Tayu blushed bright red and started playing with her hair, almost wishing she had Kita on her shoulder. Thankfully, their food came a moment later, and Tayu took the opportunity of taking a bite of her rice to think. She swallowed and tried to sound casual. "If we're both still alive after this is all over," she said, "then, yes."

"Sure it is, if you're one of those stupid cursed dolls," Tayu said sarcastically. "But these other villages we're up against, the other ninja we'll be fighting, they have families who will be affected drastically. People are going to lose parents, siblings, spouses, children. Those left behind are going to have a hard time of it, and they'll hate the ones who did that to them: namely, us." She realized what she was saying and laughed. "Well, obviously I am too sentimental and unfit to be the chunin I am," she joked. "What good was all that training if I'm talking like this?"

Tayu laughed again, this time with a little less humor in it. "True. That was one emotionless a**." She shuddered. "At least none of the Dolls have taken any of our forms yet...aside from the first one. I don't think I'd be able to 'kill' someone I know."
