 I hope that I'll be able to get the fabric I need for my Sailor Venus costume soon and can actually start working on creating it. I've been waiting for a week or two now for my Mom to take enough time to help me determine how much fabric I need for everything and to come with me to buy the fabric. But there's always something that's going on that prevents us to take the time to do it. *sighs* I don't have much more time left to be diddle-daddling about.

Last night my Mom asked me if I would ever go on a blind date. I don't know if I would or not. Anyway, apparently there's a bunch of interns at my Mom's work that are about my age. I don't know if Mom is actually being serious about the whole blind date thing or if it was just a spontaneous question.

Good afternoon everyone. My Dad got about a half or two-thirds of the way done with the roof he's working on right now. He probably would have gotten the rest done if the sun wasn't shining on the one part he needed to do for so long. Trying to do roofing in 70+ degree weather isn't too fun.

It always gives me a brief moment of delight when I see that I've received a message from someone. Though there are the occasional messages that are completely random and leave me confused on where the context is coming from. *laughs* Although some of the things said are thought provoking, I don't like the feeling of having missed something important in the conversation.

On Monday, my Mom and I went to get the fabric I needed for my Sailor Venus costume I'll be making for the anime convention I'm going to on Labor Day weekend. She also bought a new sewing machine online and it should be arriving soon.
I can't wait until I can start the actual creation process. I know I'm cutting a bit close with the timing to create this costume but thankfully it's one that will be easy to put together, especially when I'll have my Mom to help guide me during the parts I'm uncertain about.
My Mom has already been daydreaming about how to make my costume, lol. Sort of funny to hear some of the ideas she's pitched to me.

I've still been watching Supernatural every night. Sometimes I still am amazed that this show is aired on The CW. Having watched quite a few shows on The CW and noticing a pattern in the style of stories, Supernatural completely breaks the trend. And that's a good thing! Supernatural has a great cast and superb stories. There's never a dull moment or less-than-perfect episode. There's never been a moment when I question whether I want to keep watching the show or not like I've done with other shows in the past.
And my love for Castiel continues to grow.
