Milly nodded in understanding. "Alright. I'll talk to you more later if anything develops." she said, offering him a smile as he left. After that, Milly went and layed back down on her bed and closed her eyes.
Before long, Ariae went on to think about other, more recent ventures. Her lips spread into a wide grin and her cheeks heated up slightly.

It took Jaquel a while to search most of the mansion for wherever Ariae might be before heading into the garden to find her, coming up and giving her a kiss on the forehead to alert her to his presence.

"Why wouldn't I be? Things are going particularly well, aren't they?" Ariae asked, completely oblivious to the current threat that they now faced.

"Well...I hate to burst your bubble, but....Milly tells me my worse half has somehow returned, for once without seizing my body." Jaquel said with a sigh, feeling a little bad for crushing her mood.

Ariae blinked a couple times in surprise. "What?" she asked, in utter shock for the first couple of secconds. Afterwards, she took a slightly irritated look, "If something bad happens to us again, I'm not going to take it very well." she warned him, clenching her teeth.

"I know, I know...If we can just try to avoid him, great. If a fight is necessary, hopefully I can lay him to rest once and for all. Otherwise I can see if that god would help. The demon's given us all problems at some point or another." Jaquel said with a sigh.

Ariae nodded. "Thank you for telling me." After a moment she gave Jaquel a light peck on the cheek and offered a weak smile. "Let's not worry about that too much, though. It'll only bring uneeded stress, am I right?"
