Marco yawned as he made his way to the Cafeteria for some breakfast. Charmander was by his side looking a little sleepy himself. Murkrow was not with them at the moment because he was still sleeping in his Great Ball. The avian pokemon had more trouble waking up in the morning due to him staying up so late (nocturnal pokemon). Marco would save some food for his Pokemon to eat later, but at the moment it was time to fill his and Charmander's stomachs. Pushing through the door, they arrived at the Cafeteria where some students were also lining up to get their breakfast. Marco joined them in line and thankfully he wouldn't have to wait too long to get his food since the line was moving pretty fast. The events from yesterday were playing in his mind and he still couldn't believe that he had a tattoo in his shoulder! The boy sighed fearing how his parents (or anyone) would react if they ever found out about the ink on his skin. He had no idea that the contract would cause this to happen, but apparently the tattoo was some kind of alarm. If the tattoo changed colors then it meant that Maria the ghost needed her energy replenished. He had accepted to help the ghost girl, but even he was worried about his future; would they receive any more tattoos? He sure hoped not. The other problem was that Skylar hated him which made things quite tense between them. Fortunately for him, Skylar had agreed to try and make this cooperation work. So long as they only focused on Maria and the Supernatural Club then things should be okay. In fact, just having Skylar say that she would try and be cooperative was a big step forward for him.
Skylar's privacy and personal space was very huge for her. He realized that while trying to help out he was just hindering their relationship. To Skylar, he was very intrusive and Marco noticed that once he gave her the space she needed then she was more cooperative. He didn't know for how long they would need to be working together, but he really wanted things to work out. Therefore, he would respect Skylar's space and make sure to not stand too close to her, per se. With these thoughts running through his head, he eventually reached the food and so he grabbed a plate. The breakfast was eggs, pancakes. sausages, and hash-browns! He poured himself some orange juice as well and he made sure to grab enough for himself and Charmander along with some bacon strips.
The boy and Pokemon smiled happily as they licked their licks before turning around to find somewhere to sit.
After her talk with Mr. Reyes, Iris took to it to heart what he said to her and decided to sit with her pokemon and talk to them. Which could explain her grogginess as she yawned. She couldn't even cover her mouth as she walked with her tray in her hands. At this point, her pokemon were doing more guiding her than just plain walking. The resulting talk established the move that Ling would learn and that she would start to focus on Bebe as well. Her size was not going to keep her from battle. She really needed to thank him when and if she saw him to today. After all, today was gym class.
"Yay...gym..." Iris yawned again as she made a couple of turns. Honestly, the fact she had been able to order and carry her food thus far was surprising considering that Iris looked like she was a seat away from sleeping. Surprising since she's a morning person usually. "I have to find a seat so I can eat my food and make my way to gym class," Iris said to herself. "Lead the way Bebe and Ling." The two pokemon nodded their heads and started to look for a place to rest. At least, Bebe was doing that. Ling was helping but then she set her eyes on a charmander and duty went out the window as Ling darted for the pokemon and boy.
"Wait up Ling...!" Iris, waking up more but still slugglish.
Ling was on a mission as she collided with the Charmander. Darling!!!
But look at all the stars! We've come so far. Even if we don't know where we are, It's gotta be somewhere great! Or am I just too tired to wink?

Yesterday had been a whirlwind of events. The scheduled battle with Cyril was today after class. Nirav wasn't nervous, as it was all for getting better and it was with someone he knew. The library was a mess and Nirav narrowly escaped some drama, but then he found his still unnamed Drifloon and Silvano in the woods! Last night was all so crazy.
Regardless of how the night went, he still had some projects to work on. The Entei paper was off to a good start, but Nirav hadn't thought much about the family paper. In theory, it was a lot easier. He just had to talk about his family and their pokemon, as well as his own: two subjects he knew quite a bit about. But his family weren't trainers or coordinators or researchers like a lot of his classmates. They were seamstresses and fishermen. Would that be ok for the project? Nirav thought about it on his way to breakfast.
As he entered the cafeteria, Nirav witnessed a small collision between a Ducklett and a Charmander, Iris and Marco right nearby the event. He ignored it, however, not wanting to have to talk to people he barely knew this early in the morning. So the boy, his two pokemon following behind him, grabbed some food and quickly took a position at the nearest empty table. He had gotten a plate primarily full of eggs and hash browns, as well as some food for Raja and the Drifloon. Raja immediately began to eat, hungry from last night's adventures. The Drifloon, at first, was more curious with the tiny balls of food. "It's safe to eat, don't worry."Nirav quietly told him. The balloon pokemon nodded its one head and began to eat as well. As the trio ate, Nirav's thoughts went more to the new pokemon. He still did not have a name. "We should probably give you a name soon... But what to name you?"The boy honestly wasn't too sure. But as he thought about it, the balloon looked around, taking in the academy cafeteria for the first time.

As one would expect, Holly had gotten little to no homework done that night. She had honestly felt a little bad that Maria ended up doing nothing either but it shouldn't be too hard just to slap something onto a paper. On the bright side, she had a lot of fun yesterday. Mostly due to the inhumane amount of pictures she took. Most of them were just of their pokemon at slightly different angles but she had also taken a bunch of Maria, her classmates and of course some selfies.
Holly was humming and looking through the pictures as she entered the cafeteria. Coco was still half asleep on her shoulders, but as they entered the mess hall, he perked up slightly, eager for something to eat. He had also only just noticed that Holly was not paying attention to where she was walking. Before she tripped or ran into somebody he decided to grabbed a pawful of her hair and yanked.
"Ow! Coco!" She yelled then whined, "You didn't need to do that! I knew what I was doing."
He did not believe that for a minute but settled back down on her shoulders. Holly pouted and reluctantly put the pokegear back into her bag. It was breakfast time, anyhow and all of her attention needed to be focused on food especially with gym soon after. After quickly fixing her abused hair, she hurried and grabbed a good stack of waffles and slathered on a good amount of syrup. She also made sure to grab an extra one with no syrup just for Coco.
It was still pretty early so there wasn't much students in the cafeteria, so for now she just settled at an empty table.

Tera bounced with a more than obvious spring to her step, more so than usual. The girl had woken up bright and early as per normal, so what was different? Well first off, for the first time in a long while, she ended a day actually accomplishing and understanding some of her homework! To be fair, it was an easy and simple task to do; find and record Pokemon in the area, but still! The girl had been struggling with keeping up with her classes, so this was a definite plus for sure! Secondly, today was finally the day they had physical education class! They seriously didn't have this class enough! In her eyes, any class without or with very little paper work to do was the best class ever!
Anyway... Fast forward to her arrival in the cafeteria! Upon entry the pink haired girl wasted no time and entered the line, eagerly eyeing the menu as she waited her turn. Flare and Hoppu were doing the same, though not understanding why their trainer was so enthusiastic about food. Coming out of the line with a tray filled to the brim with food for herself and her Pokemon, the Charizard girl was now on the hunt for a place to feast! Her eyes quickly caught sight of a free spot and enough for the three of them too! "Lucky!" As her group approached the free spot, she took notice of a familiar faces! Just as she was about to greet her fellow Charizard housemate and his Charmander, a blue duck Pokemon swiftly came at the latter. She was going to intervene, but the duck Pokemon didn't seem to have any ill intent towards the male Charmander and ultimately decided to leave them be, though she did wonder where the blue Pokemon's trainer was. "Well that's not somthin' ya see everyday, hehe! Mornin' Marco! This seat taken?" She asked the boy as she motioned her head to the seat beside his. Flare reflexively flinched when the water bird Pokemon had collided with Marco's Charmander. The female fire lizard wanted to wave hello, but he seemed preoccupied with the Ducklett and didn't want to be a bother and interfere with their time. Meanwhile, Hoppu was observing the green haired girl and a small flower holding Pokemon who seemed to be making their way towards him and his group before hopping off his trainer's head to eat the nuts that Tera had purchased for him, thinking that there was no need to tell them of any of this due to it being a matter of time before they met up.

Both trainer and Pokemon were distracted with their own thoughts so neither expected to run into a Ducklett. Technically, Ducklett ran into them and to be even more technical, Ducklett run into Charmander, but really she pretty much ran straight to the fire lizard with the intention of tackling him...with love? The fire starter jumped up both frighten and confused by the feathery body pushed against him. Marco was caught off-guard as well and nearly threw his tray into the air, but instead it just jumped a little. Nonetheless, the two friends received quite the shock which woke up them up from their somewhat sleepy state. "Ling?" Marco questioned since Iris's Ducklett was the only one that he knew, also it was the same pokemon that his Charmander lost to in the tournament. The Ducklett seemed to be concern with Charmander to pay attention to him, but if she was here then surely Iris was nearby.
"Iris?" when he turned to his side, he saw none other than Iris coming up to them. She was likely chasing after her Pokemon that ran from her to go see Charmander? Why would the duck pokemon want to see his lizard friend so badly? Iris looked sleepy which made Marco chuckle a little, but he held it in remembering that he hadn't spoken with Iris for a while. They were getting along during the festival, but it almost felt like those events were long gone now. Their everyday lives at the academy had returned with daily classes, homework, and the free days. He had one class with the green-haired girl, but he felt like she didn't want to talk to him (that was wrong, of course). Marco was conveniently near a table so he decided to set his food tray down before something else happened and he lost his food. "Hey there..."
Charmander was having a hard time trying to free himself from Ling's grip. He was obviously struggling, but the duck pokemon didn't seem to notice. The fire lizard wasn't sure what to do or how to stop this pokemon from being so closed to him. He finally just tried to push himself away, but Ling's grip was quite strong. However, Charmander caught the sight of Flare and his eyes changed into hearts. All the sudden his strength tripled and he moved away from Ling in order to go to Flare. In his excitement, he walked up close to Flare accidentally bumping his nose against her (it was very light tap). Charmander rubbed the back of his head sheepishly and waved at her saying his hello. The fire lizard was all over Flare as he asked how her morning was going and such, "Char char...chaarr char." His attention was fully on Flare now.
Meanwhile, Marco's attention turned to Tera who had arrived and seemed to be in very good spirits. "Hi Tera!" the black-haired boy replied with a bright smile on his face. He was genuinely happy to see the pink-haired girl since she was the first real friend that he made in the academy. She was special and Marco was always happy whenever he got the chance to interact with her. "Yes, actually, its taken by you," Marco joked a little since he was feeling more comfortable with Tera arriving. He then remembered that Iris was with them, but he wasn't sure what to do or say. He was a little embarrassed that someone saw him trying to be 'funny', but he really should pay more attention. "Do you want to join us?" he asked Iris and then turned to Tera for a moment wondering if she would mind Iris joining them.
Iris watched as her pokemon collided into a Charmander which could only be described as a glomp. She was obviously cooing and quacking in delight. Iris started at her pokemon as did Bebe. Slowly her sleepy mind made connections and started to click. If this chamander was the center of her affections that meant this Chamander belonged to a certain person. And that certain person was.....
Iris nearly flinched that person said Ling's name. Apparently, her presence surprised them both before he turned to look at Iris, saying her name. She was quiet, slightly unresponsive as she as looked at him and then back to her pokemon.
Darling hi! Did you miss me? I did.. Look look, I'm wearing a new ribbon today! Isn't it pretty? Ling was in bliss, not noticing how much the other pokemon was struggling until he was out of her arms and looking at the female Charmander that appeared when Tera did. If Ling hadn't been a water type, the glare and fury she was internally producing would had caused her to learn a fire type move at that moment.
While Ling's reaction to the newcomers was rather....violent; Iris just stood there. She was about to greet Marco when Tera had appeared. To be completely honest, Iris' knowledge had just barely scratched the surface. She wasn't a mean girl. Iris just knew her as the girl who Marco hung out with aside from Koru and who was very pleased to see. More than to see her. -That she figured- Iris started to feel out of place as Marco and Tera spoke to each other. The quip about how Tera was predetermined to be sitting with Marco made Iris see she was just a third wheel... an uninvited one at all.
Bebe had a downcast look at her trainer and Iris was making the gestures to back away from the two and find somewhere else to sit. The only thing that stopped her full turn was Marco asking her to join them.
"Me?" she said, finally speaking, "I don't know...I should really..." Iris was looking for an excuse but her pokemon had other plans. Bebe flew from Iris' side to twirl around Marco meanwhile Ling was not budging away from the two Charmanders. Apparently, she was in the middle of a staring eye contest but no one told Flare she was apparent of it. "Take my seat here apparently.." Iris said as she took a seat beside Tera but still a chair space between them.

Flare's eyes widened in surprise and confusion when the other Charmander had left the Ducklett's side to then approach her, even more so when their noses made contact with each other which prompted her to pat her nose to reaffirm that this really did indeed happen. When the male started talking to her, Flare could sense a threatening vibe emitting in front of her, near the area Marco's Charmander to be precise, though the male was blocking the source. A quick glance behind the male was all she needed to do to see the anger seething out of the water type and it was clear to her that it was directed at her, or at least mostly. Fear took over her feet as she hurriedly fled for her trainer's lap. And of course Hoppu was now observing this all develop, munching on his nuts like popcorn and thankful that this was not happening to him. She felt horrible for leaving the other Charmander hanging, but she feared the retaliation she was expecting from the blue bird Pokemon and didn't even bother to question what induced this confrontational reaction.
Tera snorted when Marco mentioned that the seat was hers, seating herself beside him. "Hehe! Sweet, don't mind if I do then~" As soon as she sat down did her Charmander lay on her lap. This took the pink haired girl by surprise, none the wiser as to what just went down and thinking that Flare was just as eager to dig in as she was! After giving her fire type Pokemon a full hash brown, her attention then shifted to the green haired girl Marco was talking to. "Yeah, you should totes join! Plenty of space and the more the merrier!" Tera chimed in when the boy invited her, taken a bite after the fact. The girl seemed awfully familiar, but she couldn't quite put her finger on where she recognized her from. The shy girl took up on the offer, but sat herself a seat further from her, making the Charizard House girl tilt her head and unintentionally stare and squint at the girl as she pondered her identity. 'Oh! She must be the Ducklett's trainer! Waitaminute,..' A Ducklett? Green hair? Dots began to connect in her head as she was slowly but surely figuring it out. "Oh! Oh! Oh! You're Iris! You're the one who won the Lamia tourney thingy!" The now excited girl moved a seat towards Iris, closing the gap between her and the other girl. "Congrats on the win! You looked pretty cool when you given the award! How big is the badge thingy? How did it feel when ya got it? How tall is Mocha Dia?" Her face approached the Iris' with each passing question, until she realized what she was doing. "Ah, sorry 'bout that! Got too excited, hehe!" Tera apologized as she quickly backed away from her.

Evelyn has spent all evening working on her assignments for history class. She had a good amount of the research paper going. Her family assignment had remained untouched however. She’d get to it before it was due and get it done. She had actually fallen asleep in the common room and it wasn’t until Yamask woke her up that she went upstairs to bed. She had crashed and burned after getting into her pajamas.
Falling out of bed the Kingdra dragged her feet in order to get herself dressed. Crawling down the stairs, Evelyn knew what day it was. P.E. day! She hated this day. However breakfast was first on her list despite her tired feet struggling to get her to the cafeteria. Luckily for her she was moving so slowly she had only managed to trip over her feet once, as opposed to her minimum two trip hazards per morning.
Arriving in the cafeteria, Evelyn rubbed her eyes before getting her breakfast. Finding a seat she collapsed into it. As it turned out the seat was across from Nirav. “Morning… hope you don’t mind me joining you.” She said before letting out a yawn. Blinking at the floating purple balloon, she slowly began to focus on it. “So you caught a Drifloon after I saw you in the library.”She said as she observed the floating ghost Pokémon. Suddenly she began to feel like she forgot something or rather someone. ‘Oh gosh… Yamask!’ She freaking out as she recalled what she forgot. Taking his pokéball out, she released her ghost type. “Sorry Yamask… I’m still half asleep.”She apologized before turning her attention back to Nirav and his two Pokémon.
“Yamask meet…” Evelyn began before pausing. ‘Wait a second…’ She thought before speaking.“Have you thought of a name for Drifloon yet?” She asked curiously. It hadn’t occurred till just then that she hadn’t asked that question. Yamask gave a small smile to the others as Evelyn mindlessly gave her partner some breakfast. The ghost was quick to float over and take his breakfast all but silently. At least she remembered to grab him food before the busy morning ahead.

As Nirav and his trio ate and Nirav thought about what to name his new pokemon, Eve plopped down in front of him. Nirav had been looking forward to a quiet lunch, but this seemed to never happen as he wanted it to. As much as he minded, at least Eve wasn't as loud as other people were. She didn't seem to be much of a morning person, else she'd be even louder. "It's, uh, i-it's fine,"Nirav quietly replied. It didn't take long for her to notice his new pokemon. "Uh, yeah. L-last night at the, uh, the grasslands." There were quite a lot of pokemon there, but there was something peculiar about the Drifloon in particular. Without warning, Evelyn brought out her own pokemon from its ball. Nirav honestly hadn't seen something like a Yamask before, so he scanned it. Yamask: The Spirit Pokemon. These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves. Each retains memories of its former life. It was certainly strange in a similar manner to Drifloon, but far less colorful looking.
Evelyn soon asked if his Drifloon had a name, to which Nirav shook his head. "I, uh, no. But, uh, I've been t-thinking about it."There wasn't anything out of the ordinary going on when they had met, but immediately after capturing the Drifloon, he brought them to Silvano. Yesterday night was just a whirlwind of events, none of which he really wanted to mention aside from Drifloon being caught."Uh, hopefully later today I will. Is, uh, i-is your Yamask from a-around here, or from your h-home?" The family project really got him thinking about his home. Was Evelyn from somewhere that had Yamask, wherever that was?

Marcus walked into the cafeteria feeling surprisingly social.The bad feelings of the night at the grassland were at the moment compartmentalized and buried. It wouldn't do any good to dwell on them and he still had other things to deal with. He had opted out of his usual walk through the grassland after seeing Kirsi and Koru there. The change in routine bothered him a bit but when he saw the bustling students in the cafeteria he found himself for one feeling slightly social. He quickly got in line and got some eggs and plain toast ( he never ate much for breakfast) along with some chai tea. He couldn't help smiling a bit when some students eyed his new team acquisition ( the ekans around his neck and shoulders) with mixed fear and apprehension. Marcus could have told them she was newly hatched and not lethally poisonous. Could have told them what his mom told him...that Ekans and Arboks kept the rattata population in check. How thinking they were bad could lead to them being hunted down like Absol had been. Could have told them loads of things but didn't bother. Instead, he shot out some texts while he waited for his food. If they didn't think ekans was anything but awesome, Marcus wasn't interested. He didn't need that kind of negativity in his life. ( he wasn't sure what that saying meant exactly but his older cousins said it a lot.) Okay maybe the run-in with Kirsi had left him in a bit of a mood. He quickly shook it off however as he left the line and noticed bothe Evelyn and Tera which brought his usual lopsided grin to his face. He waved at them wondering which of his friends he should talk to before he remembered he still didn't know what the homework for his afternoon was. Now he wasn't the best at homework..but wasn't it kind of important? With that thought in mind he made his way to the table Tera was sitting on, putting down his tray in front of the seat the girl had just vacated. "Mornin Tera did you get the Science and Tech homework.cause um..hehe..I kiiiiinda didn't" he said rubbing the back of his neck before he noticed he knew the others at the table...well kinda. "Oh hey Marco good mornin, sweet a flabebe those are awsome where'd you find her?...um..Haruno yeah?" he asid the last part with some questioning to it. He had a bit of a hard time remembering the green-haired girls' name. She had won the tournament thing...and he knew her last name from the last gym class where she had caught some heat from the dodgeball game. Where he met Eli.. He met Ray in gym class too come to think of it. Which reminded him...dude still had his Valiant. Phillip sat at his trainer's feet, eyeing the other pokemon with some level of interest. Why was the other duklett staring at the two fire-types like that? She was scary. The male charmander was also acting kinda weird...like some of his elder nest-mates during twitter-pated season. Flare was acting normal which meant shy. She didn't seem like she was enjoying being crowded. 'Ducklett' was all Phillip said waving to all three of them from where he sat at Marcus' feet. His trainer was always -usually- in a friendly disposition, and it had rubbed off on the water type.

The upshot of the morning was that Nirav didn’t seem to mind her joining him for breakfast. Evelyn didn’t know what she would have done otherwise. Move to another table probably. But she hadn’t noticed he was there until she actually sat down. Not that she didn’t notice him… just her brain didn’t catch up to her sight. Yeah, that sounded about right.
Hearing Nirav tell her he met the Drifloon the night before out at the grasslands, it made Evelyn wonder if there was more to it. Something told her there was definitely more of a story. However, she wasn’t about to pry into it since it was early and she wasn’t fully awake.“That’s some luck.”She replied, happy for him. Evelyn dug into her bag for her pokégear to scan it.
“Drifloon, the Balloon Pokémon. A Pokémon formed by the spirits of people and Pokémon. It loves damp, humid seasons.”
Drifloon were certainly a nicer ghost Pokémon when it came to entries. That’s when Evelyn noticed there was a text. Reading it she looked around before spotting Marcus as well.
Marcus Bennet Marcus: Psst. I see ya. xp You ready for more gym. Maybe we can actually finish the basketball game with Eli. Evelyn: I see you too. xp Can’t say I’m ready for anything… still too early. Maybe we will.
Evelyn looked back to Nirav as she closed up the device. She nodded at Nirav.“I’m sure you’ll think of a good name. You’re better at it then I am. I mean Yamask doesn’t even have a nickname.” She said sheepishly rubbing the back of her head as she dug into her bowl of floating O’s. “My father caught him for me while he was away on a trip in the Unova region. It was a pleasant surprise. There’s an old Relic Castle there which are ruins of the city built by one of the Princes from history class; truth and ideals.”She told him. It was kind of cool having a Pokémon associated with something they were covering in history class.
“Kind of cool if you ask me.” Evelyn added before saying. “So speaking of history how’s the assignments coming? I spent all night working on my report on Groudon.” Rubbing the back of her head she added.“I even managed to fall asleep in my house’s common room.” Yeah, she was dedicated to her work or rather her studies.

Nirav simply nodded as she commented on his luck. "Yeah," he quietly agreed. It definitely was some luck. The three were finishing their food by now, internally dreading gym class. Nirav hoped that the class would at least stay inside. He really didn't want to be going out in the cold more than he had to, especially with his battle later today.
Evelyn went into how she had met Yamask. Apparently her dad travels, perhaps for work, perhaps for fun, but he caught the Yamask in the Unova region. Nirav couldn't help but wonder what sorts of strange pokemon his father has seen on his trips. He talked about them sometimes, but he usually wasn't around long enough to show them. The S.S. Anne was gone all year, after all. "Y-yeah, uh, pretty cool," he said. He never thought much about how much ancient history could still be applicable and seen. All Nirav really knew was that compared to the fiction books in the library, it was a little boring. At least Entei was interesting to research. Not as cool looking as Suicune or Raikou though.
Evelyn began asking about the assignments. Apparently, she had stayed up all night working on her report on Groudon and fell asleep in the house lounge! It was quite a shock. Should he have done the same? Nirav was so tired from yesterday that he just went to bed as soon as he got back. Was he behind now? "Wow... I, uh, I h-have some research done for Entei. N-nothing written yet, umm.. Also been, uh, been thinking about the family project a little. Not s-sure what to do for that." Was he just going to go up there and talk about his family? His parents made sure he had a lot of pictures of everyone when he went away, which currently hung around his part of the room. Maybe he could make a little presentation from those? There wasn't a whole lot to really say; Nirav didn't come from a family of great trainers or researchers or coordinators like his peers did. In that aspect, perhaps the project would be easier, but that didn't eliminate the issue of talking in front of his classmates. He stumbled enough as it was just talking to Evelyn. How in the world would he talk before the entire class?

As Iris sat down, she was surprised by the response of Tera's avid approval of Iris sitting with them. It slowly was making Iris feel a little better about their current situation but she was sure it was just the other girl being nice. Iris started eating her food. Her gut was playing with her, going from not want food to being hungry for a second and third plate. Bebe was eating as well from the bowl Iris put out for her. She looked at the Ling. Unaware of the stare she had given to Flare to evoke the other's Run Away ability, she was watching as her pokemon smiled at Charmander before she pushed her bowl to share with Charmander. Ling started eating, with or without the cutie fire pokemon.
Iris was in the middle of her egg when she became very aware of someone staring at her. Iris took a glare to the side to see Tera squinting at her. And now she was back to not being hungry anymore. "Yes..." she asked, her voice showing some of her confusion and awkwardness. Suddenly, she was jumping up in surprise when Tera recognized her as the winner of the Laima tourney. Iris nodded her head. Unexpectedly, Tera bombarded with questions one after the other ranging from the badge to Mocha, the announcer for the tourney.
Tera backed away but Iris wasn't given a breath when another boy appeared and sat down with them. Immediately he talked to Tera and Marco. She didn't know much about him aside that he hung around the boy that Koru was chasing after at the festival. Iris just nodded her head once more when he said 'Haruno'. Now there four of them at a table and once again she was the odd one out since the boy seemed to know Marco and Tera but not her... this was a bad idea...
This was a bad idea...."This was a bad idea... she said to herself in a low as she stood up. She didn't look at the three as she picked up the now struggling Ducklett. Sorry. Sorry. Sorry... Her tray remained there as Iris quickly walked away from Bebe following behind the flustered girl. Meanwhile, Ling struggled to look at Charmander, reaching her wing out to him.
Darling!! Darling! Wait for me!! I'll see you again.. Save me some food!
Marco carefully presented his hands to Flabebe so that the fairy pokemon could have somewhere to land. He smiled at the tiny mon, Bebe was undoubtedly a cute pokemon and a big reason for that was her size. With both of her pokemon making the decision for her, Iris took a seat and while Marco was content that she accepted his offer he was also hesitant. The green-haired girl was acting kind of shy and the black-haired boy knew that this often happened whenever Iris was uncomfortable or among new people. He had seen her acting quite bold and express different range of emotions in the past, but times like right now she would revert back to the shy girl that he met on the first day. Hearing Tera's giggle took away his attention as he was happy to see that his joke worked and the pink-haired girl had even found it funny enough to giggle. She was quite alright with Iris joining and Marco didn't doubt that she would have opposed to having someone join them. However, in the future he would make a note to ask her nonetheless just to make sure that he wasn't being rude or considerate of her own feelings. The boy was always thinking about his friends and since at the moment Tera was his only true friend then he especially made sure to keep her in his thoughts.
Charmander tiled his head in confusion as he saw Flare's expression turn into a panic one. His eyes widen as he watch Flare scurry away to place herself out of the danger zone and into a more comfortable place; her trainer's lap. Charmander frowned feeling sad that Flare wasn't near him anymore, but why did she run away? He turned around and saw the Ducklett, did she do something to Flare? His didn't have much time to think about it since Marco was already seating down with tray full of food. He decided it was best to get started on his breakfast and he soon joined the others to eat. Murkrow had emerged from his Great Ball, he had enough sleep and was ready to wake up now and eat some food. "Get some while its still hot, but be careful," Marco warned his avian friend as he reached for a strip of bacon. In the past, Murkrow would fly all the way to the ceiling in a corner so that he could eat then he would dive down whenever he wanted to eat more. The Pokemon was more behaved now and he no longer flew away to eat, but remained on the table.
The meal was more or less eaten in silence, but Marco couldn't help and notice the way Tera was staring at Iris. He blinked until the pink-haired girl exploded with a series of questions after having a realization that Iris was the victor of the Lamia Little Cup Tournament some weeks ago. Yes, Iris did indeed won the tournament and she received some special gifts including a badge! The whole thing was quite incredible and Marco had even made it to the semifinals, but he did not rank among the top 3. Before he could comment on the conversation happening, a new person had arrived. Marco was immediately caught off-guard by seeing someone just sit down on the table without any previous introduction. The student was none other than Marcus who was apparently good friends with Tera. The boy was very easy going, but he still made Marco nervous especially with how easily he seemed to integrate himself into most situations. He was a sociable type kind of like Tera, but bolder. "Hi, Bennet..." Marco wasn't really sure what else to say since he was still getting used to the boy's presence. However, something happened that cause everything to stand still and it begin with Iris standing up.
She muttered something to himself and then started apologizing as she got up and left the table. The action was quite strange, but mostly concerning; did Tera or Marcus say anything that might have offended her? Marco wasn't sure, but he knew that Tera would never do something like that purposefully and Marcus had just arrived. Iris was acting shy so it could be that having this many strangers talk to her was making her nervous? Either way, Marco stood up with the intention to go after her, but that was until the bell rung. "We have gym class today," Marco remembered as he finished eating and then threw away his leftovers. "We have to go," the black-haired boy reminded the two people that remained. He turned to Tera, "Gym class can start soon and we don't want to be late." The pink-haired girl understood that and together they decided to leave for class. Marcus would likely be joining them as well since Gym was mandatory for everyone.
