"I...she doesn't completely hate me?" Milly asked, looking rather confused. Sure, Ariae didn't hate Milly in the least, but she was good at leaving mixed impressions.

Somehow, Milly didn't find this hard to imagine. "what did she look like then? Somehow, I can't imagine that she's always been like she currently is."

Still finding herself curious, Milly asked, "Was her personality very similar to what it is now? Or was she different then?"

"Oh Ariae was very different compared to now. In fact she's really improved over the years. Back then she was admittedly quite a mess, always worrying about one thing or another, and she had almost no confidence. The only time she seemed okay was if I was around to keep her calm and comforted." Jaquel said.

Ariae was just now passing by the two. She offered Jaquel a hug and a smile, with little to no attention payed towards Milly.

((And since we still haven't gotten any word from Haru about his thoughts on a time skip to ressurect Steal My Way to Victory, should we just go ahead and do it? Or PM him first? I'd just feel horrible if we never really finished it, you know?))
