A powerful roar shook the cavern, and a stone slab slowly split open to reveal a passage way. The first person to arrive through was Shen, the first born son. His bright red hair was braided behind him, and he was garbed in rust red dragon plate armor. Spikes liked his back, forearms, and legs, a long cape flowing behind his wake as an exotic looking nodaichi rested on his shoulder. The armor was his father's, built from his hide. The sword was the Dragon Slayer, a sword that Lao created for Ebony as a wedding present and was already wet with dragon blood. He took to one side of the cave and rested the blade before him, giving the gathering of people a solemn nod.

The second figure to walk through was a dragon, its scales a deep red with black streaks all over it. It smelled of brimstone, and its breath carried ash and smoke. The most noticeable trait of this dragon was the smoldering eyes; like staring into the pits of a volcano. This was Kane, the second son. He was growling viciously as he walked in and sat opposite of Shen, watching each person in the room like a wolf stared down its prey.

The third person to walk in was calm, a humanoid figure with metallic looking scales covering his body. A pendant hung around his neck, and every step he took gave off a soft chime. Various gems of different sizes and shapes floated around his body, giving off soft glows of various hues and creating a different chime with his steps, creating a beautiful harmonic melody as he entered the cave and bowed to the gathering of people. This was Arden, the third son. He moved to where Ebony was and sat by her, preferring to be near his mother for now.

The last figure was Lao himself, his rusted colored scales lining his body. He was clad in the armor thst the Brood Mother had given him, the greatsword strapped to his back as he walked into the room, his arms folded over his chest. It was a fine gathering of folk, and a grim smile crossed his lips as he walked into the center of the cave and cleared his throat.

" Greetings to all of you. Many of you know someone who has come under attack, or were attacked yourselves. There are many questions as to why there were attacks, and who is behind it. I've called you all here because I have an answer, and I fear that if I am right, we are all in incredible danger." He slowly began to pace back and forth, unsure how to proceed. "In another time, when I was considered young... We Primals walked this realm. The first born of the Brood Mother. I was the first born, and others came after me. We lived a life of relative peace with one another, respecting boundries and living our lives. However, there was one who was not content with this." Lao growled to himself. "His name is Nicol Bolas, the second born son. Unlike many of us, he had no desire for peace. He wanted power, and he desired to rule this realm uncontested. He warred with all of us, and succeeded in killing many Primals. Eventually, I was forced to confront him. Our battle raged for years, the damage was catastrophic. I won, but I couldn't bring myself to slay my little brother."

His eyes turned to the Brood Mother as if he failed her. "So we exiled him from this realm, barring him from ever entering this place. It did not sit well with him. These attacks, swiping at us in the cruelest ways.... it reeks of him. He seeks to re enter this realm and finish what he began. If he succeeds, he will destroy this whole world and consume its power. He seeks to destroy everything and everyone here, and we cannot let this happen. There is still time before his arrival, and now more than ever we must fight. I cannot do this alone, so I beg all of you for your support. If you commit to this, you commit your blood, body and soul to this fight. We will not stop until he is defeated. And this time....." He pulled the sword from his back and planted it into the ground. "I will kill him."

Lao stared at the gathering and raised his sword from the ground. "Does anybody have questions? More importantly, does anybody wish to back down? I understand if many are leery to stand up and fight a world eating dragon, but this is our home. I'll be damned if I roll over and let him take it from me." Lao stated and looked at the gathering. "Who will stand with me?"

That Ebony and their children would stand with him went without saying. But Karina, the softest of them all, blinked up at her father briefly before lowering her head in acceptance.

Gypsy simply moved to stand with Ebony, ignoring Kane's eyes as they moved over her hungrily thanks to her alluring and seductive demonic aura.

Blade and Anube joined her, the demon keeping his hand on Blade's shoulder so she only gave off her low growl instead of doing anything else. She wanted vengeance for her unborn twins and she was going to get it.

Ash gave Lao a respectful bow to give his acceptance, knowing he'd be representing his king in this fight.

Sebastet just gave Lao a look that said he had to be joking about her backing out of the fight, "The b*****d brought back my first fiance. Julius escaped alive," she stated simply then resumed her pacing but without the swearing this time.

The Goddess gave Lao a nod, "My brother and I are in this with you, Lao. You will not have to face him alone this time. I carry your sibling's powers within me," she told him softly then approached him to place one hand on his shoulder, transferring those powers to him, "Now they are yours. With it, comes their combined lifespans. He may injure you, but I give you my word that you will not die in this fight," she said in a soft whisper for his ears alone, giving him what hope she could.

She finally backed away from him and looked at Kayla and Karina, "Karina, help Cedric with Kayla. Look after her and help her when she needs it," she told the youngest of the dragons in a tender voice then smiled at her when she moved over to sit with the other girl.

"Kayla... You are here to save your Jericho... He will need you to save him. They will look after you. You have nothing to fear..." she assured the girl then looked back at Lao once before joining Rowan again.

Everyone had agreed. No one had asked any questions so far. It seemed to be a done deal that they would fight.

Rebecca stood by Ash as she watched these beings come through and start to speak, she listened to this leos every word and she had no questions but she was surly not going to back out so she gave him a nod letting him she was in with everyone else.

Cedric looked around having enjoyed the attentions of the two female dragons. He had pointedly ignored when Rebecca and her demon appeared, blinking in surprise when this young little mortal whelp took a seat beside him he flashed his teeth in what he hoped was a smile.
When the other dragons appeared he rubbed his head wondering why he was summoned to just act as a babysitter. Seemed like to him a pointless waste of his talents, powers, skills and time. He scowled and frowned beginning to get irritated by the turn of events. All this was happening and he was just being ignored, he had heard of this Nicol bolas, smirking to himself a little as the humans on Earth even had a card named after him. Though they didnt know of his true power, still thought it was funny. Cedric looked over each of the male dragons that had just arrived and studied them gauging their power and age. He decided that like him, they were almost ageless and with time comes power so he wondered if they were about even on powers. He crossed his arms and plated his body with his shimmering gold/white silver scales, having them form to his body like a muscle wetsuit. He strapped his blue crystal sword to his back and rechecked the Holy Blade he now carries that it was belted to him before he made himself comfortable against the wall and fell asleep, figuring since was playing body guard he could sleep until something happened.

Rowan had been brought by his sister to this strange area with a few others and listened quietly as introductions were made and the issue of why he was even brought here explained.

He crossed his arms as he looked over the group and still wondered why his assistance was even needed. There was quite a powerful bunch here and all warriors in their own right. He cast a side look at his sister, but it didn't last long as she was busy looking off into space.

As everyone prepared themselves, the god simply stood off to the side waiting until he would be needed. Perhaps when he was on the battlefield, he could work off his frustrations from everything that had happened to Wren.


Lio was informed of everything that had happened via his link to Sebastet and understood the severity of the situation.

The male wanted to join her, but that would leave their home open for anything to happen, so Lio had told her with a growl, that he would remain behind to make sure nothing would happen.

Besides, Lareth had sent a demon and Lio was going to make sure he made use of the lad in case something came up.

He wished his mate well and said that if at any time she needed him, he would be there in a heartbeat.

After his inward chat with her, he went back to working inside the castle.

Anube listened as he kept Blade clam and thought about where would it be best for them to go. Really any place would be good for him but he was going to let Blade pick. He sent her a mental note on that for he knew there would be some places she would not want to go. There was one place he did not want to go but really for now he would put up with it. He mind right now was set on trying to keep Blade under control till the fighting started.

Sebastet frowned over the news about her tower and had a bad feeling about it, "I'll see to my tower. Just pick someone to go with me so I can head back before my mate decides he's upset about how I left this evening," she stated simply.

Ash looked at Rebecca and gave her a small smile before looking up at Lao, "Rebecca and I will go to the demon realm. We just need the exact location of the gate there," he stated simply.

No one should have been surprised when Gypsy moved to stand on the other side of Rebecca, "I'll have to break the news to Lareth. If Ash does it, he'll be turned into ash," she said softly.

The goddess turned to her brother then looked back at Lao, "We will go to the Elven Realm and protect the gate there," she stated before turning to Cedric, "You, Cedric, will need to watch Kayla and Karina here. Dragon will fight dragon here but Jericho will be after Kayla. In that moment, she will be able to turn the tide. Just give her the reassurance she needs to do it instead of the arrogant a** your father has become," she told him then held her hand out to her brother, "We need to check on Wren anyway. Something has called her back..." she told him, knowing he'd want to check on her anyway.

Ebony, of course, would be staying with Lao. But she looked to her children for their decisions.

Karina, would be staying and silently put a tender hand on Kayla's shoulder to keep her from getting frightened.

Aria moved to stand with the Goddess and Rowan, choosing to go to the Elven realm.

Shira, however, moved to stand with her father, choosing to remain behind.

Ebony's chartreuse eyes moved to each of her sons then, knowing at least one would have to choose to go with Sebastet...

Kayla smiled softly when she felt a hand on her shoulder looking back at the girl. "They will be here soon...." She said softly biting her lip, for some reason she could feel Jericho trying to talk to her and it felt like he was getting closer. She then looked at Cedric "Jericho... He is my problem. I know what I have to do" She held onto the book tightly bowing her head to the goddess.
