Haven't done much today. Just finished working on a Left-Right game version of Alice in Wonderland's story, for my Un-B-Day party. 3nodding And right now I'm creating a mock invitation, since I didn't need to make one this time around (since I used Facebook). Mostly making a mock invitation so I can look back and remember what theme I did for this year. 3nodding

I actually think these year's invitation is going to be my favorite of the invitations I've made so far for my past B-Day parties. Probably because the design will be a bit more... interesting. *shrugs* Or at least it'll look like I put more work and effort to it, rather than just some randomly thrown together thing.

I just got an e-mail from the library I had the interview for. I didn't get the job. sad
Guess I can just focus on my schooling again now.

Today was my last day of my Jane Austen class. It was sad knowing that it was over with. And I've been wondering whether I'll run into any of my classmates again in any of my future classes I'll be taking. It would be cool to see some familiar faces around, that's for sure.

After my class, I headed to my Grandma's, since my Dad went over there to finish working on the new set of stairs. With their Planter's Day parade being this Saturday, their town was setting everything up to be ready for the parade. Mowing, putting barkdust in the flower gardens, putting garbage cans out, putting detour signs up, etc., etc.

With looking at the 5 waiting for reply, I have a feeling they won't be coming. I know one probably won't come because it's Sunday, and she'll probably go to church, thus meaning no other plans for her day. But who knows... she might show up... assuming she's even seen the invite. I haven't seen her online for awhile. At least she hasn't posted anything recently to let me know she's been around. One of them I know won't come because she's in Cali. But I still thought of inviting her, just for the heck of it. xd The other three I'm not really sure about, but I have feeling they won't be coming.

Of the 7 Maybes... I can actually see some of them actually coming, assuming there aren't other events that suddenly show up that prevent them from coming. There's probably only one or two that I'm still leaning towards the "Probably Not Coming" direction. *shrugs*

The next few days are going to be quite eventful. Saturday there's the possibility of going to the Planter's Day parade. Sunday is my Un-B-Day party. Tuesday is the first day of my Native American Literature class. 3nodding

My friend just posted on his Facebook status that Charles Hooper, leading lawyer defending the ban on same sex marriage in California, stated that allowing gays to marry would make heterosexual men more likely to abandon their families.
*sighs while shaking her head*
People and their theories about what will happen if gay marriage is allowed...

I honestly don't think allowing gay marriage is going to break up a bunch of families. *shakes head* And why do people always say that it's going to be the men who will leave? What about the women? The women are just as likely to be living secret lives as the men are, if that's what Hooper is suggesting.

*chuckles*
I'll just call my friend Esmerald for now - since he cosplayed as Esmerald in our Sailor Moon RP. xd
Anyway, one of Esmerald's friends replied to his status and said this in response:
"That he himself would be gay if only the laws allowed him to marry a man."
