The Tree of Dreams

Carrot with his new flame power would find the waiting too much as he would bounce off of one paw and twirl once in the air. His tails would release the flames that he had build inside of him as it left a flaming streak in the air ...as he touch down on the ground ...and marvel at it.

(I am so hot ...now)

Suzaku would roll her eyes at his statement as he would jump again and once more he would flick that flames, but this time he would managed to two before he hit the ground.

(That looks like flame wheel ...you have flame charge ...so maybe, if you sputter out embers it would work better.)

Eclipse would point out kind of lazily as Carrot's eyes went huge. He would then ...take a deep breathe as he release some flames in front of himself and then charge forward into it as he release the same heat that made the trick with his tail work, but this time he directed it all over ...all outwards as the flames would suddenly catch all over his body and he found himself racing forward cover in flames.

(FLAME CHARGE!)

He howl happily.

(Idiot)

Both Suzaku and Eclipse would declare together as they looked at each other and laughed lightly.

The little globe would release the pokemon as it seemed to pop open in his hand. The little pokemon would blink once or twice, and then glare at him. It was the same look that a certain female of that species had given him high on the mountain path. She was just as much of a fighter now as she was then, but there was a bit of an impish streak to her now as well ...as she thought about giving him a spiky hug.

Jasmine blinked, well...just as any manner of a dream, look twice and the scene could change. After all, there it was... and her battery was in no line of sight now... the items there didn't show much more useful, but at least she spotted something interesting in that Red Card...

Although, the revelation they weren't quite ready to go... she thought to herself here, before she returned the Cresselia's smile.

"Okay, thank you, I'll wait."

She peered at Burnout floating aside her, "Well... if we can't leave... maybe it is a nice sign to socialise for once?"

She'd make her way to the shelf and pluck the Red Card that sat there, pocketing it.... She actually had a couple of new items now, didn't she? A new berry, that strange Dream Shard, the three eggs...

She'd begin emptying out her bag there, and slowly, gradually sat herself down beside the tree, crutches aside, the new Magikarp beside her, "I guess you'll need a name too, huh?"

Up her pokéballs went into the air, and open they would to reveal her own Skarmory and the Chansey Nightingale alongside too, with PKE afterwards, the Rotom floating there.

"Guys, say hello to your newest teammate!" Jasmine declared, as the Magikarp floundered away, trying to hide from them all. "Say hello to Koi!"

A myriad of squawks, electronic buzzes, happy greetings and replies would come all at once, but there was a lot to be said, and a lot to be seen, as PKE would look around, still new to humans, still new to all of this, as he watched the others looking at Koi, depositing his egg item beside Jasmine noting Nightingale do the same to retrieve her nurses cap, and zipping off into the air.

So many humans, so little time, as he zipped and peeked and looked... they all came in such strange shapes and sizes... were all humans female too? There were certainly a lot of them, although he hummed with a little static-y feedback, there was only one hole in his theory right now as he whisked away back and forth until he held over Raven's head like a cartoon lightbulb as if the boy had just had an idea.

[Are you a girl?] He finally asked, as Raven was picking his choice pokémon.

Meanwhile... Nightingale would keep peering out... after all, she'd left Oberon half mummified, what with things vanishing and reappearing, she had to wonder if the Zoroark would still be there now that all was said and done...

Though their laughter would stop as they heard a series of pops and noticed how many new pokemon have been ...released. That trainer had a very big group didn't see, and it seemed it was growing steadily as well ....as Carrot would smirk and wink once. He hadn't missed the females in their group as he would walk towards Jasmine's group with a pep to his step that made both girls sweat drop a bit.

(This isn't going to end well?)

Eclipse asked as Suzaku would only nod.

(By the way ...you are new member, and haven't had a chance to meet everyone. The fox is Carrot, I am Suzaku, and we have one other pokemon traveling with us currently ...a Snubbull name Lucky.)

Suzaku would catch her up as she choose to ignore what was going to happen to the fox as Eclipse took that as sign to do the same.

Suzaku would nod happily. It was good to be traveling with another girl again ...all the males around her made her a bit itchy sometimes, especially with some of their antics.

Carrot would walk straight up to the Chansey ...definitely female as he stretches right in front of her.

(How you feel about having my baby?)

He would just state to her without another bit of forethought as he ended his stretching and smile at her. He would even wink ..sure to charm any female to his bedside.

Nightingale stopped in her tracks, she'd been caught right on her way toward the other side of the tree, and certainly Jasmine would look up herself at what was going on now...

And Nightingale, nurse cap set forward, simply glowered down with all the maternal force of a ward matron on the rampage, unimpressed and non-too happy with the sudden and brash pronunciation, she declared, just as straight-forward.

[And WHY would I look to have an egg with a male who looks so prissy with all his curls?]

[And I happen to be looking to speak to another fox, thank you very much.] She harrrrumphed, upturned face as she waddled forward past toward the downed Zoroark.

And Jasmine couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Well... at least her all-business outlook is same as always...?"

(Oh, don't be like that ...sweetness)

Carrot would declare as he trots beside her. He didn't take a no as an easy answer as he smiles at her showing off his fangs.

(Curls are cute ...especially on the babies we will produce.)

He would once more cut in front of her and cut her off from her objective. A smile was on his face, as he wave his tails a bit more ...release sprinkles of embers in the air behind him.

(besides you look like a nurse, and fire can be use to sterilize your medical equipment and help with the mixing of potions. I would make a very good companion, and I don't mind getting my paws wet for you .....)

He would wink again.

(We can make a great team and sweet medical potions together ...including a egg.)

Suzaku thought she was going to be sick as Eclipse wondered when the pokemon would literally knock him away.

Nightingale would stop, arms folded as she stood there, looking down at the Vulpix showing off to her.

[Humph.] The Chansey would declare. [I happen to have plenty of teammates who have a far better flame than those piddly little embers you have on display!] She stepped back a moment, long enough to let Carrot catch a glimpse of the Lampent that was now glowering at him warningly.

However, it seemed Eclipse would be half-right, Nightingales' patience was at its end, but she wouldn't be doing any literal knocking, or anything that involved making contact with the Vulpix, as eyes lit blue and frills rose as Nightingale's psychic would suddenly yank the Vulpix up into the air by his tails!

And drop him right back beside the kunoichi! [I'm a nurse and I'm on call! Come back when you're not wasting my patients time!]

Carrot would literally find himself landing in Nakano's arms as the girl was caught unaware by him being dropped on her.

"What are you up to now?"

She would ask as Carrot would just glare at her for a moment and then back at the pokemon in waiting ...especially the Lampent. She thought someone had a stronger flame then ...him ...he would show her differently. Though for the moment, he had his pride to salvage as he would call out to her.

(Humph, you cold hearted ......angel)

His eyes would dissolve into hearts as it seemed his rage just couldn't be directed at a female properly. Then he would wiggle in Nakano's arms until the girl put him down.

If at first you don't succeed ..try try ...again.

He wouldn't head for the Chansey this time, instead, he would aim for other members of Jasmine's party. If the girl was smart she would move to another area as he went female hunting, this time his direction would be straight for for the Skarmory. Though ..a flash of metal would intercept him this time.

(Enough ...I don't want to have to get into a fight for you)

Suzaku would warn him. She could feel the aura of the other Skarmory, and she didn't like it at all. Though Carrot could more than likely take care of himself, she rather it didn't get to that ...as he glares over the top of him. She would raise her head a bit and flap her wings a couple of times as she made it clear she wasn't going to just sit by idly while he was hurt either. Eclipse would roll her eyes.

(Those two would never work)

She chuckles to herself as Carrot was finally herded back to their group. It was best to avoid as much trouble as possible at such a time.

Ironclaw would peer up, her goggles hid a bit of expression... but certainly her own metal feathers had brustled as well... even if she wanted just to have her own peace... she couldn't fight that territorial urge with another Skarmory nearby...

But as things were contained and Nightingale would head to the Zoroark, it was Jasmine who would decide to stand, taking a little help from Ironclaw's beak before taking her own crutch, moving forward a little to Nakano.

"It feels like it's been a while, when it really hasn't, has it?" She offered a half-smile and shrug... it... wasn't the best opening line, but really, what else could she think to start off a conversation with a girl who she'd had a pretty bitter rivalry with previously?  

[Silentveil]

"What do you want cripple?"

Nakano wasn't going to do a lot of small talk. She knew that Jasmine and her weren't friends, nor will they ever be. She also knew that just like her skarmory acts territorial of hers ...she felt that way about Jasmine. Her opposite ...and the one who made her look weak in comparison of power.

No, she didn't like her one bit as she unlatched a single kunai and twirl it around once.

"If you came to see if we can be friends ...then hobble away. I have no plans to play nice with you."

She declares rudely. The atmosphere had shift that fast as Suzaku would stand up next to her ...her feathers would bristle then and Carrot who had been love dovey a moment ago read enough to strike his tails against the ground send up little bits of embers while Eclipse looked confused.

Why had things suddenly gone so serious? Wasn't their group messing around with hers just a moment before?

She didn't stand up ...instead she simply watched to get a better understanding of what was going on.

Jasmine sighed, and without even looking, she held out a hand to Ironclaw who was already similarly bristled. Jasmine kept quiet for a moment... not sure what to say here.

"I was hoping we'd be more cordial considering our host." She said carefully, not looking to raise her voice to anything that could be construed as aggressive or give Nakano a reason to strike up a fight.

"It's only every once in a while we're all gathered together and it's not to have us battle one another." She shrugged, seemingly giving up as her entourage would stay in place, as she moved to follow Nightingale to take a look where last Oberon had been left.

"More cordial my foot."

Nakano would declare as she crosses her arms. She hadn't forgotten nor forgiven her about the tournament, and she wasn't going to trust the girl either. Especially considering she left her nasty looking bunch to glare at her and her pokemon.

"Are you sure it's not to battle one another? That is what enemies do and definitely what trainers do ....fight and fight and fight some more."

She would declare as Carrot would only shake his head.

(WE do loving too.)

Hearts came to his eyes as Jasmine walks away defusing the situation even as more, and he would turn his attention to the skarmory.

(Wanna build a nest with me? we will make beautiful eggs together)

He was cooing at Ironclaw as Suzaku kept her feathers spread wide, and her head level. She was more than ready for a tussle if necessary, and Eclipse seeing that the temperature wasn't going down would stand finally to join her.

"It's a good thing I'm a medic and not a fighter then, isn't it?" Jasmine would call backward to leave the girl food for thought.

Ironclaw laughed, and it was one of those terrible condescending laughs that came from someone presented with a heartfelt request given by someone they believed lower than themselves. [Oh, honey, I wouldn't have you for the furlining in the nest...]

The Skarmory glanced up however to now see that the Absol had joined the other Skarmory in glowering at them... and there was her and Burnout, what with that random Rotom having vanished, and the Chansey away with Jasmine... Three against two. Well... two against two if you didn't count the Vulpix.

[...Mind you, it HAS been a while... and I AM hungry for fox...] She laughed again. [Tell you what, keep yourself out of this fight that's about to happen and I'll drag you into the bushes afterward...]

Momo had been spacing out until she heard a noise. Suddenly she glanced over and saw that the bag was rocking back and forth. As the bag rocked, the Ponyta egg that had within rolled out. The girl grabbed her bag and then watched as cracks started forming up the sides. In a bright flash, the egg cracked and the pokemon emerged. At first, Momo couldn't see what pokemon was. As the light faded, she rubbed her eyes. The figure was a Ponyta lying on the ground. Instead of having the normal red flaming mane and tail, this was one was blue! A Shiny Ponyta.

The pony let out a snort, before rising to it's hooves. Letting out a nicker, he approached Momo before bowing slightly with a dip of his head. He looked at her and she was the first person he had come in contact with. Immediately he could feel the bond linking them together. This was the one who had carried him and protected him while he was nothing but an egg in development. The pokemon snorted once before moving closer and shoved his muzzle under Momo's hand, waiting for her to stroke or hug him. When the girl threw her arms around him and hugged tightly, he looked pleased. Upon release, he looked at her focusing. ">Milady, please allow me to be the sword that never leaves your side, the shield that protects you from harm. Allow me the honor of being your knight in shining armor, your protector. I will defend your honor until the day I die.<"

Momo meanwhile felt happy. What she had forgotten was that the wish that she had whispered to the egg had come true. This pokemon would add to her list of protectors. The Spinda girl smiled, gently stroking his muzzle. "Hm.. your name will be Azure." The girl looked around, spotting that others had been surrounding a tree and looking at orbs. Oh right! She had forgotten about that. As she was about to head over, Azure trotted over and lowered himself to the ground. ">Allow me, milady to carry you any place you may wish to go.<" It was obvious that the Ponyta wasn't going to take no for an answer, so she climbed onto his back. The pokemon began to take them both towards the tree. Luckily, Vanni's orbs were right next to hers. After glancing at her own orbs, she didn't see anything that particularly called out to her. Instead she found herself drawn to glance over at the orbs in front of Vanni. The girl's pink gaze flickered over until it felt like one was calling out to her. It was a Magikarp! But for some reason, she felt some strange pull towards Vanni's Magikarp... Which was odd..."Vanni! Would you be willing to trade orbs?"

(Ah, my beautiful silver maiden ...you make my heart go bump ...bump ..bump)

Carrot's eyes would turn to hearts as he thought about being dragged into the bushes, and he would sigh openly as looked at the offer and then back at his comrades.

(I will be happy to do as you request if you aren't talking about fighting my friends. I would love to do as you request ...but if it's a choice between you and them then it's not a choice. I don't care how pretty you are ..I am not some low life ..scum who turn his back on his friends for a good time.)

Carrot would suddenly go serious. The hearts had vanish as a bit of flame would flicker at the edge of his nose, and he would stare her in the eyes. There was a stopping point to everything, and his mission for conquest stop with them ...as Suzaku would drag her claws into the ground.

(I hope your answer is no, because, I plan to tear you apart if its a yes.)

Nakano's hand would go to one final pokeball, Lucky.

"Also, i have no plan of playing fair either. Shinobi don't play fair ...we fight to win ....so think carefully about your answer to him, huh?"

The girl would tell the Skarmory. This fight was more unfair than she realized, because with Jasmine ...walking away it wasn't a chance of two against two ..it was closer to four against two and with the inclusion of one more pokemon ...it would become five.

"Don't forget, your trainer just wimp out ...she recognize her calling, and it's to hide in a hole ...you better follow after her ..or else ...we might be putting you in one."

Nakano didn't hide this threat. She just stood there clearly ready to take this battle up a notch if that is what the Skarmory wanted.
