Ebony knew better than to struggle as he pulled her through the ground then pinned her beside the stream in the hidden spot he'd found long ago. She simply gave a soft laugh as she wrapped her legs around his waist and lifted her face to meet his lips with her own in a brief begging kiss. "Yes, my love... Take your prize as you deserve to," she said in a soft whisper that was almost lost in her own pleased growl, knowing full well that they'd needed the chase as much as they needed each other now.

The goddess appeared in the grotto where Lao was laying with Ebony after renewing their bond and swept a hand towards them to keep Ebony asleep for a while longer. She knew he probably wouldn't welcome her presence right now, especially since she'd appeared as the Warrior. "He's waking again, Lao. He's already taken one dragon and the lives of four unborn children. He'll attack others as he finishes waking. You will have to fight him again. I can keep her here, and asleep, until after it's over if you wish it," she warned him simply then gave him the one offer of hope she could. She knew she didn't have to explain who she was talking about. He only had one true enemy from his past, after all. An enemy he'd had to send to sleep the last time instead of killing him. But this time, he would be able to finish him off for good. Lao had the power for it. She gave him one more thing, though. A gift. She held her hand out one more time and a set of full armor for both of his dragon forms appeared to one side, "He will not be able to harm you if you wear the armor. There is also a sword for the killing blow if you must take human form during the fight. But you must find him first. The gods have sworn their vengeance against him this time. My family especially. He took my brother's wife's children, Lao... Make him pay for it..." she explained, her voice as hard as the stone he ruled over...

It was rare that the Brood Mother ever appeared to Lao, even less so as the Warrior. Her words troubled him, yet as he looked to Ebony with soft eyes, the response was almost automatic. " Wake her and let her hear your words Mother. Ebony is my mate, our fates entwined. It was her wish to be with a Primal, and her destiny as my wife and your Chosen is on the battlefield. Your sadness is our sadness, your anger our anger. She lives with me in times of peace, she fights with me in times of war. If HE is indeed finding a way to return to this realm, I will need all the allies I may find." Lao stated as he walked to the armor and blade, a sorrowful look in his eyes. It had been eons since he last donned such power, its very purpose to slay beings like himself. To slay a Primal.
He picked up the blade and ran his fingers along its edge, watching it as it changed from a beautiful longsword into an ornate and sturdy greatsword. Its sheer power made him tremble before it, like a child in a thunderstorm. " I have one last request Mother. If HE is coming, every being in this realm and realms around us must be warned. If you can, direct them to this island, my stronghold. I will prepare a conclave to explain the situation to them, to prepare the mortals for such a battle..... explain to my children that we must kill their uncle." His voice cracked at the last part. It brought Lao no joy to do this, to prepare to war against his little brother. But as the Brood Mother prophesied, the first son was born into the light, and would find strength in righteousness. The second son was born to the dark, and would find power in its depths. The same prophecy for his own children, though they had Arden to mediate.
"Wake your Chosen, Mother. Time is of the essence."

She gave a nod to him and woke up Ebony then explained the situation to her. Ebony looked up at Lao as he held the sword and gave a soft sigh as she turned back to the Goddess she'd served for so long, "Go to your brother. Tell him Wren will be safe either with the Drow or back at the elven castle. She is a fighter, yes, but her magic won't be able to do much with this one. With her weakened state, it will be better for her to rest and recover," she said, knowing it would allow the god to help them and give him a bit of revenge as well. She thought a bit more as she got to her feet and summoned her full battle scales to her human form, marking her as the assassin she was born to be, "Speak to Lareth as well about who he can send to us. He doesn't need to be leaving Cynthia unprotected right now. The other woman who was attacked, Blade, speak to her and her mate, they'll be good in the fight. Sebastet..." she didn't need to say anything about what to tell the Hylarr, that female was hell in a fight, "And warn Sasha to stay out of sight as much as possible, we'll need her healing skills after this is over," she finished and looked at Lao. "I'll gather the girls. You get the boys," she knew their brood would have to be told together about this. The Goddess gave a simple nod and looked to Lao, "Your siblings will join their powers to yours when you call for it," she told him simply, knowing he'd know what to do, then she faded from sight, knowing she'd already given Ebony everything she could for the fight ahead. When she was gone, Ebony walked up to Lao and gave him a tender kiss, able to feel the pain of what this fight meant to him and simply gave him a wordless wave of love through their bond before she simply faded into the shadows, leaving him to do what he had to do.

Ebony called her children through the shadows, calling them back home and making sure there would be no argument from any of them over it. As her daughters landed at the cave she shared with Lao, she stepped from the shadows with her human body covered in her dark scales, her long hair bound back in a tight braid with even more scales binding it into a weapon of its own, sharp spikes lined her forearms and talons replaced her nails. She looked at each of her daughters in turn then told them to prepare for a battle, that their father would explain everything when he arrived with their brothers and the others who'd been called arrived as well.

Cedric looked at the mist a little puzzled and shifts into his human form. He kneels and lifts up Sasha carrying her to the cave nearby and placing her on a small bedrock. Stepping outside he takes a moment to puzzle over what this is about before just sprouting his wings and flying over to the other island up to the peak he was shown. He hovers surveying the small clearing that already has landing marks from others leading into the cave. He lands and slowly walks into the dark cavern lighting a ball of fire in his hands to see where he is going. "Hello? I was told to come here for some reason? This weird lady with green eyes, covered in leather said to come here?"

Ebony glanced at Aria who brought in a small burst of wind that carried his fireball to the firepit to light up the rest of the cave and revealed all four females in full battle display. Ebony was in front of them and the living embodiment of a shadow assassin with her human body covered in her dark scales, her long hair bound back in a tight braid with even more scales binding it into a weapon of its own, sharp spikes lined her forearms and talons replaced her nails. Aria was in white scales with a smaller set of her dragon wings at her back and her blonde hair braided tightly to her head, the embodiment of air. Shira was covered in scales of every shade of blue, long webbed spikes along the outsides of her arms and two along her back, her dark blue hair secured behind her in a braid to the small of her back. Karina was covered in slate gray scales, her silver hair loose around her and falling just to her shoulders, the simplest display of them all. Ebony stepped towards him and gave a small grin when she felt his bloodline call to hers, "Welcome cousin... I'll assume the woman you met was none other than the Brood Mother, also known as the Goddess. Which means she Chose you for this fight as well. Good. You can fight in that form or as dragon, your choice. I'm Ebony ShadowScale and these are my daughters; Aria, Shira, and Karina. Lao should be joining us soon with our sons. When the others arrive, he will tell you what we face," she told him simply and gestured for him to sit on one of the large comfortable cushions to wait while her older two daughters each brought him something to eat and drink. Karina stayed back, the shyest of the girls.

Ash appeared in one side of the cave with Rebecca, Gypsy, Blade, and Anube on either side of him, all of them in various styles of armor. He looked to Ebony and gave her a nod of respect, "Ebony... May I present my mate, Rebecca. Gypsy, you already know. And Blade as well with her mate Anube," he said simply. Ebony grinned at all of them, "Good to see you're settling down, Sexy. I'll give her a few details on you later," she said irreverently to Ash then turned to Blade with a somber expression on her face. To her and Anube, she simply gave a nod, "You'll get what you want, Blade, Anube... I promise you that," she told them softly. Then she turned another teasing grin to Gypsy, "As for you, Blade-that-walks, you'll enjoy this fight. We're up against a mixed bunch with alot of firepower against us," she told her happily. Gypsy just shook her head a bit and put one hand to her head with a heavy sigh, "I forgot about your sense of humor, Ebony... But it's good to see you in this form instead of the cat... The bracelets were annoying..." she said softly, not bothering to hide her demonic aura this time from anyone, knowing that the alluring and sexual aura would help her in the fight to come. Ash looked over at Cedric being pampered by two of Ebony's daughters and raised one eyebrow at Ebony who shook her head slightly with a shrug of one shoulder, "He's taken by Sasha. They're just being polite," she announced to everyone for him just because she could.

Anube just nodded to the one called Ebony for he had nothing to say. He could not wait to fight and get revenge but he would wait for now. Looking around it had been a long time since he been around a dragon. The last one and only one he knew was Pentox who he meet through Yamille. Sadly that old dragon died years ago and after that Yamille only dealt with Dagra her shadow dragon gurdain. Looking at Blade he wondered how she was doing as her creaked his fingers ready to smash a few heads. "What do you mean by mixed bunch?" he asked her.

Rebecca smirked at her as she said that, she liked the person already and softly stood by Ash giving her a nod as he introduced her and others. Rebecca then looked over at Cedric and heard what Ash said, she smiles softly glad he moved on from her and they were both happy now, but she knew wouldn't mind attention from those girls either way. Rebecca looks back at Ash and others softly waiting to see what's next.

Blade stayed by Anube. She'd only given a nod to Ebony when she'd been spoken to. Otherwise, she simply gave off a soft growl and waited. One hand did stray to her belly briefly then she hooked her thumb into her belt, making it seem as if the movement was deliberate. Only Anube would know differently since her mind was a barely restrained haze of her desire for revenge. Ash reached a hand out to settle it on Rebecca's shoulder with a grin for Ebony and her teasing, "I think motherhood has mellowed you, cat," he teased her but relented enough to give her the news of Cynthia, one of her former charges, "You should know that Lareth is working on a pardon for your former charge so he can marry her. She's also pregnant. With twins," he revealed to the shadowy female, then got the joy of seeing the pure shock on her face. "Damn! I thought she'd kill him for sure after his last attempt to get her in the sack! At least he's gotten his head out of his a**, though. After this is all over, I'll have to pay them a visit," she finally said, her chartreuse eyes gleaming with mischievous potential. Yes, they were bantering a bit. It helped with the pre-battle nerves. Karina finally stepped forward a bit and tilted her head as she looked at Gypsy but dropped her head after a moment while giving a very bright blush thanks to how the hybrid's aura was affecting her. Meanwhile, Aria and Shira were trying to make sure Cedric had every comfort while they waited for their father and brother's to arrive. They were respectful, but clearly wanted to know more about the one who had finally managed to bond with the reclusive healer-dragon.

The Goddess appeared to them all with Kayla and Sebastet just as Rowan also appeared behind her. Her brother said nothing for now. But Sebastet moved off to the side swearing in several languages over everything that was happening, her tail lashing behind her as she gave off a low angry growl. The Goddess spoke as she put a comforting hand on Kayla's shoulder, "This is Kayla... Give her whatever aid you all can," she stated simply then introduced everyone to the girl, "That is Ebony, her daughters Karina, Aria, and Shira, the latter two are pestering Cedric, that is Ash with Rebecca beside him, that is Blade and her mate Anube, behind me is my brother Rowan, the one swearing is Sebastet, and the one with the entrancing aura is Gypsy. I'd suggest you stick close to Cedric or one of Ebony's daughters," she told her simply, pointing each one out as she introduced them all to her.

Kayla smiled softly waving weakly at everyone but walked over to Cedric bowing her head slightly. "H-hello is it okay if I sit here?" She asked softly pulling on her shirt nervously feeling eyes on her.
The bag around her neck was hanging low as she slowly took a seat trying not to get into anyone's way.

Anube bowed deeply to the goddess before he nodded to the others. He was not one bit surprised to see Sebastet swearing and mad. After all many things had happened in her how and to people she knew. He watched the girl Kayla move to sit by Cedric before he looked back at the goddess. If she was here it had to be something big.

Rebecca looked at who appeared and saw Sebastet pace swearing herself, wondered what happened to her but her eyes softly laid back on the one that was introducing them to this person named Kayla. Rebecca gave a light nod to her as, from Ash's memories is to be the goddess and wasn't sure what she do right now, so she just softly stood and kept quite as she felt a little off, she really needed to get around and know more about these people she thought herself, but that what her ball is for, right now there here to fight from what she heard a mixed bunch which would just make it more interesting and putting everyone's skills here to a test. She hopes shes not too rusty with her skills right now, she took comfort a bit from Ash's hand on her shoulder.
