Kota angled his legs so he looked like a top while he spun on his hands. He pushed off the ground as wind whipped around him as he flew up into the air. He noticed the sun setting as he did a flip and landed on the ground before bowing to the cheering men. "Ok...It's getting dark. You know how it goes mates. My skills are't as useful at dark."

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”"That's the bare minimum of what you do, though the rest is mainly for you to decide.", the Huntress responds. She sighs softly as she shifts into a somewhat more comfortable standing position. "Your basic role is to guard and guide your respective kingdoms, with the Spirit Guardian acting as a mediator. Originally, you would have been the leaders of the kingdoms, but the war between the Guardians ended that. Do you understand so far?", she says as she briefly checks their emotions and immediate thoughts. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield

Rand nodded in agreement towards the Huntress's statements, though his thoughts were reeling at the topic of their discussion. I'm a Guardian? I'm one of them? The news quietly disturbed the young man as it explained much about why his father had been attacked when the assassins had wanted him. He had merely thought they were some people he had burned by mistake...But the suspicion that he might have been targeted because of who he really was settled within his core. Though he wanted to ask about who were the current leaders of the kingdoms, he already knew that there were six Kings in total for each third of the two large domains, Light and Shadow. So we're the Guardians...But altogether there is only four in my room, five with Huntress. So that leaves three unaccounted for.. "Do you know where the other three Guardians are?"

Avani heard what the Wind mage was saying and decided to have a little fun. "Mine are," she smirked, stepping from behind the tree and making some night-blooming flowers sprout around its base. "How do you do, fellas? My name's Avani."

"Mediator, huh?" Shechina muttered. "Guess I'm definitely gonna have to get better at shielding myself." And maybe working at negotiating with the other Guardians would help her in dealing with her cousin when the other girl came to visit. Thinking of which, she still hadn't found Avani yet.

Kota looked at the newcomer and raised a eyebrow before tipping his hat abit. "Hello, I'm Kota." He said smiling. "What are yo doing out before night? It can be dangerous."

"I guess tht means we should all make friends?" Leigh Ann asked. Not having people skills, if the other's at least liked her it would make mediating easier.

Avani shrugged as if it was no big deal that the sun was setting. "Oh, I was just talking to the trees. It's really interesting to hear what they think of us. And I wouldn't worry about it being dangerous for me." A long ivy vine unwrapped itself from the tree it grew on and twined around her outstretched arm. "I'm an Earth mage, you see. My powers get stronger at night," she said, smiling.

((Hey all, I was given permission to advertise this in here so I figure while i'm waiting I'll do that. I need one more human character for my homestuck RP, the character needs to be male in order for the storyline to work so if anyone is interested let me know. The RP is here: http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=22610409 ))

Kota smiled. "Nice. I'm what they call a 'Wind walker' or a wind mage in your people's terms." He said rubbing his neck. "My powers still work...but night air seems hard to control. It has it's only personality." He said crossing his arms.

Avani shrugged again, smiling understandingly. "That makes sense." She let the vine go back to its tree. "Ah, but since you asked what I'm doing out here with night approaching, it begs the same question of you," she said.

Rand grinned to himself at the prospect of making friends, a task he wound both entertaining and pleasantly distracting him from his injuries. "Not a problem Leigh. You already know I'm up for a good practice skirmish now and then with you." He turned back to Shechina after addressing the Earth Guardian, resting his chin on his left fist balancing on his thigh. "Penny for your thoughts Shechina. You seem to be rather apprehensive at the moment. Anything we could take care of?

Shechina shook her head. "Nothing really. I was simply thinking about our current situation and my role in it."

Leigh Ann smiled. She already had a nickname, and that was a fun thought to her. "I'm sure that it won't be too bad." She said. "I mean, I doubt the role of guardian is handed out randomly. We all must have inherited this role for a reason."

Rand paused to think on what Leigh Ann had said, his gaze turning back onto his fellow Guardian before he spoke. "...It never occurred to me that perhaps we were meant for something more. It just doesn't seem real Leigh. That we're supposed to be the ones who look over mankind, and try to keep the balance between our kingdoms...I actually feel pretty excited at the prospect. Of course," here he paused while making sure he took in both Shechina and Leigh in his following comment, "I get to hang around quite the set of beauties. So I must have done something wrong in my life for such a reward."
