"Me and Blade will take the island" Anube said as she looked at her, "is this all right with you love?" He knew the demon realm would be out of the question and the island was there home. The would do good there more then anything. not only that they would be close to home. ((gaaa bad post))

Rowan simply nodded to the goddess to let her know he agreed with her decision to go back to the Elven Realm and protect the gate. In fact he was glad she chose that realm as he knew the place like the back of his hand, thanks to all the time he had spent watching over Wren.

Blade gave a small nod to Anube, "We'll stay with Sebastet," she stated simply. Though actually understanding her words through that growl wasn't too easy. She finally looked back at her demon mate and gave a soft sigh before calming her growl and relaxing a bit under his hand.
Gypsy gave a small frown at a feeling she hadn't had in a while and looked up at Ash, "I'll see you both back at the castle. I have to go check on something," she told him simply then looked over at Lao.
She stayed quiet for a moment then gave him a respectful bow of her head, something she really only did with Lareth. Then she disappeared in a flash of flames...

Anube gave her a smiled and pulled her in for a fast hug and kiss. He knew this was hard on her but he would be there for her no matter what happened. "Lady Sebastet we wait your orders" he said looking to her. It was there home but her island and she would have the best plan on how to do things.

Cedric huffed clearly irritated by the wait. He bounces his light ball around and shoots some more hoops before shifting into full dragon form and stretching his wings out to curl into a ball to sleep.

Lao shook his head at Cedric, ignoring the question for now. "Your energy would be better spent finding one of the locks. If anything, you would be better suited to heading to the Vampire Island and finding the lock. And you best put aside the idea that this Jericho is an imp of sorts. If memory serves correctly, he is single handedly responsible for destroying many platoons of angels and ripping out their souls. Best be on your guard boy; I doubt Sasha wishes to lose another mate because he was careless and arrogant. Especially when that arrogance is undeserved. " He stated and headed over to Ebony and his son.
"Arden, you will stay with Cedric, your sister, and Kayla. Kane, go to the demon realm and fight. Shen, you stay here with me and your mother. " The sons didn't protest, knowing that trying to argue with their father would be absolutely pointless. Arden walked over to Cedric and pokes him on the side. " Wake up Cedric. We have work to do." His eyes fell to Kayla as he smiled. " Let's go Kayla. Let's hope you can stop this Jericho fellow."

Kayla nodded weakly smiling back. "Okay lets do this." She said standing back up keeping the book close to her following after Lao watching as the others leave and disappear, it was amazing to watch but she knew she had to get ready to ty and stop Jericho before he hurt someone else.

Cedric peeked open one eyelid and merely gazed at the one poked his side. He shifts back into his human form and stands tall over the one who called him boy. "Poke me again...and you'll lose that finger. And you, dont ever call me boy again. I am at least as old as you if not older. As for my 'arrogance' as you called it. It's not arrogance if I have the ability to back up it, which I do. As for the smiting of a...what did you call it 'platoon' of angles? Depending on the rank of the angel, which if they were in a group that large, means they were very low ranked angels. Doesnt mean anything. Now I know for a fact that all the Archangels, and even the special angels that have other jobs are still very much still alive. So that doenst worry me. Must have been a lowly host as its properly called. Also my question does have validity Arent' all these islands in the same realm? I can fly back and forth easily enough with no noticeable shift of energy? Also I believe I said "I thought I knew a imp named Jericho", not that this character was him. It is a popular name enough. Finally now, which is it? babysit a human or break a lock, I've been getting conflicting suggestions."He snorts smartly with a stony glare at the other dragons resting his hand on the pommel of both of his blades idly.

Lao chuckled at Cedric, clearly amused with his reaction. " If you are so sure of yourself boy, then I invite you to challenge me when this all over. I'd be more than happy to show you why you are wrong and why your chicken winged siblings do not dare attempt to attack me. It is a pity your draconic heritage is tainted by self righteous arrogance that your Archangels so blatantly display, but again I am not surprised. Your kind only fights what it can kill, always backing down from real enemies because your pride is more valuable than actually bringing justice. If you wish to continue arguing with me and threatening my children, I will put you in your place. Do we have an understanding?" Lao asked, approaching Cedric and tightening his grip on his own blade. " Or do you wish to disobey the Dragon Emperor?"
Arden moved in between Cedric and Lao with hands up, a frown on his face. "Dad, now isn't the time to start threatening allies. Cedric is here to help, and even you said that Sasha was like a daughter to you. You promised her father that you would care and love her like any of us, and you would never slay a mate of our choosing over petty comments like this. And Cedric, I understand that you are half Archangel and half dragon, a creature of war. Sorry to say, but the Brood Mother just granted my dad armor made from her own body, and a weapon specifically designed to slay Primal Dragons. I do not know much of your God, but the Brood Mother is equivalent to Him, and dragons are Her angels. Lao is the very first dragon in existence, which makes him the equivalent of the very first Archangel in existence. Unless you can truly say you can slay the very first Archangel, then you are making a big judgement in error."

Rebecca softly stood by Ash as she looked over at Cedric and Lao going at it, shes not surprised Cedric doing such a thing as he always he stood up for himself and hated others that thought that could over power him. She was a little annoyed at how much hatred is towards Angels here, as she was half angel herself, even she was a fallen one. Rebecca then heard a small ring come from Cedric's sword and noticed it was not his natural sword he wore, an image of the same kind of sword appeared in her mind as she knew what it was, the sword that had the power to kill anything if used right and Cedric knows how to use it as it meant for Angels and only they can hear its power. Rebecca softly stepped over to them giving a small smile, "Do not under estimate Cedric for what he is, he could slay the first Archangel if he wanted too, but your son his right Lao lets not start something when it is not important right now to get worked up about. You both shouldn't judge each other on power till you both know how powerful you both are. You do not know Cedric as Cedric dose not know you, for all you both know you could be equal in power. Now if you both please calm down and lets us continue to the realms we need to go to instead of wasting time on who's has more power then the other." Rebecca spoke in a calm but strong tone as she was not afraid to speak her words and Ash knew she could help calm Cedric at least to get them to back off from each other and get back to why they were there.

Ebony stayed back, knowing Lao could handle himself, but did motion the rest of her brood to back off. In particular, she gave Kane a 'nudge' to shift to his human form and behave himself. He'd already tried to challenge her once but had learned that lesson all too well. Besides, the display she was showing right now was not an idle threat...
Sebastet motioned Blade, Anube, Kayla, and Karina over to her so they could leave. At the testosterone display, though, she simply rolled her eyes and gave off a low growl before looking to Ebony and Rebecca with one raised eyebrow, "Do you think if we had them pull out their other 'swords' we could measure who has the biggest 'threat' and get this one over with? Honestly... At least Lio knows better than to pull crap like this..." she said in an annoyed tone before turning to look at Cedric.
"As for you... Cedric, was it? ... I've met most of the Archangels. Only one had any semblance of manners where the other races are concerned. If you were raised by Michael, then I know you know better than to pull this kind of crap. If you weren't raised by him, then I'm not surprised," she told him simply then looked back at Rebecca.
"As for you, don't get your panties in a twist over how we all feel about the angels. We've been dealing with them for a very long time and they haven't exactly given us a very good impression when they've come around. We hold no problem with your angelic blood or Cedric's. Our only problem with Mr. Testosterone, here, is his attitude. He needs to tone it down a notch or two. That's all," she told her in a softer tone.
The Goddess chose that moment to approach the two males, turning her strange eyes on them both in turn. Most found her eyes disturbing since there was no iris and no white background to them, just an endless field of stars.
Lao knew better and dropped his eyes to her out of respect. Then she turned to Cedric, "Calm yourself... This is not the time or the place for such dissension. If we do not win this battle... Do you truly believe that Nicol will stop with us?" she said softly, hoping he would understand, "I understand you are a warrior, Cedric. I chose you to watch over Kayla for a reason. You are not just bred for war. Your angelic line also marks you as a protector for those who face great danger. For Kayla, facing Jericho and trying to win him over will not be without peril for her. He will come with others who will seek to destroy her for what she is going to attempt.
"Look at her, Cedric. She is terrified. Not only of what she will face, but of all of us as well. We are all powerful creatures while she is human and fragile. That should make her life even more precious to you who must face such a long life, when hers is finite. You will get your share of fighting, Son of Light... But war is not all you were meant for... Will you let her face this alone, without the protection and aid that you are uniquely qualified for?" she told him, still in that soft voice.
Her words actually humbled Ash as he stood behind Rebecca. He knew all too well what a long life meant. He'd only discovered the true joy of living when he met Rebecca. Now he treasured each and every moment with her and treated each one as if it were his last. But to imagine only a few decades with her as the humans did? That thought actually frightened him.
He reached forward to put a hand on her shoulder in silent reassurance, hoping she would see that Sebastet had only spoken the truth to her and Cedric. And that the Goddess had spoken a very humbling truth to them all...
Blade simply moved to stand with Sebastet, Anube keeping his hand on her. She, of them all, had very little patience with dominance displays or arrogance. So she stayed quiet so that she wouldn't make the situation worse....

Rebecca looked over at Sebastet and smirked a little what she said but she softly stood back as the goddess took over. As Ash came up behind her and put a soft hand on her shoulder, she looked over her shoulder at him giving a small smile relaxing from his touch. She was just trying to help and she hoped Ash knew that, and yes it did bother her about what they said about the Angels but she didn't say or show anything about it, so she wondered how Sebastet even knew that.
Rebecca softly moved next to Ash's side as she just wanted to go already, she felt like she was standing and waiting here long enough and she had to admit she was a little excited to see Ash's world, she always enjoyed seeing new places. Also meeting his King and showing she would be a service to him with Ash any time would be a slap in Lucifer's face. She softly took Ash's hand into hers as she stood silent now beside him.

Cedric took a deep breath, slightly smirking at what Rebecca said then turned to look the Goddess in the eyes. Unflinchingly staring back into her endless gaze, he spoke. "That was all I was asking for. A purpose, a reason. I follow no one blindly. I take orders from no one without good reason. Instead of affronting me or my honor this one could have just explained. A good explanation goes a long way. I' ll admit I'm torn about humans. On the one hand yes, their life span is very short to ours, but on the other many of them have slaughtered our kind. Even as fragile as they are, they make up for it in numbers. I'll protect this one though, after all I was raised by Michael and I'm more than a mere bloodthirsty war monger." He slowly released his grip on the pommel of his blade and sighed crossing his arms, before flaring his wings and settling them over his shoulders like a cloak. He doesnt move from where he was standing but rolls his neck sighing as his bones pop slowly. "You said you were an emperor? You may be here, but you arent mine. Just remember that and all I've mentioned before and we should be able to work together...cordially at least."

Kayla looked at all of them as they were fighting sighing softly, she knew she was no match to any of these creatures. "Cedric I promise that I will do my best not to need your help, but I also promise you can kill any of the fools that come here with Jericho." She looked at him smiling weakly trying to calm things over.

"To answer your question Cedric about the realms, consider this. Vampire Island is considered the norm: time is linear, magic flows freely, and all things considered it is a stable and normal place. Now, even though you flow to this land, magic and time are non-linear and somewhat subjective. Take my children for example..." Lao pointed to his children with a smile. " Had we lived on Vampire Island, they would still be children, subject to the rules of the island. However, when the Brood Mother and I built this island, it was built over a powerful leyline of magic. It IS the very nature of this island, and it allows for our children to grow and mature quickly into young adults. Once they are of age for the Rite of Passage, their speedy growth is halted in order to resume normal growth like the rest of us. As a result, you will not find many yound dragons here. This part of our land is lost on you since you are an adult, though should you and Sasha sire a brood you will understand. Also, magic here entwines with a dragon's very being, more so than usual. This is another aspect of this land that separates us from others, hence why I call it a different realm. Sebastet's Tower is different from here, though she would be better able to help you with that. Now, any other questions Cedric? If not, then go to the island."
Arden had assumed his dragon form and approached Kayla, laying down before her. His gems began to fuse into his metallic skin, changing his color from platinum white to variety of color and coating him in a hard shell. " Hop on Kayla. I hope you're ready: this is going to become a very hellish conflict."
