During high school, I preferred eating my french fries with tartar sauce, rather than ketchup.

When I was younger, my favorite Disney movie was Cinderella. I even dressed up as her and grabbed my little broom to help sweep... or asked if I could help wash the floor ((Nightingale, anyone?)).

Random information I found about an Admiral Watson... "Halfland Barns, a small hamlet situated on a ridge south of Tantallon Castle, was known for its weavers around 1700, including the Watson and Gloag families. The Watson's had three sons who joined the navy, the youngest rose to the rank of Admiral. In 1775, he was appointed commander of the fleet in the Indian Ocean and assisted Clive to take Calcutta. Admiral Watson is buried in Westminster Abbey, where a monument was erected to his memory." http://www.north-berwick.co.uk/history_landowners.asp

Through another bit of information about the Watson buried in Westminister Abbey, this Admiral Watson's first name was Charles. Not the Watson I'm looking for...
*continues reading*
Whoa! eek Okay... this is really interesting to read about.
"In the adjoining aisle, but more to the east, is another monument, to Admiral Holmes, an officer whom mention occurs repeatedly in these pages."
How interesting is that? Across from Admiral Watson is an Admiral Holmes. Who knew that Watson and Holmes existed before the Sherlock Holmes series. xd

*sighs* I wish I could make some major break through finding... especially for my Mom.
If it wasn't for that show "Who Do You Think You Are?", I wouldn't be so fascinated with this ancestor of mine. Ever since I watched the first episode of it and looked at the genealogy stuff my Mom's done and learned about the limited information about Thomas John and his father, I became intent on finding something.
As you've seen, I think I find something... only to realize it's not the Watson I'm looking for.

Hmm... I'm thinking of going and making dinner, so that it's ready for Dad when he comes home. biggrin I'll have to go look up the recipe and decide from that. If it's simple I can do on my own, then I'll do it.
