Flying was great! Rose had one arm hugged around the base of Auriel's neck, and the other wrapped around a rather terrified Blaze. Fynx wasn't sure how she felt about flying, and was still holding on to Chifaera as he flew beside Auriel. It didn't take too long for them to reach their destination. "There. That's the southern part of Lumiose City. Let's go." Fynx said, peeking over Chifaera's side. "Alright! Let's go down, Auriel!" Rose exclaimed.
While taking off and flying seemed to be no big deal, landing seemed to be the one thing Auriel seemed to have a difficult time with. The descent started off smoothly, but then as they got closer to the street, it became apparent that it wasn't an ideal place to land. "Oh no! Look out!" Rose shouted out. The majority of people got out of the way in time, but Auriel was about to touch down, he stumbled into two boys, his fluffy wings knocking into at least one of them, causing him to stop suddenly. "Oof!" The sharp stop tossed Rose off of the shiny mega altaria's back, and she curled around her flareon to protect him when she fell. Luckily, she was pretty much unharmed - maybe a bit of a scratch on her elbows and knees. Blaze wasn't hurt at all, but looked like he was scared stiff from the experience. As soon as she could, Rose got to her feet and checked on the two boys that Auriel had run into upon landing. "Oh my goodness! Are you alright? I'm soooooo sorry! It's our first time flying..." the red head apologized, offering help up.
Chifaera landed much more gracefully, perhaps due to having more 'landing gear' than Auriel. Fynx hopped off his back quickly to fuss over Rose. "Rose! You should've been more careful! Are you alright?" The delphox partially scolded her trainer, but pulled her close to examine her. "Stoooop I know! I'm fine..." Rose muttered to her starter, but smiled. It was still nice to have her best friend care so much. Right now she was more concerned about the people she had run into and disrupted. Chifaera, though, didn't seem that pleased with the pale boy (Maiku). He was growling lowly after having snatched a sniff at his bag.

Rose was greatly relieved when the two boys responded that they were alright. The blond's Braixen had kept him from falling it seemed, and - wow! Fennekin must really be a popular pick! It seemed to be everyone's starter here! Or, well, that's what Rose assumed, anyways. "Heh... I guess Auriel here has to work more on his landing. Oh! I'm Rose, by the way! I'm sorry again about dropping in on you two." the red head smiled sheepishly. Auriel bowed his head to each of the boys in an apologetic fashion, letting out a melodic hum.
Chifaera spotted the egg in the pale boy's possession, getting all huffed up and hissing at him and the fennekin. "Kin! Sibling! Thief!" Chifaera growled, snapping his jaws in the air. "Ah! Ch-chifaera! Don't be so mean!" the red head intervened quickly, now noticing that her odd fluff dragon seemed to be upset by something. She went over and pushed his head down, petting his neck to soothe him. "Um, sorry about that... oh, what eggs did you have...? This Chifaera had an egg with it when it ran into me back in Reflection Cave... Maybe you found one of it's - ""Siblings. He seems to think you stole one of his sibling eggs." Rose started to explain, but Fynx cut in to finish, being sure to let the two boys hear her voice so that they weren't left out. The red head blinked, then seemed to understand. She doubted this boy was a thief! He looked nothing like the guy she was chased by! Chifaera let out a loud snort of air, feathers still rustled.

Rose tilted her head, completely confused at what Maiku was saying. Of course, she wasn't telepathic, so she didn't her his fennekin's comment, which apparently effected what he was saying. "Uh... Um... what...?" she was quite confused, since what was said didn't make much sense to her. "The little one said he stole it from some poachers." Fynx saved Rose from complete confusion just in time. "Ooooooh! That makes sense! I think they might have been working with the guy that was after this Chifaera." Rose exclaimed.
Chifaera looked down at Maiku as he introduced himself and even offered to give his sibling egg back. He considered it, staring down at the pale boy. The pink dragon then leaned down to poke his nose in the bag, checking on the egg. It seemed to be perfectly safe, and even had another egg from a different pokemon beside it. They looked like they were both doing well, too. With a huff he pulled back his head and snuffed at the boy's hair. "Maiku take good care of sibling. Keep. Make happy." Chifaera finally told the boy directly before turning away.
Fynx told Rose that Chifaera decided to let Maiku keep the egg. "Heh, that's great! I wouldn't want you to give up an egg you got fair and square. I'm glad Chifaera agrees." Rose smiled, soon returning Chifaera and Auriel to their balls. She still didn't learn the blonde's name... but maybe he was shy? "Also, I know this must seem pretty sudden, buuuuuut would you like my holocaster number, Maiku? I'd love to see your chifaera once it hatches! I'm sure mine would be happy to see it, too. I understand if you don't, though, heh." Rose asked, prepared to give the boy her holocaster number if he wanted to.

"Yeah, I dunno," Zero replied, the conversation having shifted a bit. "It just feels like your voice isn't as clear in my head as it was before. Nova sound fine, but it just kinda sounds like your words aren't as loud as they used to be." Zero took a sip of his drink, as Atona mentioned something else. A possibility the silver-haired trainer hadn't really considered when Atona mentioned another woman. His gaze for the first time became very clearly on Atona, and he would've given him a very questioning expression had Isis not gotten up at the sound of a crash. He nodded as the girl told him and Nova to either come along or stay, and as Atona got up to leave he returned his attention back to him briefly. "Yeah, no. There's no way that could've been Alex."
Meanwhile, still munching on the food she'd ordered, Nova got up to follow Isis out of the cafe, curious to see how the crash went. With Zero left at the table, the Mega Gardevoir walked just beside Isis, getting the gist of the situation as she continued to eat her food.

Rose smiled as Maiku exchanged contact information with her. "Thank you! Maybe we'll even run into each other again sometime! er... well, not so literally... heh..." she said, putting his info into her holocaster after giving him hers. Fynx rolled her eyes at the rather mean fennekin of Maiku's. She didn't have a comment, however. The red head perked up as the blonde finally introduced himself. "Heh~ don't worry about it! It's nice to meet you, Theo! And you too, Maiku, by the way." she responded, not at all bothered that he had been late in introducing himself. After all, sometimes she forgot, too!
Isis eventually found her, telling her which way the cafe was and commenting on making new friends. Rose made a silly face, happy to see her friend again, even though it hadn't been that long. "Yeah! I'm glad it was these two that i bumped into~ They seem really nice! This is Maiku, and th- oh, you already know Theo?" Rose started to say, but Isis seemed to notice and address Theo before she finished. Rose couldn't help but wonder how they knew each other. Surely Isis wouldn't have crash landed on him, right? she seemed way more experienced, especially after having heard about her flying around the world and winning some kind of race.
Fynx perked up as her favorite old dog approached, asking about the crash. "Ooooh it was horrible! Blood everywhere! Body parts flying all over the place! People were dying, and babies were crying!" she said rather dramatically, with quite a lot of sarcasm for fun. However, she went over to the mega lucario, invading his space and curling her tail around his legs. "Everything is so much better with you right here though~" she mumbled into his ear, a vulpine grin upon her muzzle. After leaning on him a moment, waiting for a response, she let up a bit. "It wasn't that bad, really. Just after touching down, Auriel had a bit too much speed and not quite enough time or space to slow down. At least he's cushiony." she told him honestly, in case he was interested in the specifics.

○ ○ ○ Maiku was sure they'd run into each other again, too. Hopefully not in such a literal sense. But, knowing how clumsy he could be, he was willing to bet that was exactly how they'd meet again. It wasn't long before Rose's fries found her; or, who he imagined were her friends from how they acted together. And, it looked like one of them already knew Theo. Huh. That was quite the coincidence. Rose introduced them, which left Maiku in that awkward "what should I say?" stage, but his attention was caught by Rose's Delphox as she tossed a lighthearted yet...gorey bout of sarcasm to the Lucario. He stared, a little dumbfounded, at her; wide eyed and grinning in a confused but amused way."She's a little...different than Furea.""A little? They're like polar opposites. It's so weird."Furea didn't butt into the conversation, but she didn't appreciate Maiku and Yuki talking about her like that and jumped up to sink her teeth into Maiku's hand to express it."Ow!! Wh-What the heck, Furea!?""You're both talking about me like I'm today's gossip! If you've got an opinion about me, don't try to hide it! I'm connected to you two, you know, so I can hear you just fine!""S-Sorry...."Maiku knelt and got into his bag, pulling out some bandaids. These would hardly be considered proper first aid for Furea's bite, but it was the best he had right now. He'd visit a hospital later.

✿ ❀ Isis was happy to hear that Rose could report positively about her first flying experience. It was certainly lucky that she ran into some more understanding trainers than ones that would bear a grudge for her inexperience. She began to introduce the people she had met. Maiku Isis had never seen before, so when Rose introduced him, Isis gave a courteous nod. "How do you do?~" She greeted, though when Rose began to introduce Theo, Isis took charge herself, greeting the young boy and asking how he was doing. Rose seemed rather surprised by this, but Isis chuckled. "Heh~ Yeah, we met at the tanabata." Isis explained briefly before Theo explained that he was fine, and training for his next gym. "Awesome~ Well, good luck then." Isis nodded. She felt inclined to ask how many badges he'd gotten so far and which badge he was going for next so that perhaps she could give some advice, but recalling their last little squabble about not wanting advice, she figured it was a sore subject that she best avoid. She took notice that his little fennekin had now evolved into a braixen, which was great, though she clearly wasn't happy with Isis' presence for some reason. Weird. Isis focused more on Theo with an open mind. Atona on the other hand, though he didn't look it, was watching Olivia very carefully since she had given clear signs of agitation. If the braixen's aura so much as shifted to have the slightest inclination to attack his trainer, there would be an aura sphere with her name on it.
Isis wasn't exactly surprised when Theo ushered her off with Rose, giving a light sigh off to the side. She wasn't sure what it was that made him so stand offish. Well, that wasn't entirely true. He'd clearly felt bad and awkward when she reprimanded him for his behavior towards Dumuzi, but that sort of socially awkward behavior had existed long before that sour turning point, so she wasn't sure if something about her personality rubbed him the wrong way or what. She did have that sort of effect of a few people. Not everyone appreciated her "sunshine and rainbows" outlook on life, so if he didn't want to talk then she wasn't going to force him. "Well, yeah something like that." Isis agreed when Theo observed that they had a coffee date. It was really a strange hodgepodge of things but she supposed coffee date sort of summed it up just fine. She frowned slightly when he suggested that he didnt want to get in her way though, about to say something, but then Maiku cried out when his fennekin had suddenly decided to bite him, hard. "Jeeze! Are you alright?!" Isis asked worriedly as he apologized and began to tend to his hand. It seemed rather deep of a bite, but Maiku seemed to have some materials to clean and treat it at least, so that was good to see. What got into that fennekin? Were all fennekins and their evolutions just that aggressive? Isis was very confused. Fynx didn't seem to be really all that bad. Well, except she was rather over motherly to Rose, and there was something strange going on with her and Atona, but...
Atona rolled his eyes as Fynx insisted that there was horrible blood and carnage everywhere from the impact. Clearly she was joking, he didn't see what she was trying to pull, at least not until she snuggled up close to him and insisted that his presence made everything better. Atona very gently detached himself from her, stepping away casually so that she was no longer invading his personal space. "Please try not to be so overdramatic about lies I can clearly discern from the truth before my own eyes. I may be old, but I'm not blind." He said with rather good humor, all things considered. Fynx finally amended her previous statements, explaining that it really wasn't all that bad, much like Atona had gathered for himself. Not to mention Rose's ride was quite cushiony, so impact wouldn't have been nearly as bad as, say, a salamence. That, I'm more willing to believe." Atona nodded in agreement. Well, he was glad at least nobody was hurt. Though Isis and Theo seemed to have some noticeable tension between them. He hadn't been out and around during the tanabata confrontation, but he got the gist from the fleeting thoughts at the forefront of Isis and Theo's minds, as well as the perception of their auras. ✿ ❀
