[ORP - Game] Motoujamii Man-hunt

Something nudged her from the Sandstorm Refuge back towards the Barracks, and Eish was willing to follow it. She'd been here recently, sure, but maybe not recently enough.

She was tempted to whisper aloud, but then Agni-pariksha would hear and undoubtedly move.

Team: Nuria, Ruber
Location: Barracks

Having drunk their fill, Ruber led Nuria back to the living spaces, the Barracks specifically. The two entered on the tail of a white lioness who bore the distinctive look of frustration that any game-players were wearing by this time.

Perhaps they would get luckier, having four eyes with which to look.

The Hunter found a comfortable place in the Oasis to sit down for a bit. He wasn't tired physically, but this whole hide-and-seek thing was taking a toll on his vaunted calmness. Sigh. Maybe he'd just sit out the rest of the game and relax. That sounded far more appealing than continuing on with no results to show for his work.

Still turning up nothing, Tim-timana made her way back to the sandstorm refuge. As the starting point for the hunt, it wasn't the most logical place to hide, so...maybe Agni-pariksha would be there in an attempt to be clever?

There really wasn't much point in contuining to go back and forth and here and there, Pysche decided, opting to stay and search the barracks a bit more thoroughly. Others came and went, glimpses of red and white and black, but she caught nothing of the dark red of Agni-pariksha.

It was with stubborn determination that Alya moved towards the oasis. The gave the area a glance over before taking a pause in an area where she could see over other areas of the pride, at least to some small degree. Golden eyes scanned over what she could see and she did her best to try to identify the forms moving around. To her dismay, she couldn't make out the dark form of the regent. Her nose wrinkled and her ears pressed flat to her head. Well, she supposed she would have to try out some other tactic.

The white lioness continued to scour the Barracks, moving through the crowd of lions. Not a one of them looked to be Agni-pariksha, but that did not mean the Regent wasn't here.

Eish was certain that she'd come close at least once today, but she could never be sure of that.

Team: Nuria, Ruber
Location: Pridal Oasis

There were a lot of lions looking through the Barracks and Ruber could see that none of them was going to find the Regent. Catching Nuria's attention, he jerked his head outside and the two of them went back to the Oasis. At least here it was nice and relaxing.

He seriously doubted either of them still had their minds on the game.

After sitting for a while, Huozin glanced up at the sky. Oh good, the game was nearly over. The Hunter got to his feet and headed for the Training Grounds. He figured Agni-pariksha would at least put in an appearance there once the game was over.

His game was over at least, as far as Huozin was concerned. It had seemed like such a simple concept. He'd never expected it to be so incredibly frustrating, without any of the joy cubs had when playing a similar game.

Tracking the Regent's scent led Baise back to the Sandstorm Refuge once again. The huntress walked slowly with her nose to the sand until a particularly strong gust of wind unsettled the sand all around her and displaced the scents, mixing them all together in one big mess that was next to impossible to track.

"Sheesh." she whispered, sitting down and looking annoyed. "Now what?"

The huntress had few options at her disposal and in the end, Baise decided to continue investigating the area with little success.

Alya stretched, having become antsy from lingering in one area. She didn't like the feeling of wandering aimlessly from one area to the next. This impulsive checking of place to place didn't sit right, and she hadn't even caught track or scent of the regent. The lioness wrinkled her nose and let out an irritated huff, moving from the oasis and through the training grounds. She glanced from side to side, looking over the area, before changing her course towards the Hongshan quarters. She kept an ear out, for any useful chatter or for the sound of her teammates, but it all came to no avail. The day was already probably a failure. It certainly was in her book.
