently for a moment "....No?...Alright then let's call it a surprise, but one you won't be able to resist once you see it" Professor Wilde said, giving the girl a thumbs up as if that were some sort of guarantee.

Victoria almost wails out loud.

"Well just because, we are tactics doesn't mean ....you can't overlook the obvious. Besides, for once I could hope...it would be easy?"

She was state once he stops the conversation while her two pokemon hearing that the plan was off would land on her head and shoulders. It would seem that they at least was paying full attention as Eve would preen her feathers and Aella would tap one finger against the girl's head.

"Anyway ...the reward better not be a coupon to some resturant. So to make sure I got this right, crazy fans are going to try and stop me from going to the roof, and somehow I got to figure out who the thief is on the roof without the guy or girl throwing precious items off of the roof."

"That is after dealing with the security on the second floor."

Victoria it would seem was in bad shape no matter how she does this ...as she would head for the entrance. She stopped for only a moment.

"Is there anything else I should know before I go in there?"

Professor Wilde would tilt his head for a moment before saying "They just waxed the floors" Truly sagely advice from the only adult around capable of telling her anything useful. After that the man would leave, and if Victoria was still watching, she might see him suddenly throwing away what appeared to be a piece of paper of some sort...a coupon perhaps?

Once the child entered she'd find nothing but gleaming halls filled with rows upon rows of priceless paintings and sculptures. The first floor seemed entirely loaded with artwork from various masters of the craft through the centuries, and indeed the place seemed in fine condition. Nothing appeared to be missing, and not a soul was in sight.

Once she reached the stairs however she'd find nothing nothing but darkness. The second floor was lit only by the emergency and warning lights. Various security devices could be seen here and there, but they all seemed pretty standard, gates to restrict access to certain exhibits, security cameras, nothing particularly dangerous...

Victoria would only grumble as she walked up the stairway. Both of her pokemon were still attach as she slowed down quite a bit, and tries to walk without making much of a sound. Her feet touching on the ground lightly ....as she moves to try and sneak around. She could see trouble already in the form of the security system as she tries to get a bead on whether or not she could skirt around it's range of motion or vision.

"I just get all the good jobs don't I?"

She asked as Aella would point with one paw, and Eve would duck a little lower against her shoulder. No fur or feathers were bring permitted to fall as she tries to literally crawl her way through their ranks.
