Good afternoon everyone. Today went well during my volunteer shift. Socialized with some adorable felines and got to have fun loading the new dishwasher-sanitizer we have. I think having that new equipment will making cleaning our supplies more fun than it used to be. Not to mention it's hell a lot faster than our old one.
And... clearly I'm not going to be doing any quilting today, lol. Maybe I'll just wait until the weekend. Then Mom and I can do our own little quilting session if she plans on working on hers.

Plus one of my fellow volunteer co-workers Jennifer asked if I would be interested in dogsitting for her. Apparently her daughter used to dogsit for her but with the daughter moving, Jennifer is looking for someone else to fill in. Her husband travels around a lot and Jennifer likes to join him sometimes when she can. Since she knew how well I do with the cats in the cattery, Jennifer said she would ask me first.
So next Wednesday I'll be going to her house to meet Vegas, her chihuahua, and see whether the two of us hit it off. If we do, then that means I'll have future dogsitting sessions in the near future. I told Jennifer my usual charge for dogsitting and she said that she would pay me more than that ((understandable considering Vegas has some medical issues she needs medication to be given for)). I definitely won't turn down such an offer. Any source of money coming in to help me save up for Emerald City Comicon will be looked upon favorably.
Definitely a successful and satisfying day, that's for sure.
