The camera crew just carries out the dead Kay and drops in a new Kay understudy? gonk I hope he knows his lines. >_< XD its always easier to get out of dangerous circumstances during the break. *waits for the commercial break music signal* *throws chainsaws at Terry* emotion_awesome *stops them then throws them to the side (and of course turns them off)* Wow, it works. eek Don't look so surprised. lol

Nothing has been altered or manipulated. eek Where'd the extra square come from? o.o well that's the part that makes sense. the yellow shape and green shape have a 3square/2square relationship that makes the gap. but the fact that no area has been lost creates the confusion XD The trick here is that the blue and red triangles have different side ratios, so they have different angles to the hypotenuse. The top 'side' of the big triangle isn't actually a straight line, and the triangle isn't a triangle. If you shaved the inequal top off of the bottom one, the shavings would fit into the missing square. Tricky math! blaugh These properties can carry over to all kinds of apparent optical illusions! ^_^
