✿ ❀ It didn't take long before Lumiose City was in Isis' sights, what with Ambrette not being too far away and Nocturne being such a fast flyer. From what Isis remembered of Shutterbug Cafe, it was in the southern district of the city, so she had Nocturne hover lower until she spotted the familiar sign with the camera on it. "There it is!~ " Isis smiled, guiding Nocturne lower towards a more open landing area before hopping off, thanking her, and returning her to her pokeball. As soon as she landed, Atona let himself out of his pokeball, and Isis glanced up at the mega lucario curiously. "Something up?" She asked, wondering if maybe the lucario had sensed something. "No no, nothing like that. I'm just here to enjoy the company.... Well, and possibly help Zero out with carrying the shopping bags." Atona chuckled. Isis giggled at that, giving the steel type a hug. Atona was a bit taken aback by the gesture, not because it was surprising, especially not coming from Isis, but he just... Well... It was a good surprise. He relaxed into a smile, patting her head with a paw.
With that, she led them into the Shutterbug Cafe. Isis was sure Zero wouldn't be too far behind, the meeting spot was more for a place to wait for Rose. Well, that and Isis was kind of hungry. They'd had breakfast at Rose's house but the aquarium and beach had worked up her appetite for lunch. She made her way inside and took a table in the view of the entrance so that she could spot Zero and Rose as they came in, or at least they could spot her. Atona took a seat in front of Isis, and not a few seconds later were they greeted by a server with some menus. Isis ordered some water and a caramel latte to go, since she knew she likely wouldn't finish it by the time they were ready to go shopping. With her drink order taken, Isis started to look over the menu while Atona asked for a glass of water himself. "Mmm~ I think I want one of these paninis. They look really good. He took the seat between the two, before commenting. "Never actually been to anywhere like this. What kind of food do they have exactly?" Isis greeted them with a warm smile as they approached the table and took their seats, both inquiring about the menu right off the bat. "Oh! It's kind of like a sandwich shop sort of deal? Except they also have personal pizzas, pastries, and quiches... They also have more drink options than just soda and water, like tea, wine, and coffee. Here, have a look~" Isis offered him the menu she'd been glancing over, already having decided what she wanted. Though, she was able to get her menu back once their server returned with a menu for Zero, along with Isis' coffee and Atona's water. Zero and Nova needed a bit more time to decide what they wanted to eat, so Isis placed her order for the panini in the meantime and helped Nova with some of the food choices. While Isis and Nova chatted happily, Atona sensed Zero's eyes on him, the boy's aura shifting ever so slightly, telling Atona that he was trying to communicate. Atona responded by silently listening in to Zero's thoughts, just in time for Zero to ask if Atona could hear him. Yes, what is it? Atona asked curiously via telepathy, though his exterior gave no indication that the conversation was even happening. Zero then explained how Isis had mentioned the alternate timelines, and Atona gave the first visual indication that he was listening; his eyes closing for a moment. He covered the pained expression with another casual sip of water while Zero went on to ask about his alternate selves. Frankly I don't see how knowing will make a difference. Who you were, who you have been... The knowledge will not do anything to change who you are here and now. Atona explained. However... I suppose it is because of that fact that I see no harm in sating your curiosity. He said quietly. Most of the timelines were very similar to the event you experienced in this one, however, there are a few that stood out in my mind as being clearly different. There was one I believe you got into a rather heated fight with the girl in the shiny trevenant costume. Suffice to say, you lost. Another line, I believe you and Isis were already a couple. I also recall that in one, you and Isis came separately, different costumes, you didn't seem to know each other at all. I believe there was another similar instance, you came to the ball with another silver haired girl, rather than Isis. You nor Isis interacted at all, again, as if you'd never met. the outcome was always the same however. Either Isis died, or Ebony died trying to protect her. He sighed. ✿ ❀

Atona did his usual thing, while Zero pretended to go over the menu, listening to the Lucario when he spoke. Just wanted to know if any of them turned out better, I guess... When their server came back, Zero simply ordered a cinnamon bun and some cold water, while Nova just decided to get the same food as Isis, albeit with some tea to drink. The Mega Gardevoir continued to chat with Isis, not quite noticing the conversation going on.
