Team Snagem HQ (Mt. Silver)

RC would be trailing all the way back, just behind Darts. He didn't trust that guy. He then sees the rolling Golem. He waits for it to near him before lashing out with an Iron Tail. RC was at bat and he just contacted with a mighty swing! Now could he hit this megaton ball out of the park?  

[Not a Noise]

"....As you had said?" Is all Rhyme can say before she's tackled to the side, away from the scary rolling Pokemon. However, hearing a noise like a ball to a bat--in a sense--and her ears perk, trying to catch whoever it was that hit that, nose twitching. Beneath the odor she's successfully identifying as Sub, was that...Kiseru? Was it RC?

And the Golem went flying, right off the ground and sent into the darkness of the cave, not to be seen again. "Always showing up at the last second to play the hero, huh RC?" Sub said as he got up off the ground, pulling Rhyme up to her feet.

RC holds his follow-through and admires his handiwork. He lets off a puff of smoke from his Kiseru and chuckles. "Just happened to work out that way this time. Think I set a distance record with that one." he quips as he strides forward.

Rhyme climbs up with Sub's help and thanks him...but at the recognition of the voice she's off like a bullet, barreling into RC and pretty much climbing up his back to wrap her arms around his neck, nuzzling the scales. If he were more her size it would have been a run and hug like she'd do for Beat but he's taller so this is needed. "Good to see you!" She chirps, ending up sitting a bit silly with her legs hooked around his shoulders, the Kiseru a comforting scent.

Rhyme climbs up with Sub's help and thanks him...but at the recognition of the voice she's off like a bullet, barreling into RC and pretty much climbing up his back to wrap her arms around his neck, nuzzling the scales. If he were more her size it would have been a run and hug like she'd do for Beat but he's taller so this is needed. "Good to see you!" She chirps, ending up sitting a bit silly with her legs hooked around his shoulders, the Kiseru a comforting scent.

RC smiles as Rhyme climbs up him and onto his shoulders. "Good to see you doing well too, little one." RC replies.

"Hero comes and the girl jumps into his arms, typical." Sub mused aloud as he then looked around to get a feel for his surroundings. "So, RC, care to join us in our little expedition?" He asked the hybrid as he began to walk deeper into the cave. "Rhyme here is going to help me find some Thunderstones."

"I don't see why I can't? and a good idea bringing her along. She should be able to find them out rather easily, considering." RC says as he walks along with Rhyme now stationed on his shoulders.

She puffs her cheeks because she can't argue; in a way, Sub's logic did make sense. Oh, so that's what he was talking about. Thunderstone hunting sounded fun, especially if she could keep one for her own purposes. "Glad to have you. Two's good company, but three is a party." She says, ducking low to rest near the scales, eyes and ears and mind alert. Off to find the place to find the stones! At least, their starting point.

"Ah, well then keep close. Things can get rough very quick here. Isn't that right, Darts?" Sub called out to their stalker, he knew he was following them for awhile now. You don't lead a bunch of hybrids by being slow.

Darts glances mildly at RC charging over his shoulder and sighs, having known that Sub would pick up on him sooner or later. "Too true." He yawns, as RC takes apart the Golem, and steps past everyone to hand Sub a shiny silver briefcase. "Here. Mission accomplished."

"Figures you would be the one to carry about that mission." Sub said as he took the briefcase from Darts. He didn't need to open it, he knew what was inside and he was pleased with how heavy it was. Plus Darts wouldn't cheat him, he knew better than that...that is, Darts knew better. "Did you keep your cut? I trust you did. Regardless you are just in time for our next money making scheme. Thunderstones."

The way to the stream wasn't particularly tasking, just dark. Sub had pulled out Ulalume, his Malamar, to once again provide light. Once they made it there the Snagems would be greeted to a large stream running through the cave. Sub would stop at the ledge that dropped down to the stream, staring down at the running water.

"So here we are. To be honest we aren't sure there are Thunderstones down there. All we know is the chi from the Zapdos Heart can be felt here, and it's rather strong. Don't you three feel it? You should especially, Rhyme. Either way it had been long since removed and its influence still lingers, particularly here. Furthermore the stream is contaminated by its chi, its chi sent flowing down the water way and empowering Pokemon who consume enough of it. The only explanation is something is consistently contaminating the water with the Zapdos Heart's chi, there is no other way that running water could remain this way." He explained. "The theory is the excess amounts of chi from the Zapdos Heart crystallized here and created Thunderstones or perhaps Electric Gems. After all, that's all they are. Crystallized chi. And the Zapdos Heart has plenty to spare."

"So, I suppose the first program is diverting or damming up the stream to examine it closer. Ideas?" He asked his friends.

"Nah, no cut this time. We needed funds and I'm good at drumming up money." Darts yawns again as Sub explains the situation. He could sense the chi Sub was talking about, scattered about on the base of the river in small pockets. "We could collapse some stalactites if we feel good about the cavern's stability, dam the river that way." he suggests, leaning back against a wall nearby, his red eyes scanning the water amiably.

As they went further down, her fur, her skin, every part of her tingled and thrummed. She remembered the electric that flew through her on the tower, when she blacked out and fell. Yes, that energy she could sense, and she was surprised about how strong it was. Powerful heart indeed. This would be a fun task. "I don't want to anger pokemon...if there are any in the water the dam would affect..." Her voice echoed like the light did, watching if he would honestly knock one down. The thrum was like an itch, one she tapped out on RC's scales as she nodded to Sub. "Some have...the waters a bit scattering in sound but I think there are...at least two areas with deposits."
