Yukiko reached into her pouch again and removed another scroll. This scroll was wraps with a purple ribbon and held the sign of genjutsu on it. She unrolled the scroll lightly and placed it on the same rock that she had placed the scroll before. It was now time for her to learn a few genjutsu techniques; which would be useful for providing cover or even quickly moving from location to location. Yukiko slowly began to read the first jutsu on the scroll; the mist technique. This technique would be a move that she would use in combination with the jutsu that succeeded it on the list, which was the continuous fog technique. But she would have to learn this move first. Yukiko read the description as well as the requirement for the genjutsu. She practice the hand seals a few times as she continued to read down to the chakra requirement section. After she read through it she was ready to preform the genjutsu. Yukiko formed the needed hand seals then added the needed amount of chakra. A clone of Yukiko was created, the clone ran off to the side towards a vacant area and jumped. Once the clone jumped it exploded in a fog of mist. [ MT: 1 / 1 ] The fog still lingered in the air which for Yukiko was the perfect set up the next genjutsu on the list; continuous fog technique. She quickly rushed through the descriptions fearing that the fog would dissipate before she finished the genjutsu. In her rushed she once again missed a hand seal. She quickly formed the hand seals that she had notice on the paper, then added the same amount of chakra as she did to the fog technique assuming that they would work on the same amount of chakra. [ CFT: 1 / 3 ] After noticing the fog continuing to dissipate she looked back to the scroll and began to reread it. She was attempting to rush through it quickly again as she repeatedly look up to make sure that the fog was still lingering. Once she had completely memorized the hand seals she felt that she was ready again; but just like before she had forgotten to look at the chakra requirement section again and was going to attempt to use the same amount of chakra as before. She quickly formed her hand seals and added the same amount of chakra as before, just like the first time nothing happened. [ CFT: 2 / 3 ] She looked up again, realized that she had failed once again for the second time in a row; with the fog now almost completely faded she would have one more shot to attempt to combine the this jutsu with the previous one. She knew she had preformed the hand seals correctly which only left one area to make mistakes in, the chakra requirement. She quickly read through the chakra requirement section it wasn't till then that she realized that she was never adding the correct amount of chakra. Yukiko looked back up; this would be her last chance. She quickly formed her hand seals then added the corrected amount of chakra in order to activate the genjutus. Six clones are created; once created Yukiko simple released the genjutsu. She then wrapped up the scrolled and put it back into her pouch. [ CFT: 3 / 3 ]

▣Kumogakure▣Genin▣Taijutsu▣Puppeteer▣Iron Sand▣ Yuushirou grinned at the question. So the man was here for something. Information maybe? But it sounded as if the man wanted to recruit him for something. Interested in what the man had to offer, Yuushirou replied with an even bigger grin than before. "Well, I would say so far I'm specializing in the art of Taijutsu. I haven't had a chance to practice my Kugutsu but that is also something I wish to aspire in." Yuushirou hoped it was enough to satisfy the man's curiosity but just in case it wasn't, there was one more thing he could tell him but not yet. It was the ace up his sleeve and he didn't want to reveal it just in case Satoshi were to actually be an enemy.

Yukiko slowly walked her way back into the academy. It only took her a few minutes before she emerged from the academy building and back onto the training ground with two new scrolls which was secured in her pouch. She made her way back to spot which she had been training earlier before taking on of the two scrolls out of her pouch. It held the maruton symbol on the scroll; this would be her next element of study. Just as she had done before, Yukiko opened the scroll and laid it on the rock so that she would be able to practice while still being able to read the scroll. Just as before the jutsu would ascend in difficulty as she read her way down the list. The first jutsu on the list was Magic cloak of Invisibility technique. Yukiko read through the jutsu requirements; she pulled out cloth from her a pouch. She simple pressed up against the wall and held up the cloth; it had seemed that she was completely gone from the area. She soon moved the cloth and put it back into her pouch. It was a rather simple move but she was sure she would be able to find a good application for it. [ MCIT: 1 / 1 ] Yukiko turned her attention back to the scroll and read down the next the jutsu, which was the body flicker technique. This technique would allow her to rapidly move from area to air; almost like a form of teleportation. This would be a rather useful jutsu; the first thing she began she did was carefully read through the technique requirements. After reading she realized that it wouldn't take much to learn this move, but a few tries. The hand seals were rather easy to remember, but she would need to get the chakra requirements correct for the technique to work. Yukiko preformed the needed hand seals then attempted to add the correction amount of chakra; her hope was to shift locations to a nearby tree, but it wasn't the chase as she hadn't used enough chakra to activate the jutsu. [ BFT: 1 / 2 ] As she noticed that the jutsu had not been done correctly she turned her attention to the scroll again. After rereading the jutsu requirement over again she paused. It was a short pause in which she gather her stray thoughts and pushed them to the side, she needed to focus at the tasks at hand. She took a deep breath before preforming the hand seals again, but this time she added the correct amount of chakra needed to activate the jutsu. In that instant Yukiko's position was covered with a thick mist as she seemed to teleport in the nearby tree. She jumped down from the tree and made her way back over to scroll reading down the next jutsu on the list. [ BFT: 2 / 2 ] The next jutsu on the list was the hidden mist technique. This would be another useful technique that Yukiko could add the her repertoire. This was the second and final D rank, non-element jutsu that she would practice. She read through the description of the jutsu slowly then read through the chakra requirements. After finishing that section, Yukiko rushed herway through the need hand seals and in her rushed confused one of the necessary seals. She believed that she would be able to complete the jutsu and was ready to give it a try. Yukiko quickly formed the hand seals which she believe to be the correct ones then added her chakra. [ HMT: 1 / 2 ] She waited for a while before deciding that the jutsu had not been activating. As she had done before, Yukiko looked back to the scroll reading everything over very carefully to discover that she had once again made a mistake. She read through the needed hand seals three times, then spent a few minutes practicing the hand seal before she was ready to try to activate the jutsu again. She formed the needed hand seals correctly, then added her chakra; activated the jutsu. Once activated the academy area became surrounded in a thick fog. She waited a few seconds before releasing the jutsu. [ HMT: 2 / 2 ] Yukiko turned her head back to the scroll continuing on in her reading. The next jutsu on the list was the sprinkling needles technique. By throwing a wagasa into the area after preforming the hand seals the user could shoot senbons from the umbrella then control the senbons by manipulating there chakra. This combined with the mist technique would be an extremely effective maneuver. She began to read through the jutsu's hand seal requirement as well as the the chakra consumption. She grabbed a nearby wagasa and threw it into the air; Yukiko believed that she would get this jutsu down in one try, but what she hadn't realized was that she didn't throw the wagasa high enough. She was able to form the hand seal correctly, but as she attempted to add her chakra the wagasa came down and hit her lightly on the head; the sudden hit breaking her focus and slightly scaring her. She staggered forwards a little and slightly rubbed her head as she picked up the wagasa again. [ SN: 1 / 2 ] Yukiko picked up the wagasa again; she was sure that she would have preformed the jutsu correctly if she had thew the wagasa high enough. But Yukiko still decided to reread the scroll again, just in case she had missed something the first time or even had gotten confused. Once she was finished reading, Yukiko was ready to try again. She took a deep breath as she threw the wagasa high into the air then quickly formed her hand seals; immediately after adding her chakra to activate the jutsu. The wagasa suddenly began to hover in the air; then it began to spin in a clockwise motion. As it spun, it began to release senbons from all sides; Yukiko used her chakra to direct them all towards the wall before cancelling the jutsu. [ SN: 2 / 2 ] She was now ready to start in on the next jutsu on the list. There were two jutsu left on the scroll which she hadn't yet learned and all of them were rather difficult to preform and because of this were given the ranking of B. It would be a rather daunting task, but Yukiko was sure she could do it. The next jutsu on the list was the poison mist technique. In a sudden hast to learn the jutsu, Yukiko carelessly read her way through the scroll missing many important articles. She was simply excited, she could think of so many ways that this technique could be using in combat situations. Yukiko then stood back, looking off into an area uninhabited by anyone else to make sure that no one could get hurt. Yukiko quickly and sloppily formed the hand seals which she believed were correct for this jutsu; then added the wrong amount of chakra. Needless to say the jutsu was not activated. [ PM: 1 / 4 ] Her first failed attempt didn't bother her to much as she was growing accustomed to not preforming these jutsu on the first try after all they were B rank techniques. She was still in much of a rush and could only ready carefully though the needed hand seal section before rushing her way through the rest. She turned back to same location as before and took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before preforming the needed hand seals. This time they were the correct ones needed but she still added the incorrect amount of chakra to activate it. [ PM: 2 / 4 ] This time she seemed a little worried, it seemed that she wasn't getting this jutsu down at all. Yukiko turned her attention back to the scroll and reread it very carefully. It was only after she finished rereading it that she noticed her past mistakes, she hadn't been adding the correct amount of chakra. Knowing her past mistake, Yukiko was now ready to give the jutsu another try. She turned back to empty space again and formed the needed hand seals then added her chakra. Although the amount of chakra she added to the mixture was close it wasn't close enough to activate the jutsu and as a result the jutsu was once again not activated. [ PM: 3 / 4 ] Yukiko paused as once again she was faced with another failure, but every attempt only brought her closer to success; she could feel it. Once again she turned her attentions to the scroll rereading it once again to make sure that she had gotten everything down correctly. This time she would do it correctly for sure. She turned back to wall and took yet another deep breath and slowly exhaled as a way to calm herself. Once she was ready, Yukiko quickly formed the needed hand seals and added the correct amount of chakra; activated the jutsu. She opened her mouth a little and from it shot a stream of poisonous purple mist. She let the stream go for only a few seconds before she stopped; then she waited for it to dissipate before she turned her attention back to the next and finally jutsu listed on the maruton scroll. [ PM: 4 / 4 ] The final scroll on the scroll was a technique as difficult was the one before it, the shadow clone technique. This was undoubtedly one of the best cloning techniques that she could learn. Learning this move would also have many applications, even a few in the course of every day life; simply thinking about it got Yukiko excited again, but it was important that she kept herself calm so that she wouldn't rush through the scroll again and make the same mistakes as before. She slowly read her way through the description of the shadow clone technique. The hand seal was easy to understand, but the chakra consumption was something that seemed a little trick. Yukiko lightly shrugged, the chakra consumption would be something that she would have to work out as she went a long. She quickly formed the hand seal need then added a low amount of chakra; needless to say the jutsu did not work. [ SCT: 1 / 4 ] Yukiko slightly rubbed her forearm as she turned her attention back to the scroll. She knew that the hand seal was correct but maybe if she read closer she could fine out more information on the needed amount of chakra. Even though she read the scroll over again she still couldn't understand how much chakra to add, so she would simply have continue with her last method. She once again formed the hand seal then added a amount chakra; this amount was higher then the amount before. A cloud of smoke appeared, but when it dissipated a lifeless clone of Yukiko layed on the ground. As well as life less, the clone was completely colored grey. [ SCT: 2 / 4 ] Yukiko dispelled the clone before she paused; although she hadn't completely activated the jutsu the lifeless and colorless clone was a sign that she was getting closer. She didn't really feel as if she would need to read the scroll again and instead she would try it again and again; each time raising the amount of chakra until she preformed the jutsu correctly. Yukiko took another deep breath before getting ready to preform the hand seal; this would be her third try. Yukiko quickly formed her hand seal then added her chakra, making sure to add more then she added in her previous time. Once again another cloud of smoke appeared then quickly dissipated to reveal another lifeless clone of Yukiko, but unlike the clone before this one had color. The color scheme was identical to Yukiko, an exact replica; excluding the lifeless part. She watched the clone for a while before dispelling it. [ SCT: 3 / 4 ] She was now more energized then ever; she was so close to properly preforming the shadow clone techniques. She looked back to the scroll for a final time. She read though it quickly rolled up the scroll; she was sure that she would be able to preform the jutsu now. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath then exhaled slowly before opening her eyes again. Yukiko formed the hand seal, but didn't add her chakra just yet; instead she paused. After a long pause she was ready, with the hand seal still formed Yukiko added the correct amount of chakra. Another cloud of smoke appeared and quickly dissipated; when it did three perfect clones of Yukiko stood patiently. The clones slowly looked around before smiling, then speaking to her. "It worked." The clones said before they dispelled themselves. Yukiko sighed happily, she was now finished with her maruton training for now and was ready to start her eiseijutsu training. [ SCT: 4 / 4 ]

Yukiko took a well deserved deep breath. She had been training rather hard today, but she wasn't quiet ready to stop; she still had so much more to learn. Yukiko reached into her pouch and pulled out another scroll, this one was marked with the medical symbol. She didn't open the scroll right way; for a while she simple stared at it. The pause was long, but she did eventually open the scroll. She laid it down on the rock where she had rested the the previous scrolls. She would continue her training as she had did before, moving from the lower ranking jutsu to the higher ranks. The first jutsu on the list was Gantai no Jutsu; the bandage skill. This was a technique she could practice on herself. Wrapping bandages was a simple skill that almost ever shinobi had, but creating bandages from the surrounds was an impressive and important skill. Yukiko quickly read through the jutsu requirement. After reading it, she took a knelt down, dipping her hand into a nearby puddle to get some water. She poured it over her forearm then attempted to mold it into the shape of a cast with bandages. It held it's shape for only a few seconds before it broke down; the water simply running off of her forearm. [ BS: 1 / 2 ] Although she failed she was leading how better control her own chakra this made it worth-wild. She didn't bother to reread the scroll as she had done in previous attempts; she simply knelt back down and picked up another small hand full of water. She would give this one more shot; hopefully this would be the final try at this. She lightly poured the water onto her forearm again; then applied her chakra in order to mold that water into a make shift bandage. It took a while for the water to solidify but eventually it did. After this Yukiko release the jutsu and turned her attention back to the scroll. [ BS: 2 / 2 ] She read down the next jutsu on the list which was Sansokyoukyuu technique also known as Oxygen Supply. For this she would need another person; or a clone. Yukiko quickly formed the hand seal before adding her chakra. A small cloud of smoke appeared, when it cleared a shadow clone of Yukiko stepped forwards. Yukiko turned back to her scroll and began to read it as the clone attempted to read the scroll too, by looking over Yukiko's shoulder. In order for her to practice this jutsu the clone would have to find a way to shut down the heart and lung section. The clone laid down using it's chakra to shutdown the heart and lung sections. Now Yukiko was ready to begin. She knelt down next to the clone; putting both of her hands over the clones chest. She closed her eyes as her aura lightly; the stray feathers in her aura dispersing around her as the wings of her aura seemed to reach extend out and flap lightly. Her she lightly began to manipulate her chakra into the body of the clone and attempted to massage the heart and lunges into working. But there was a problem, Yukiko didn't want to add to much chakra and end up over powering the jutsu so instead added a lower amount; but with such a small amount she wouldn't be able to reactivate the heart and lunges. [ OS: 1 / 2 ] She had no way of knowing that her jutsu was simply not working so Yukiko continued. Yukiko couldn't understand what she was doing wrong, but she would need to find out what she was doing incorrectly quickly. It didn't take long before she realized that the problem could have been a low amount of chakra. So what Yukiko did was continuously and increase her hoping that if she added more chakra she would be able to reactive the hears and lunges. This ended up working and as she used the right amount of chakra to activate; as she massaged the lungs and heart into working the clone suddenly opened her eyes and took a deep breath of air, almost gasping. As the clone lightly coughed, Yukiko stood up and helped the clone up to it's feet. She didn't dispel the clone, feeling that she would need someone to practice on for the other jutsus listed. [ OS: 2 / 2 ] The next jutsu on the list was Keksuki Gyouko. Also known as the blood coagulation technique, the user simply forces there chakra into to a wound then causing an acceleration in the coagulation, leading to clotting which would stop the wound from breathing. The clone reached in its pouch, retrieving a kunai. With the kunai in hand the clone proceeded to cut it's forearm. The cut was a little deep; Yukiko extended her hands over the clone of the forearm. She slowly injected her chakra into wound and attempted to speed up the clotting, but she didn't add enough chakra. The bleed didn't stopped, it just slowed for a few seconds before it continued to at its regular pace. [ BC: 1 / 2 ] It quickly became apparent to Yukiko that she was using an insufficient amount of chakra. This was something that she could easy compensate for; to get over this small problem, she simply used the same method as before; slowly increasing the amount of chakra that was being forced into the open wound. It didn't take long before the wound stopped bleeding and although the wound was no longer bleeding it was still opened. [ BC: 2 / 2 ] Yukiko turned her attention back to scroll. The next medical jutsu on the list was Jokyo Dokubutsu better known as poison removal technique. The clone picked a small plant and examined it for a few seconds before eating it. The small planet would cause a small amount of stomach poisoning; which would be enough for Yukiko to test her jutsu. Yukiko read through the description of the jutsu; making sure to pay attention to the needed hand seals and unfortunately again she didn't pay much attention to the chakra requirements. Yukiko looked to a small puddle and put her hand over it using her chakra to mold a orb of water. She lifted up the orb, but before she could proceed with the jutsu any further the orb of water lost it's shape and the water feel back down to ground. [ PR: 1 / 2 ] Yukiko pouted lightly then read through the scroll again, paying close attention of every detail of the jutsu; this it would work corrects. Yukiko used the same technique to pick up the water then gently pressed in against the clones stomach, forcing the water in through her pores. Once in she used the water to extract as much of it was she could, but there was still some left. She removed he water then allowed it to drop on the ground. [ PR: 2 / 2 ] She turned her attention back to the scroll again and continued to read down to the next jutsu on the list, which was Chiyute no jutsu also known as the healing hands minor technique. Yukiko would use this jutsu to help heal the cut that the clone had sustained when she attempting to master the blood coagulation technique. She slowly read through needed hand seals but skipped the chakra requirement, thing that she could add the same amount as before; she would soon find out that she was wrong. The clone pulled up its sleeve; exposing the cut on its forearm. Yukiko formed the hand seals then added the incorrect amount of chakra. She then put her hands over the cut, but after a few seconds of the wound not healing she decided to trying to reread the jutsu description. [ HH-M: 1 / 2 ] Yukiko turned her head bacl to the scroll reading it over and over until she had found her mistake. She hadn't added the right amount of chakra. This jutsu was of a higher rank then the others before so she would need to add more charkra to all jutsu from this point on. Now that she had discovered her mistake she decided to read though the description one final time before attempted to preform the jutsu again. The clone extend its forearm once more and pulled up it's sleeve. Yukiko quickly formed the hand seals then added the correct amount of chakra. Her chakra began to take the form of a ball, Yukiko pressed the ball against her forearm and as she did the wound began to heal itself. It was quiet the impressive sight. It seconds the wound was completely healed this showed Yukiko that her jutsu had worked. [ HH-M: 2 / 2 ] Five eiseijutsu down and three more to go. Yukiko turned her attention back to the scroll again; the next jutsu on the list was Ondochousetsu better known as the temperature control technique. The user would be required to infuse there own chakra with the body of the patient in order to raise or lower there body temperature. Yukiko read through requirements of the jutsu, but she didn't bother to pay close attention to the details. The clone laid down in front of Yukiko as Yukiko knelt down. Yukiko preformed the correct hand seals, but accidently repeated one seal then attempted to add her chakra before putting her hand over the clone. She attempted to raise then lower the body temperature of the clone, but she was soon told by the clone that the jutsu didn't seem to be working. [ TC: 1 / 2 ] Her first attempt at the jutsu was met with failure, but she didn't let it bother her to much, she would simply reread the scroll and fine her mistake. This time as she reread the scroll she practiced her hand seals; she reread the scroll about three times in total. Even though she had reread the scroll she still couldn't figure out her mistake, but she finally decided to try it again. Yukiko once again formed her hand seals, but this time she didn't make the mistake of repeating any hand seals then she added her chakra. She put her hands over the clone, forcing her chakra into her body and began to raise her body temperature. As the temperature of the clone began to increase she began to breath heavily as Yukiko put her hand on the clones forehead then throat she could tell the jutsu was working. Now, it was time for Yukiko to lower the temperature of the clone. It took her a little bit longer to siphon off the excess heat, but she eventually brought the clones temperature back down to a normal standing point. [ TC: 2 / 2 ] She was almost finished with her eiseijutsu training for now; with only two jutsu left on the list she knew the last two would be rather complicated. Once again she looked back to the scroll reading down to next list, the next jutsu on the list was also very important and would help the clone get over the small amount of poison still left inside of it; Kigusuri Souzon other wise known as Medicine Creation technique. It was self explanatory, the user, with the help of a guide create an antidote for a poison. In this case Yukiko would create a antidote for the stomach poisoning. Yukiko continued to read down until she reached a small list of starter antidotes; on this list was also the antidote to the stomach poisoning and luckily for her, all of the ingredients were close at hand so she wouldn't need to go far. Yukiko first made her way around the training arena to pick up the ingredients then made her way back to the scroll. She sat down and pulled a small collapsible bowl from her pouch before putting in the ingredients and slowly mushing them into a paste like material. Unknown to her she missed an ingredient; Yukiko then feed the paste like substance to the clone, but only to relieved that she had missed an ingredient. [ MC: 1 / 2 ] After she relieved Yukiko worked quickly to added the missing ingredient into the paste like medicine. Then to double check she decided to grab a little bit more of the previous ingredient; making sure to add all of the ingredient she had collected this time. Once again she mushed the ingredient into a fine paste before feeding the completed medicine to the clone in order to help take care of the last few bit of poison left in the clones system. [ MC: 2 / 2 ] Yukiko looked back to scroll; this would the final eiseijutsu; this was a move advanced version of the Healing hand technique she had learned earlier. This would require the clone to once again cut itself, but in order to make the challenge worth while the cut would have to be much deeper then before. Yukiko was now suddenly in a rush; when she was finished practiced she planned to apply for a few missions, that would also give her the chance to meet the Raikage. In her hast, Yukiko quickly read through the scroll; skipping over a few hand seals as well as miss interpretation the chakra requirement. The clone pulled out a kunai then cut itself deeply; the blood quickly began to flow as Yukiko formed the hand seals then added the chakra. She put her hand over the wound, but nothing happened; she had used both the incorrect hand seals as well as amount of chakra. [ HH: 1 / 4 ] This didn't discourage her as all the jutsu from before had taken her to attempted to master. She felt as if she could preform the jutsu in the second attempt as she had did before and because of this she only skimmed through the scroll; she managed to realize her mistaken hand seals but not the fact the she was adding the wrong amount of chakra and because of this she would only fail to preform the jutsu again. She was ready to try again as Yukiko quickly formed her hand seals; correctly this time, but she still added the wrong amount of chakra and once again she failed to close the wound. [ HH: 2 / 4 ] Now Yukiko was beginning to get a little discouraged, as well as a little panicky; the clone's bleed wasn't slowing down and with such a deep cut the clone would soon disappear, but Yukiko was looking at it from the stand point of a patient; with so much blood loss the patient would soon go into hypovolemic shock. Yukiko once again skimmed through the scroll in a quick hast, but this time she noticed that she rank of this jutsu was higher then the ones she had learned before. She would make another mistake though as she didn't check the exact amount of chakra needed. She once again quickly formed her hand seals then added a bit more chakra then before. Her hands glowed brightly for a few seconds but then fizzled out; she couldn't even hold it up long enough the heal the wound a little. [ HH: 3 / 4 ] At this point the patient would began to show signed of hypovolemic shock. Yukiko quickly looked back to the scroll and read through the chakra requirement section as she knew she had done everything else correctly. It wasn't till then that she found her small mistake. Now she was ready to make her fourth attempt, this would also be the last chance that she would have to save her patient. Yukiko took a deep breath and closed her eyes lightly and cleared her mind. She then quickly formed the need hand seals then added the correct amount of chakra. Yukiko's hands began to glow as her aura slowly formed around her. Parts of her aura began to seperate taking the form of feathers. As they fell on the wound it quickly began to heal; the healing was much faster then before and almost in seconds the deep wound was completely healed. [ HH: 4 / 4 ] Yukiko was now finally finished with her training; or at least as much as she could do now without the help of someone else. Yukiko rolled up the scroll then gave it to the clone; the clone took the scroll back into the academy. After returning the scroll the clone was release leaving a small cloud of mist behind. Yukiko lightly brushed herself off as she was now ready to meet the Raikage; hopefully there were missions that she would be able to accept. She then headed off the kage tower, hoping to put her training to good use.

Zero smiled as he stood up, gathering his things and putting the large blaze on his back. He didn't exactly like this big blade, in fact he would have rather had a small katana over it. That would be his second mission, to find a smaller sword. His first priority however, was different. His first priority was to find the Kage and get put on a team. And with that thought in his head, the boy left the dojo.

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Blood Red Sparrow ~ Kumogakure ~ Jounin ~ Samurai ~
Chakra Pool: 405 ~ AC: 14450 ~ Ryo: 4,600 It was the day after she had been to the office with Yuugao and had the girl on her team. It was too late to do anything yesterday though, so Suzume set a time where Yuugao and Maemi would come to the dojo to train. Of course the red head herself needed to train so she would be practicing new techniques herself. Either way, Yuugao knew the time and she had sent a message to Maemi so that he would know there was a set time to practice as well.
Having arrived first, Suzume set her things on one of the benches near the wall before going into the other room to get the scrolls for her own training. Two of the styles she would learn dealt with using a singular blade, the other was more stereotypical shinobi techniques such as smoke screens. Yet they would be useful for blocking techniques that would track her through chakra and such. While she was waiting, she decided that she would master the first stage of each of these new bukijutsu styles.
---------
Looking through the scrolls, Suzume decided to learn Joorai Toorima's stage one first. There was only one technique and it was called Tabi Shift. It would be simple enough to learn and it would be helpful to make accurate shifts and turns. This was all too easy for her to learn, she knew how to move and to simple drift and shift was child's play. Subtle shifts with high accuracy and little trouble to move, Suzume moved quite easily and gracefully and this increased maneuverability would help her in battle. Considering how easy this technique was to learn, Suzume picked it up right away and could shift and drift this way and that as she moved without disruption in her movements. Satisfied that she had the technique down, the red head came to a stop before moving back to the bench where she left the scrolls. One stage down, two more to go.
[Post 1/1 Learned Tabi Shift]
The next first stage she would learn would be from the Kiss of Flesh and Steel style. It was a rather new style and it was quite interesting since it incorporated both bukijutsu and taijutsu. Not to mention the style seemed quite wild since the user could give the appearance that they were unskilled. Suzume had thought that it would be useful to take an opponent off guard with something that seemed undisciplined. Looking over the three techniques, Suzume memorized what she had to do before setting the scroll aside, taking a bokken from the nearby wall mount, and walking over to a nearby training dummy. This bokken came in a sheath to really simulate sword drawing techniques. She drew the bokken from it's sheath and delivered two horizontal slashes across the dummy's chest, smooth and simple.
[Post 1/1 Learned Pressing Lips]
To follow up the Pressing Lips technique, Suzume delivered one relaxed, horizontal slash before returning her bokken to her sheath. It was quite a simple technique and obviously it paired up well with the Pressing Lips attack. Two slashes, back and forth, then a final lash before returning the blade to the sheath. If anyone slow had done it, then the opponent would be able to dodge. yet with Suzume's speed, she was confident she could land all three slashes on a less speedy opponent. That was another technique down and there was only one more to go before she had mastered the first stage of Kiss of Flesh and Steel.
[Post 1/1 Learned Retreating Kiss]
This final technique was a little sneaky but it would be good for throwing off her opponent. Even though her right hand would appear ready to draw her sword and attack, she would instead either deliver a swift punch or an attack with the blunt side of her weapon, most likely the pommel. Suzume readied herself before the dummy, right hand on the handle of her blade and appearing ready to draw. Instead of drawing her weapon though, she turned, hips turning to help deliver more power as she delivered a punch right to the dummy's face. It was a quick move and a pretty good punch, a simple yet sufficiently effective attack. At the dummy titled back and forth, finally regaining it's center, Suzume turned and went back to the bench to take a look at the third style she would be learning.
[Post 1/1 Learned Kiss on the Cheek]
Tetsu no Ryu would be a bit difficult, merely because of the strict emphasis on following the ways of Bushido. Yet... she already lived in such a way, didn't she? She had honor, showed loyalty, it wouldn't be that hard for to adapt to, wouldn't it? With this set in mind, Suzume looked over the first stage before setting the scroll back down and returning to the training dummy. With the bokken sheathed, she stood before it and prepared to draw her sword. She moved fast, a blur as she drew her sword and slashed the dummy right across it's chest. Then in the next moment she sheathed her sword once more. Fluid, simple, and effective at surprising the opponent, on to the next technique.
[Post 1/1 Learned Iaido]
The next technique was a more defensive maneuver that would give her opportunity for other attacks. It was a matter of finding the point of an opponent's attack, disturbing it with a quick jab of her weapon from below, then using the flat of her blade to guide it above her head so she could move in and push the opponent away. To learn this technique, she called to another, random shinobi inside the dojo to help her. He agreed and grabbed a bokken to attack her with. He came in with an attack to her right, so Suzume's bokken came up to disrupt his attack. Then the flat of her bokken directed it over her head before she moved in. Her free hand placed itself on his chest and pushed him away before she sheathed her sword. Now that she had finished with that technique, she thanked him for his help and let him get back to his own training.
[Post 1/1 Learned A Decade of Peace]
The last technique to learn was a simple, power move that would give more force to her cut. She moved back to the training dummy she had been using but stopped a short distance away. Since this technique was meant to utilize the force gained from attacking from above, she would have to jump. Suzume moved forward two steps before jumping up into the air. Her sword was already drawn and raised above her head, as she moved down towards the dummy, she brought her bokken down on it's shoulder. The force was noticeable, it lurched to the side where it had been hit on the shoulder before wobbling back and forth. Landing on her feet, Suzume sheathed the bokken before returning to the bench she had set her things down. Taking a seat, Cloud right next to her, she waited for her students to show.

Chakra Pool: 405 ~ AC: 14450 ~ Ryo: 4,600 Having already spotted Yuugao and her kangaroo earlier as she trained, Suzume was pleased to see the girl begin training. She had watched them when possible and was pleased to see how well they were doing and how hard they had been training. It was a shame Maemi had not yet arrived, she had not seen him in awhile and she wanted to see if he had progressed since then. Isamu had not stopped by either, so that meant he was probably training with the Raikage. Still, one student was better than none at all showing up.
Just as she was preparing to resume training, Yuu and Asa had approached her. The girl spoke with plenty of conviction and it was obvious just how committed she was to her training, as was her animal partner. It was interesting to hear that the kangaroo used a different style than his partner but Shigure Soen was a good style to have none the less. Smiling softly,, Suzume replied "I did watch you train, Yuu. I was pleased to see you kept right at it no matter what. As for Asagao, I can teach him a bit of Shigure Soen right now before I start on my own training again."

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Blood Red Sparrow ~ Kumogakure ~ Jounin ~ Samurai ~
Chakra Pool: 405 ~ AC: 14450 ~ Ryo: 4,600 It really was amazing how disciplined the kangaroo was. Then again, he was an animal partner to a tamer. Cloud had been trained in the basics but he really hadn't been taught anything yet. Although Suzume did wonder if she could not teach him to hold a tanto in his mouth and use it. Speaking of Cloud, the german shepherd was, as usual, bored stiff with watching them train, so he was lying next to the bench and taking a nap.
Standing, Suzume looked to Asagao, finding it strange she would be teaching an animal. Although really it would probably be the same as if she were teaching a human so she would focus on the kangaroo as she spoke to him. "Very well. It would be best to tell you now, Asagao, that the Shigure Soen style is not like any regular sword style. I don't mean simply that it's style is different from any other, but that it has strict guidelines for learning it."
The red head paused, giving Yuugao time to translate what she had just said before continuing. "This style began with one man, and as he trained and taught others, each new student added their own, new forms to the style. Which is a good thing to do since this means the style does not stay stale and outdated. Any new forms too weak or without a student to pass on, usually fade from existence, while the successful new forms add and strengthen Shigure Soen. To summarize, this is a style that is always changing and adapting, a perfect and flawless style in that aspect."
Again she paused before continuing "Aside from encouraging new students to add their own forms to the style, there is but one rule that must always be abided by when one wishes to learn the style. To prove yourself a worthy successor, you need only see each technique once and remember how to use it from then on. Which is to say, I will only show you each technique once. If you cannot remember it and perform the technique, then you cannot be considered a worthy successor and you cannot be shown any more techniques."
As she let this translate and sink in, she walked out onto the dojo floor and turned back to face Asagao. "Now. If you are ready, I will show you the first technique of Shigure Soen." Drawing her bokken from it's sheath, she stood at the ready "Axel of Rain." While she kept her bokken at the ready, Suzume's body was relatively relaxed as she began to move. First she appeared to move to the left, yet feinted and instead dashed to the right. She did this a couple more times, feinting right then going left and vice versa. This technique was meant to throw an opponent off and wait for an opening. She went slow enough and appeared to be eying an invisible opponent, looking for the perfect opening. Then when she spotted it, Suzume charged in, moving swiftly as she drew her blade back and then thrust it into the belly of her invisible opponent.
After her attack, Suzume stepped back and sheathed her bokken before stepping off the dojo mat "When you're ready, Asagao."

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Blood Red Sparrow ~ Kumogakure ~ Jounin ~ Samurai ~
Chakra Pool: 405 ~ AC: 14450 ~ Ryo: 4,600 It would be interesting to see an animal try and perform bukijutsu techniques. Normally sword styles were made and used by humans and there was certainly a difference in anatomy between a human and a kangaroo. Yet if Asagao was ready and willing to give it a try, then Suzume would do her best to teach him. Despite never having interacted with a kangaroo, she could guess from his movements that he was excited and ready to take on her lessons.
It was good to see the animal adapt to the style to his anatomy, since she was fairly sure it would be more difficult for him to move from side to side. If things worked out well, Asagao would most likely be the first animal ever to be a student of the Shigure Soen style. When he finally moved in for the thrust, the speed and power behind it was certainly not what one might expect from a human, which was, of course, a good and interesting thing to watch.
When Asagao spoke to her, Suzume looked to Yuugao for a translation. As she could hear and had already guess, the kangaroo was feeling a bit cocky at the moment. Now would come the real test to see if he could truly learn everything the style had to offer. "That was very good Asagao, but this next technique may be a little harder for you to learn." Walking back onto the training mat, Suzume drew her sword, letting her arm stay relaxed next to her body with the tip of the bokken pointing down.
As before, she did not use words to describe the technique, but instead went through the motions at a pace the kangaroo would easily be able to keep up with. Suzume focused water chakra around her bokken, putting in just the right amount of power for her technique. Then she swung her blade up, letting loose her chakra in a burst of energy. It was certainly flashy, the bang was enough that it would draw the attention of the enemy, thinking it to be an attack. The goal was not to do damage though, but to merely distract an opponent while the user evaded.
Sheathing her sword, she stepped back to give the kangaroo plenty of room to attempt the technique.

~ Suzume Kinjo ~ Blood Red Sparrow ~ Kumogakure ~ Jounin ~ Samurai ~
Chakra Pool: 405 ~ AC: 14450 ~ Ryo: 4,600 After she stepped off the mat, Suzume watched and waited for the kangaroo to begin. It seemed that this male could use chakra, a good thing since plenty of Shigure Soen techniques required it. Asagao formed the chakra, fire from the looks of it, and then let it loose. There was the flash and bang, then the kangaroo followed with a downward strike. Certainly that was a way to follow up the diversion and it was a good idea that made Suzume smile softly.
Glancing over towards Yuugao and said "He did the technique correctly, so there is no trouble. Plus that added personal flare is encouraged with this style." Looking back to the kangaroo, Suzume nodded to him "That was very good, Asagao, you pass learning Rolling Rain. Now, there is only one more technique in the first stage to learn, and it's called Misting Rain." When the kangaroo was off the mat so that she had room, Suzume stepped onto the mat and unsheathed her blade.
To stir up a mist of chakra, she did call upon her own elemental chakra as she raised her bokken above her head. Instead of striking straight on to hit an invisible opponent, she instead struck more to the right, which would normally miss an opponent. Yet as she swung down, her blade stirred up her water chakra, creating a mist of chakra that surrounded her before she moved back. This would help put some distance and give a bit of cover if needed. Sheathing her sword, Suzume stepped off the mat so that Asagao could give the technique a try.
