Say Lenelee, random question but what did you want to be when you were younger?

I wanted to be a Vet and nothing but from the time I was 4 till I think sophomore year in high school. I then realized that part of that would mean seeing badly suffering animals and putting some of them down and I know my heart couldn't bear that... So I gave up on that dream. Now when ever I can afford college, I'd either like to be an interpreter or a music therapist.
What about you?

Ah my mind changes, I can recall wanting to become a teacher, vet, chemist (that dream died quickly though XD), lab researcher, therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, lawyer, nurse and most recently pediatrician or pharmacist.
What I've noticed though is that through all of my dream jobs, all I really wanted was to help people. Not like a lab researcher though since I can't meet the people that I'm helping, I want to see who I'm helping. I want to see that I've really helped them and that I can see the relief that they have.
It was always in my personality, I've known it since I was little and so did everyone else 3nodding

I feel the same. I just want to help or make a difference. Even if it's just a really small difference. 4laugh

Exactly, because that one person is the entire world to others. We're all important to the people around us. Some people just can't see that.

Ooh Lenelee you said you'd like to become an interpreter. Do you mean that you know different languages or something? (trying to find a new subject to talk about XD)

I don't know anything fluently, but I'm a fast learner. I'd like to re-learn Russian or learn Japanese.

I did Chinese for grades 10 & 11 but didn't have room for it this year. I miss it. And I can't learn french if my life depended on it. But yet I pick up the more complicated Chinese much easier.

Russian seems interesting and so does German. I hear French is extremely difficult because of all the silent vowels and letters and such. Sounds like a pain. I believe I'm going to stick with Spanish as I'm already taking Spanish 3 (failing though DX) If there's any language I'd like to learn, it's Latin.

What I want to learn is Japanese, but all my school has is spanish, german, and chinese. So I went with chinese. It's not bad, seeing as japanese & chinese share a lot of words/characters.

I never was a fan of french. In high school I took two years of Spanish, a half year of German *didn't care for it* and a year/half of Russian. I loved it!!! Those were the four languages my school offered.

Russian sounds kinda cool, but I've never been able to take it. I think if I had the chance I would have.
