"That could work." Sub admitted as he looked up at the cave's ceiling. "Go ahead, knock one down."

"I would, but I'm worried about bringing the cave down with it." He nods his head towards RC, his jacket fluttering lightly in the same direction as he does so. "He seems the trustworthy type, let him do it."

RC taps his chin. He then charges up an Energy Ball, flattens it out into a disc, and then tosses it at the stalagmite. It would slice through and leave much more of the rocky formation intact as it came crashing down.

Rhyme watches with interest as it happens, then nods. Slides down RC's back and gets to ground, nose twitching--

Oh. Oh. She smiles and scrambles in a careful manner down the cliff, eyes and ears and...nose alert. The water bed is still soft, and she doesn't mind getting dirty while she digs through the ground, starting to spark in delight as within the first few minutes she's found the first of a few stashes she can sense.

RC follows Rhyme, wanting to dig out any stones she might find as well as defend from any incoming wild pokemon.

Sub stayed up above for now, watching them go to work down below. He was the leader after all, the supervisor if you will. It's a boring job but someone has to do it.

"Larvitar?" Chimed a small green Pokemon as it popped its head out of the rocky wall above Rhyme. "Lar lar!" Two more echoed the first as they popped out of the wall on either side of the girl as well. It was probably at this point which RC might start to get worried, where Larvitar fed there was a momma not too far away.

"Pupitar!" Roared a tough purple coccoon as it unlatched its self from the ceiling below. The rock type was bringing down some of the ceiling with it as well as it executed a Rock Slide.

"Larvitar... Pupitar..." Darts counts out loud, ticking away golden fingers as he does so. "What does Pupitar turn into..." he muses, out loud as he continues to lean against the cave wall.

She's got the thunderstones gathered into her bag for space, prying up the next one before looking up towards the noise. "Lar...vitar?" They're so cute, she wants one, but she knows she has no space for it. But then...well...

She was not expecting the roar, and looks up in shock as the ceiling starts falling down. "RC! Watch out!" Something about the cocoon was off, but it seemed angry with them bothering the space. She had figured that in the beginning, jumping backwards out of the way but ending up with her foot in mud and pressed back against the Rayquaza hybrid. They were obviously rock-types; she was at the disadvantage here.

RC would put up a Protect to shield him and Rhyme. "Sub, this mission has become far too dangerous. We need to go, now. A pissed off mama Tyranitar is nothing to mettle with, and isn't worth the stones we are after." The Hybrid says to the Snagem Leader. RC then starts to charge up a Energy Ball. He had to at least try and chase off that Pupitar to give them any chance of retreat.

Sub just watched as this scene unfold. It's not like he didn't warn them multiple times about the local Pokemon population. In fact, he did on the way here each time. "Leave? Now? I think not. You both knew the risks of coming here. Now do your job RC and protect my little miner while she digs me up some money." The Snagem leader replied as he tossed a Dusk Ball down into the 'ravine'.

"Dile!" Roared Auguste the Kroodile as he appeared from the ball. "Auguste, why don't you-" Before he could give his command his attention was whisked away by the rather violent Pupitar. Said Pokemon looked like it had a grudge against RC as the Hard Shell Pokemon began to jump up and down angrily, summoning forth massive chunks of rock from the ground, wrapped in a rainbow aura. Despite having enough to bombard everyone here the Pupitar slung them all at RC, one after another.

RC growls as he uses his Extremespeed to evade the incoming rocks. The Dragon knew what this was. Cheeky little rock type. He then starts making his way forward, comes underhand with his Energy Ball and slings it at the Pupitar. If he has the pathing right, it would be a dead-on hit midmast. That Pupitar would be in a world of hurt.

"I didn't want to hurt the pokemon! There could have been a way to mine without blocking the river!" She calls out, the protect glimmering, defending them. Quietly, the Pachirisu hybrid stays out of the way, breathing in and out and on high alert, scampering to the next pile. She wonders if Sub actually cares for their safety and is not just a crazed lunatic.

The next one is still in the bed. Great on her. Not big of a drop, provides shelter..somewhat. The Hybrid begins digging, continues adding the stones she finds to her bag, thankful for their more magical properties.

The Energy Ball would slam into the Pupitar, completely shattering its 'body' to pieces. Hopefully Rhyme didn't see that since it was a good long moment before the Pupitar shot up out of the ground beneath RC, covered in sharp stones as it aimed to stab RC with a Stone Edge. It apparently had used Shed Skin to avoid the Energy Ball.

"That's a pretty fast Pupitar." Sub commented. "As for you, Rhyme, if we don't mind the stones then the Pokemon still get harmed. These Thunderstones aren't here naturally after all. So no matter what we do the wild Pokemon aren't coming out on top. Lesser of two evils my dear." Auguste, who had been sent out before the Pupitar decided to go wild on RC, decided on his own terms to start help Rhyme dig out the Thunderstones, he would wait until she found a pocket of stones and just start digging where he assumed she found them.

For it being fast, it just gave RC a great big target. RC whips his tail down while using Iron Tail to counter the incoming blow. Let's see how it likes a bit of Iron in it's diet.

"Then that means they're agitated by the stones. I'd...rather help them..." She murmurs; she supposes she should have thought more before talking, looking up when the Pokemon comes to her, staring curiously. She finds another pocket, and notes the pokemon starts to dig. She grabs them as they appear, aiding the digging so it goes much faster, before her nose twitches.

Was that a large jolt of energy? Electric energy? She almost starts salvating, and as the electric energy blanks her mind she tears from the pile and takes off deeper, nose to scent like a bloodhound to prey. And this one is visible, stuck in the wall, glowing. Why did it just catch her now? Shouldn't she have scented it earlier? Something odd, but it was a large thunderstone...right?
