Cheria took to taking pictures of the local Pokémon as she walked through the forest. It was beautiful. She even got an image of Panpour, Pansear, and Pansage. It was great! Now, if only she could get an image of them and their evolutions. Her holo caster went off as she focused in on a munching Scattering - which reminded her she still had to get her three Pokémon from the daycare - and she finished taking the shot before looking at the message. Messages, actually. Her mother and Marx had sent her messages simultaneously. That was a bit creepy. Listening to her mother's recording first, Cheria sighed. After asking if her journey was going alright, she asked about Marx. Her dad had brought him up in a conversation, and she wanted to know everything. Ignoring that for the time being, Cheria read Marx's text. After she sent it, Cheria left the forest and headed for Aquacorde. Almost to Vaniville.

The man ended up crying out several times as he was struck with various branches that broke under his weight. He let out one final shout as he eventually struck the ground, shuddering slightly where he lay. The most he could do was wince as some of the branches that had been hung up after breaking finally fell and pelted him. He was forced to continue laying face-down on the dirt and grass as he heard the sound of large and powerful wings beating up above, the sounds of pair of megas that had pursued him. The only thing he found fortunate was that neither of them seemed keen on following him down into the forest, and the man had a decent idea of why. Even if they were able to control their flames well, the duo were fire Pokemon, and the two of them chasing after a thief in a forest was a fire hazard waiting to happen. So, for the moment the trainer allowed himself to catch his breath so that he could start moving again. He wouldn't be able to rest for long, but he couldn't simply get up and start running, not with the shape he was in.

The thief continued to lay where he was for an hour, and considered himself fortunate that no one came across him during that time. The two winged beasts also went elsewhere during that time, either planning on heading him off at either exit or giving up. Or perhaps they also needed rest after that little chase. Regardless of the reason, the thief was left alone as he rested, and once the hour was up he began to move. His first action was to struggle to all fours, which was rather difficult since his right arm felt rather dead at the moment. Still, he managed to figure out what was still working fine, what needed an extra push, and what he'd have to have looked at later on. It seemed the only thing that fell into that last category was the arm, so the man slowly struggled to his feet.

Soon enough, all that was left of the outfit the thief had been wearing earlier was a smoldering pile of fabric and some other stuff that had smelled horrible. It was much more difficult without Daemon to do the work for him but Felix had managed to get the hoodie, shirt, pants, and socks to ignite. He had also tossed in the sunglasses, boots, and belt, but he doubted those would burn down as completely as the other articles of clothing were able to. At least, not with a normal campfire. But, it was all the man could do to take care of that problem."Bah... This is going to be more difficult than I expected,"the man complained as he ran his left hand through what remained of his hair, having cut it short in part due to having some of it singed and in part because he felt like he needed a haircut after the mess that just occurred. Thinking about his next move, the trainer pulled out his Pokedex and looked over the information about his new partners. It was hard to sift through the menu with just one hand, but it was doable. She had a feeling that Audrey would be able to find a pidgey and Fletchling in the woods too. She would at least have some variety to choose from in this case. Dumuzi walked alongside Audrey while they headed into the beginning of the forest, Dumuzi did love the forest. It was a quiet, gentle place that was so soothing in you just let yourself indulge in the quiet ambiance in the atmosphere. Niamh followed happily along with her human as they went towards the direction that they had left so that they could start where they left off when they went to the festival. Dumuzi looked over at Audrey. Oh? An adventurer huh? That sounds like an exciting idea.
