Sebastian tugged his roller blades off and returned them to his bag. As the last few minutes ticked by and the announcer chimed the soon to be arriving train, he thought a bit about the situation. He considered for a moment letting one of his pokemon out for a bit of company; all the quick moving had kept him per-occupied but now as he sat in his own little silence, it was considerably lonely. Of course, once he was on the train, he'd be busy researching and planning once more. Still, some kind of presence would've been nice.
"The train to Goldenrod City will soon be arriving. Please have your boarding passes ready to present to the conductor." Sebastian perked up a bit from adjusting the things in his bag as the announcement rang, digging out his ticket and making sure it was still in place. Good, still there. He set the ticket and his PokeGear aside next to his bag, stepping away briefly to grab a drink before he had to board the train. He was rather thirsty after all. While he occupied himself with getting a drink, he missed the strange little yellow rodent who had climbed up on the seat next to his bag, giving it a curious sniff before crawling inside.
Soda in hand, he popped the tab and took a sip an eyebrow quirking as the train pulled in and the chime for passengers to begin boarding occurred. He didn't even really consider it much, snapping his bag up -had it gotten slightly heavier?- as well as his boarding ticket and PokeGear, rushing haphazardly to the gate, passing his ticket along and climbing into the train, finding himself a nice little seat and settling in for the ride.
He didn't even notice that the bag at his side seemed to be wiggling a little bit.

At last! Du was off the train and once stepping into the open world of Kalos she stretched out happily. Niamh was looking up and wagging her tail in anticipation about meeting their friend Isis again. Du started to walk towards the outside and into the world of Kalos once more, suddenly missing it a little bit. She really had been gone for only a short while, but she really did love it here in her own way. It may not have been home, but it was definitely a home away from home that she could enjoy and lose herself in, in a good way. Dumuzi was also looking forwards to getting some new clothes, and she was going to get –wait for it – a skirt! It was going to be a big step for her as someone who was coming to terms with herself and how she presented herself. She would have to find a cute top to go with it… and maybe some accessories too… Hmm. This might be a fairly expensive trip in the end. Oh well. Once she got some ribbons under her belt she was going to have some more spending money. So, if she went a little broke today then that was okay. Dumuzi took a deep breath and smiled before beaming down at Niamh and started to take off in a light jog.

Dumuzi made her way through the winding streets of the Northern Lumoise city and towards… well, maybe if she stopped off at the pokemon center that would be a good place to meet Isis and her friends? It was a place that everyone was familiar with and it wouldn’t be too much trouble to actually find, being in the South side of the city. Dumuzi and Niamh made their way around the city and… actually got a trifle lost in the process. She knew which direction that she was heading but all the snaking streets where starting to throw her for a loop. Boy, it had been a while sense she had been in a city, hadn’t it? Oh well, she was sure that she would be able to navigate well enough to find her way. She just needed to polish up her old Street smarts from when she lived in Kanto.

It may have taken Du a little while to get her bearings but she was finally starting to get the layout of the city and was now able to navigate the streets and back alley’s a little easier. Now all she needed to do was find her way to the pokemon center and see where Isis wanted to meet up with her. She wondered what her friends were like and if any of them where interested in contests too? It would certainly be a good thing for her to get some more friendly competition for her contests… Du paused and remembered someone else she had met who was interested in Contests. They had crossed the threshold into North Lumiose but they weren't even half way there yet. Gio wanted to go to the desert and do a little bit of training. Ah the end of the city at last and the road to the Kalos Power Plant. There was excellent training grounds out there and his Pokemon would be well suited to get their training done there. Marx was practically beaming as he managed to set his friend off into a fit of laughter. Good! That was exactly what he'd been hoping for! Out of the corner of her eye Alexandra watched Marx grin, a product of her own laughter; it was an odd cycle of giddiness, she drew entertainment from him, he did the same, and she.. gave another laugh, shorter and softer. "I'll make sure to laugh more often then," she mused, promising her 'coach'. The brunette tilted her head to the side, furrowing her brow and contemplating his suggestion. "A comedy pokemon?" she gave the idea a good run, letting the thought filter through her mind. "Mr. Mime's certainly are... interesting," she remarked, humoring his joke. "Though their pre-evolution, Mime Jr., is adorable."
Alexandra stretched herself out lightly, even extending her fingers out by her side. She chuckled lightly at Marx's excitement before shaking her head good-naturedly, "maybe I can send you a book on the region before you visit," she suggested. She certainly had a few of those, though they were more about Sinnoh's lore, its geographic, anything about her home-region that had just caught her attention and piqued her interest throughout the years. She doubted Marx would get much use from those, so perhaps a simple tourist's guidebook of Sinnoh would be more beneficial. While the brunette continued contemplating this her pokemon managed to keep themselves entertained, Caldo contended himself by staying by his trainer's side, oohing and aahing at the sights they passed, and Xion continuing her conversation with Basil. "Mhm!" she hummed and began swinging her arms from side to side idly, her eyes peeled back for any pokemon. She certainly didn't mind the silence that had fallen between them, it was rather peaceful and even comforting, she certainly didn't mind that her friend wasn't the most talkative pokemon around. She still enjoyed his company! And the fact that she didn't see him too often only made her appreciate their time together even more.

Marx gave a short nod when Alex repeated his suggestion, still beaming like it was just the best darned idea anyone had had regarding the situation. "Hehe, yeah, that's true," he admitted, though, when she commented on the pre-evolution, his hands finding themselves laced together behind his head once again, "Maybe you could get one of those instead?" Did Alex prefer that kind of thing? Adorable pokemon? He didn't really think she had... though now that he actually did think about it... Of course, that thought didn't last long, but maybe he would be a bit more observant in the future, and catch on to her-- what was typically a bit obvious-- fondness for the cute pokemon out there.
Calming himself down a bit, Marx lowered his hands, but smiled and nodded again as Alex mentioned sending a book. "That sounds good!" he agreed, then let his smile grow again, "I'll have to give you my address or something so you know where to send it, though!" Or they could just meet up. He looked around as they walked, then straightened a bit, peering up ahead. "Oh hey, huh... Is that the train station?" he asked, craning his neck a bit, and then pointing over, or past, a few people, and looking to her for confirmation. He could see their pokemon up ahead, but past them, he was pretty sure he saw a large building. Maybe it was the one they were looking for?

Marx gave a lopsided smile and a bit of a laugh when she commented on the amount of pokemon she already had to train. "Hehe, yeah... Good point," he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck. Honestly, it was a miracle he didn't have more pokemon, considering how willy nilly he was with that stuff, and how impulsively he'd caught the ones he did have. That wasn't to say he didn't have plenty of pokemon, though... At the thought, he closed his eyes, scratching his head a bit and concealing a sigh. He really.... he really did need to get on that training and everything....
Shaking off the thought, he dropped his hand to the side, opening his eyes and giving a nod as Alex mentioned another solution to the matter of getting the book to him. "Hehe, yeah, sounds good! We can just figure it out then!" he agreed, lacing his fingers behind his head. Ah, the Marx philosophy-- 'We'll figure it out then'. Always a winner.
His focus was easily redirected to the train station as Alex confirmed it was what they were looking for, and a grin crossed his face. Before he could second guess himself, he grabbed her hand and picked up the pace for it, looking around as they approached, and letting go. "I think I gotta go buy my ticket over there," he commented, jerking a thumb in the direction that had the sign 'Hoenn Train Destinations" looming over it. He quickly swooped in, just as Basil caught up, wrapping his arms around Alex in a hug, and then pulling back with a sheepish grin. "Sorry!" he apologized, "Reflex!" He blinked and looked over when he heard a call out for departure from the Hoenn train, eyes widening. He quickly whipped back around to Alex, flashing a grin, but already backing up. "I'll talk to you later, Alex! Message me!" he urged, before turning, and racing off, Flygon swooping down into view to keep close to her trainer, the egg still clasped in her claws.

She waited patiently, cuddling her new baby Ho-oh while the others were healed up. It was a relief to hear that none of the pokemon involved in the brawl earlier were seriously hurt, but she still apologized to each one in turn for what happened before sending them through the pc.[-

In time she would figure out something better to do with each of them, but for now it was best this way. At least it took a whole freaking gang off the street.[- -] the baby Ho-oh shouted into the young thrainer's head. It bounced up and down on her shoulder then started nipping at her hair to get her attention.[- -]Berrie chuckled and shook her head to pull free from Fenghuang's beak. "Okay, okay, silly. Let's get some food together for everyone." She headed back over to the booth where Lua and the others were sitting and started unpacking containers of food from her bag. She made up a little bowl of pokemon food for each of her companions, including one for Feng, right in the middle of the table.[- -] the bird cheered, celebrating a little and fluttering down onto the table to start munching on the tasty morsels. It would hop about as it ate, clearly enjoying the meal.[- -]Seeing this made Cerbera giggle, covering her mouth. It was just far too adorable a sight. It also gave the young woman an idea. She used her Holocaster to snap a pic of her whole group with the baby Ho-oh front and center. She then included it in a message to her buddy Gio, thinking he'd get a kick out of it. She wrote:

She nibbled on it, giving some thought to what she should do with the pokemon she had just recently captured. Granted, they hadn't all been sent to storage, Cerbera had decided to keep the one with her that she had caught on the way to the city before that big brawl happened. He was all tubby and cute, and looked oh-so-huggable.[- -] the baby Ho-oh cried out into the girl's head, hopping over to her across the table top. It looked up at the snack in her hands expectantly, having already gobbled up the meal it was given like a little piggy.
