They do, but then Gaia glitches and you lose the items and the gold you spent.

*poof* a giant exactt time machine is in the living room and you you are the only one whos sees it but the bad thing is you can only use once a day for 12 hours

i guess you wish for nothing so poof wish granted your house is gone and you are magicly transported to an island with nothing on it so you are left there to die with no of survival

your wish is granted and you win first place in the arena, but the subsequent "fame" leads you to get hacked. They steal all your stuff and get your banned.

Granted, but when you open it, it explodes all over the place, shorting your computer and monitor and making your keyboard disturbingly sticky.

The snow and all other precipitation stop, but they do not restart for a year, causing famine and starvation. You become very thin and develop a deep-rooted aversion to canned food.
