After Sol’s attack, Freth’s feathers rapidly dimmed back down and she ended up having to brace up against something. A nearby rock wall was the ticket. Really, it didn’t matter to her. She was feeling sick, her head had the nastiest headache that she had in a while, and she was completely drained of any sort of energy, barely capable of standing at this point. ”Freth, are you alright?” The hunter spoke up. “Perhaps that was a bit too much too soon.”

“You don’t say…” Freth grumbled out.

“Hurry up and get it together. You’re not out of this yet.” Eris then stated. “Otherwise the next rock is sure to fall on you.”

“There’s got to be better ways to go about this.” Freth then moaned out.

“The problem is that you’re not getting any time to practice much of anything other than what you can sneak in here and there on these excursions. And after them, you’re trying to aid in whatever recovery of your Pokemon or some other stuff you have to do. God knows that you’re probably going to need to end up investigating more into Area Zero after we’re done here, provided if we even make it off this hill at this point. All the same, you’re not actually making any progress.” Eris then stated.

Glalie made his way back down towards Freth and started to look at her in concern. Freth tried to keep it at ease by stroking the top of him, between the horns, though it was probably not easing any concerns. Freth wasn’t really putting any manner of effort into the affection, still too exhausted to do much. The Glalie then turned away, looking up then roared out. “LIeee! Glaa-Leee!”

Freth looked up towards the sky seeing the titanic bird preparing something. Winds started to kick up and she had to end up holding on tight. “Oh, now what!?” Freth then said. “Sol, I don’t suppose you got any other ideas!?” Freth then shouted.

Tsuki didn’t notice the cover offered by his teammates, instead partially covering his eyes with a hand to prevent himself being blinded by the Sunny Day/Solar Beam blade that Sol used to cleanly slice the Titan Bombirdier’s boulder in half. He made sure to reach out when he felt the tug of a Pokemon at his leg, Maggie using her trainer to keep herself steady from being blasted back by the force of the attack. When it was over, when the boulder felt into two even parts that crumpled into smaller rocks without crushing anyone and the best the enemy could do initially was scream in anger, he knew that what he was feeling was awe and that he wanted to be able to protect other people just like that. He could only let people and his family treat him however which way they wanted to for so long. Even if he wasn’t a hybrid (let alone a legendary one), maybe there was something that Sol could show him.

Kneeling low to keep him and Maggie steady in spite of the raging Whirling, Tsuki knew that despite his comparative experience he was already standing next to the most well trained Pokemon he had ever trained before. She was small, a bit lazy, and had a bit of an attitude. But when the chips were down, she could do more than set up Smokescreens or Fire Spins. “We’re gonna give that bird some hell before it can use that attack!” he declared, putting a fist up close to his head and looking at his first Pokemon. “Hit it with all you got with a Flamethrower!“

Without a fight, the Magby jumped in front of her trainer and inhaled as much air as she could muster, reaching both of her arms up into the air and letting the excess Fire Chi from the Sunny Day flow into her. When her trainer threw his fist forward into a point at the Bombirdier and yelled “Now!” she likewise roared herself and let loose a stream of white-hot fire, almost twice as hot as she could muster on her own without the weather and larger than the frame of the duckling causing it.

Odd couldn't help but watch in awe as everyone's efforts amounted to little more than wasted energy until Sol struck the decisive blow that cleaved the massive boulder in twain. Between the two legendary hybrids in their party and their psionic abilities, the halved boulder was pulled apart, leaving Entr'Acte's defense to serve little purpose beyond serving as an umbrella for the dust that fell from the pieces as they were hurled down the mountainsides on either side of the Snagems.

Quietly recalling his pair of Ghosts, Odd thought for a moment. He had only one Pokemon who would be a truly good choice against this beast of a Pokemon on him and she was one of his least trained. In fact, she was one of his most recent acquisitions. "A'Niente!" He called out, tossing out the ball containing the Nacli he had caught while out hunting for the first of these accursed herbs.

"Use Rock Throw!" The small Pokemon hopped in place for a moment before a large clump of salt formed above it, encased in a thick layer of brown, rocky energy. A'Niente slid forward slightly as she moved, seemingly using her position as a slingshot to hurl the salt lump at Bombirdier.

The Aura Spheres would do little to stop the twisters, the Flying energy they were composed off disrupting the spheres of energy and harmlessly breaking them up. One of the twisters would threaten Beau as it passed over him but his 'spiteful plant' was quick to anchor them in a slightly painful manner as the Leech Seed roots held them down. Hopefully Beau didn't have anything loose on him. Speaking of one of the Whirlwind twisters decided it was going to turn back around and zip towards Odd from behind.

The rocks thrown at the bird were empowered by a Helping Hand, causing them to have a little more force behind them as they slammed into the Bombirdier, the Titan however maintaining its focus all the while and continued to gather energy. It wasn't until a certain olive harmlessly bounced off it followed up by twin Flamethrowers striking the bird and igniting the Powder covered fruit resulting in a sizeable explosion. The explosion knocking it back and disrupting its build up of Dark energy.

"Booomb!" Screeched the bird as it was blasted back and then zapped by a Thunderbolt. As it was struck it lost its control over the gathered Dark energy, bolts of Dark energy wildly firing off in all directions, one bolt even striking the Titan itself but most importantly it now threatening the Snagems.

When all was done and said the Titan Pokemon landed on the peak as it tried to regain its composure and because it now found flight tedious as it was covered in hot olive oil thanks to that exploding olive, the peak quaking slightly as it landed. This was when the Skiddo tried to rush it with Rollout, the bird smacking it away without issue with one of its wings before defiantly releasing a Hyper Voice at the Snagems. "Bombiiiird!" It screeched at them, the force of its shout generating a shock wave that sent smaller pebbles and dirt flying.

Now angrier than ever the Titan Pokemon would reel its head back and then strike out at the Snagems with Peck, its enormous beak aimed straight at Freth. The Bombirdier would pull back and strike again with Peck, now targeting the stationary Beau. Whether or not Beau or his Pokemon were struck a pair of olives would fall off of Arboliva in the assault and roll across the ground.

"Tsuki, get with Beau and blow up more olives on it. That burning oil not only hurt the Titan Pokemon severely but it also coated its feathers making it more difficult to fly. Simulations deduced with enough oil coating it flight will become impossible. Now would be a perfect opportunity before it becomes airborne again." GRAY called out to Tsuki from the SNAG on his person, deciding he was in the best position to maybe do something with this plan. Hopefully Beau and his Arboliva didn't get skewered first.

Before Freth could get any manner of reply, Freth ended up having to brace herself against the rock face as the gigantic Bomberdier practically roared out with its Hyper Voice. The sound rocked both her and Glalie to their very core. Already feeling in terrible shape from over-exerting herself from trying to hold back that boulder for long enough, all Freth could do for the moment was keep her head down, trying to shield herself rather futilely against the concussive force let alone the dirt and debris as it scoured both her and Glalie. “Augh, Glalie, are you alright!?” She tried to yell out to her Pokémon.

“Gla-lie!”

“Freth, are you just going to stand there and wait to be killed out here!?” Eris shouted.

“I’m trying to figure something out! This isn’t exactly in any one’s wheelhouse you know! Maybe if a certain someone didn’t make me lose out on using ice!” Freth shouted within to her mental resident.

“Like you would be able to single-handedly be able to take on this thing even if you had your ice.”

“I’d be better able to help!” she said.

“LIE!” Out of nowhere, Glalie rammed into Freth knocking the both of them onto the ground, the Bombirdier, with its Peck attack smashing the rock Freth was trying to brace up against to recover from her sudden mental burnout.

“Crap! Ugh…thanks Glalie…” Freth said, pushing herself back up off the ground. As she started to get up, Freth overheard the traffic over the SNAG. Tsuki and Beau being charged to ground the bird. “…I suppose we can try to distract this thing long enough for those two to get to it.” Freth said to Glalie. “Glalie, Ice Fang!” she shouted. “Be careful, but hang on tight!”

Glalie rushed into the fray, trying to sneak in its attack as best as it could. When Glalie saw his opportunity, he lunged in, fangs frosted and ready to clamp down on anything. A wing, its neck, heck, anyone would probably settle for tail-feathers. Damage wasn’t the name of the game. Yet.

"Got your attention, eh?" Sol remarked, looking to the Bombirdier before jumping back and making some distance from the forming twisters. The thought of using the twisters against them had come to mind, and with the others' attacks, maybe there'd be a decent chance. He and his Quilava were forced to brace themselves against the Hyper Voice before much could be done in the way of a response, and once the chance came, he'd see the twisters might not be the best thing to try and work with. He'd still have Quilava move to his side instead of trying to use him as a shield for any further rocks.

Seeing the titan try to attack Beau, he'd quickly send a Thunderbolt in hopes of distracting it. Or accidentally being a further reason for an Arboliva to lose their olives, which might not be the worst outcome with GRAY's advice. "That might work, actually... Calida, generate a Smokescreen and aim it as high as you can! We'll focus on making it even harder for them to get back in the air or see. The rest of you, keep them busy for Tsuki and Beau!" As Calida let the flame sacs on her back burn just enough to create billows of smoke, Sol would quickly follow up with a hard flap of his wings to try and direct it closer to Bombirdier, in an effort to provide further disruption that might lead to yet more olive oil dousing the titan.

“Ack-!” Tsuki yelped as the Hyper Voice nearly knocked he and his Magby flat on their backs, the duo having to cover their ears for protection. Maggie herself really didn’t look as good as she could. A powerhouse in the sun she was, a wall against a roc sized bird she was not.

When the resident AI spoke out of his SNAG though, Tsuki looked at it and nodded. The Bombirdier had taken significant damage, if they could just restrict it’s mobility, someone could make a move to either KO or catch it. “Good idea GRAY, c’mon Mags!” He said, scooping up Maggie into his arms and making a run for Beau and the- oh was that the Titan Arboliva from the day before? Feeling his second Pokeball shake on his belt, he gripped his free hand over the device to keep the Applin inside from going back for another snack. Maybe now wasn’t the BEST time for his little buddy’s battle debut. “You stay inside your ball until it’s safe dude.”

“Hey Beau, right? Can you get your Pokemon to toss it’s olives over that Bombirdier?!” Tsuki called out, holding his own Magby now with two hands. Her beak sparked with Fire Chi in anticipation. “I dunno how your Charizard is feeling, but I know we can hit ‘em mid air with an Ember barrage and rain hot oil all over the thing to keep it from lifting off.” The trainer pointed his baby Pokemon above the Titan and closed one eye to help with aiming.

Odd could only watch as the various Snagems attacked Bombirdier and attempted to dispel it's Whirlwind attacks or disrupt whatever Dark-type move it was preparing to use. The latter was managed but it seemed the various twisters continued to do their thing for a bit even after the bird's focus was broken. As it went to attack Freth, he started to call for A'Niente to attack again but was suddenly caught by a whirlwind from behind, quickly sucked into the whirling gale and being thrown about like a ragdoll for several long seconds. "Gah! Help!"

A'Niente saw the other humans were preoccupied by Big Bird's goth cousin and decided to do what she could to help, dashing toward Odd and throwing herself into the whirlwind with a silvery sheen enveloping her quickly as she leaped into the whorl, slamming directly into Odd's chest and shoving him out the opposite side with an audible "thwack" as her iron-hard stone body met his meat suit with a Heavy Slam.

"Oof!" Odd coughed as he hit the ground with the nearly forty pounds of sapient salt momentarily crushing his lungs before she bounced off and turned herself into a sort of wheel chock to stop her new human from rolling down the mountain. "Thanks..." Odd groaned, trying to set himself back upright. "Think you can manage to hit that bird with another Rock Throw?" He asked of the overgrown salt lick Pokemon.

"Nac!" A'Niente replied, quickly forming a large chunk of salt and throwing it at Bombirdier again, aiming to knock its head to the side and throw off its aim.

Brian frowned as his plan to stop use the twisters was shot down, in a sense. Figures, Aura Spheres weren't exactly stable in the first place. Randy fared a bit better with his Thunderbolt, landing a solid hit that made the Bombirdier cry out in pain. Thankfully, this disrupted whatever Dark-type attack it was about to unleash, and he had an idea. Sure, the Titan was weak to Electric- and Rock-type moves, but it also had a partial weakness to Fighting-type moves, though that would be lessened thanks to its secondary Flying-typing, as well.

"Protect!" he ordered, right as the Titan used Hyper Voice. Both Lu and Randy were quick to execute the protective barrier, waiting until the attack died down before attacking again. Lu acted on her own, racing toward Beau and attempting to punch the Bombirdier in the face with a fist that crackled with Electrical energy. Seeing this gave Brian an idea. If Lu could pull off a combination....

"Randy, use Thunderbolt again, keep it occupied," he said, and the Dunsparce didn't hesitate to shoot a few more Thunderbolts at the Titan. Brian beckoned to Lu, who came over curiously. "I have an idea," he said, gaining her attention. "I know ye can't learn it normally, but I want ye to try and make an improvised Electro Ball. Use the Electrical energy from Thunder Punch and fuse it into an Aura Sphere if ye can. Don't be discouraged if it doesn't work; this is only a test to see if it can actually be done."

The Lucario nodded and produced an Aura Sphere, holding it in place while she began to slowly infuse it with Electric-type energy. It took a few moments, longer than Brian would have liked, and when she had finished, she was panting a bit. That had taken a bit more energy than she was expecting, but the Aura Sphere she held had a slight yellow tinge to it. "We won't do this more than once, so go ahead and fire at the Titan," he said. "Aim for a weak point." Lu nodded and fired the electrified Aura Sphere, hoping that it would actually hit.

Rachel cried out as Clint was sent flying from the Bombirdier batting him away with its wing. The Skiddo managed to land on his hooves, thankfully, but he was sent skidding backward until he landed in front of his trainer. That hadn't exactly hurt, but it hadn't felt good, either. Still, he was mostly in fighting shape, and Rachel wondered what she could do now. There weren't many moves that Clint could learn naturally that weren't Grass-type moves, something that wasn't going to help them here. As she was thinking about their next move, Clint suddenly vanished from her sight, appearing a short distance away as the Bombirdier unleashed its Hyper Voice. Ah, he'd used Substitute. That was a good idea, but it cut his health in half, so they would have to be careful not to get hit with any Flying-type attacks.

Before she could give him any instructions, Cling walked into the center of his teammates, then lifted his head and cried out his name as a green wave of energy exploded from his hooves, surrounding their side of the plateau. As he did so, he glowed a bit, some of his health restored from the Grassy Terrain he'd just used, before he turned his attention to Rachel and waited for a command. Knowing what she did about Bombirdier, Rachel gave a nod. "I think it needs a lesson in manners," she said. "Let's show it what we think of it with a Play Rough, shall we?" Clint gave a small smirk as he surrounded himself with the Fairy-type energy and launched himself forward, aiming to hit anything he could on the Bombirdier.

The sudden crash landing had certainly done nothing to aid in his efforts to figure out what exactly he could do. The sudden bolts of the disrupted attack lancing around Beau and his Arboliva's exposed bits didn't help either. They especially didn't help since their crashed position made it so any of the bolts that would've hit them were instead absorbed by the large body of Zippo that laid between them and the Bombirdier. Letting the Leech Seed vines retract and wither as the danger of being blown away subsided, Hestia wouldn't notice the Bombirdier that was threatening to spear her trainer. After all, who was she to care for that annoying bug? The thing that worried her was the bolt of electricity that was streaking towards her. But she wasn't going to take such a blow when she had ways to avoid such unnecessary damage.

Sweeping her limbs towards her trainer, she would pick up the still visibly dazed and immobile Vivllon hybrid. While this made sure he wasn't speared by the Bombirdier's Peck, Beau soon found himself playing lightning rod as a few olives that were dislodged between all of the crashing and Hestia's sudden rapid pivoting ended up creating the perfect trail for the Thunderbolt. Yelping as the electricity blasted him, Beau felt his muscles contract inadvertently. Releasing the burst of powder around him and his Arboliva.

A burst of very ignitable powder next to the very open flame of Zippo's tail.

With a intense thud from the pressure wave that it generated, an explosion would engulf Beau and his two Pokemon and send the already dispensed olives flying towards the Bombirdier. Alongside another wave of the oil-filled vessels as the explosion sent them scattering off of the Arboliva. While Tsuki's Magby might be able to hit a few olives and pop them open, there was definitely going to be some of the things that were just going to rain down around the area without any intervention and bludgeon the Snagems, the other Bombirdiers, any vaguely nearby tourists, and of course the Titan Bombirdier.

Aile noted what was going on with the Arboliva and furrowed her eyebrows, looking to Tatooine. “Tati, I know this isn’t normally your area, more like you just summon a howling windstorm with its best friend sand, but think you can focus that to get those things away from us? Those olives?” Tati looked between her trainer and the falling mini flammable explosives, getting behind Aile’s small entourage and flapping her wings. It wasn’t too hard for the Flygon to figure out how to shift things around, and a small, melodic hum would begin to come from her wings as a large stream of wind would start behind the dragon and the rest of the team members, shoving the olives into the Bombirdier’s direction. Though, with the olives flying towards the giant bird, Aile suddenly got another idea, looking at the bright blue Gible that also sat on the Ursaluna.

“Rancor, you want to practice those Dragon Pulses some more? You can work on accuracy, too. Aim for those olives flying when they get close to Bombirdier, see if you can’t pop them!” The small land shark nodded, sending out the small royal blue blasts at some of the small olives, the blasts looking less and less like small bouts of Dragon Breath each time? Would they be accurate? Probably not all of the time. But Rancor was going to do his best, at least.

The giant bird would let out a shriek of pain as Glalie clamped down on its leg with its icy fangs, freezing the two together. Its instinct was to peak at the problem and get it off however it would be too distracted by the Thunderbolt sent at it, the bird very briefly seizing up as it was shocked and while it really hurt it was more of an attention grabber than anything. "Booomb!" Screamed the bird as kicked a large boulder right for Sol, the stone empowered with Rock energy as it used a quick Rock Throw. Right after however a thick cloud of smoke formed, the bird making a brief choking sound as it accidentally inhaled some of the Smokescreen.

Through the smoke came a rock, the chunk of mountain slamming into the bird and again while it hurt it was more of an annoyance, especially since right after a Thunderbolt and regular Aura Sphere slammed into it, the bird shrieking in pain. Now more keen to everything coming out of the smoke it was more prepared for the incoming Play Rough, smacking Cling away with one of its mighty wings. After successfully dispatching the Pokemon the Titan felt like it had the battle back until control and let out a threatening Snarl attack.

When the olives first came flying out of the smoke the Titan would smack one away with a wing and another with its beak before things went south for it, very fast. The second olive would explode just as it bounced off its beak, a little Magby with very good aim igniting it causing the giant bird's head to fling backwards from the force of the explosion. Hot oil would going flying as the olive popped, coating its beak and the ground.

Another olive would fly and again Magby managed to ignite it from a distance, the explosion sending one of its open wings flying backwards, was it suppose to bend like that? Stumbling backwards, having almost lost its footing from the explosions, the Open Sky Pokemon gathered itself quickly and used Hyper Voice to repel the next olive coming for it, thrown by Tsuki and coupled with some Dragon Pulses, again feeling like it put an end to their little game. No more barrage of attacks!

That was until a swarm of olives came flying out of the Smokescreen.

"Bird!?" Was all the Titan could utter as it was engulfed with a series of explosions, each going off one after another all around it, around the Snagems, explosions just going off all over the peak thanks to a certain butterfly man. Rock and debris would fly all over the place from the explosions and the unfortunate regular Bombirdiers would begin to fall from the sky, their feathers scattering in the wind. As the explosions rocked the Titan it would forget it still had a hunk of living ice frozen to it and as the force of the explosions caused it to stumble it would remember the Glalie, however too late as it tripped over its own heavy foot, slipped on the oily ground and fell forward, directly towards the Snagems.

"Booom..." Groaned the Open Sky Pokemon as it laid on the peak's flat surface, its last sound before fainting. As the Pokemon lost consciousness it too would lose the power of the Herba Mystica, green energy floating up and off of its body where it would disappear into the sky above. As the energy left it so too did it lose its giant form as it began to shrink rapidly. By the time it was down

Bombirdier, the Open Sky Pokemon, has been defeated...but at what cost? The peak now looked like a war zone with numerous craters, gouges, and cracks in the maintain. Hopefully the Snagems and their Pokemon didn't suffer too much in the resulting blasts.

Aile blinked and looked around, Tatooine doing the same. “Gooon…”

“Yeah… Weren’t we supposed to not go all Snagem here?” The trainer rubbed the back of her head, looking a bit… hesitant, at least. “Right… Tati, Rancor, why don’t you two return for the moment.” She’d recall her Pokémon one at a time before looking at her bear, sliding off her back. “Dega, think you could sniff out the herbs now, maybe? Sooner we find it, sooner we can get out of here before anyone shows up.” The Ursaluna tilted her head before nodding, putting her nose to the ground and sniffing around, trying to get the scent of anything herbaceous. Hopefully, she’d pick up on that rather quick.

"That's right, keep your attention away from the others," Sol remarked, aiming to keep at goading the Bombirdier when he saw the first attack going for him rather than any of the others. The large boulder that threatened to flatten everyone was surely an effective means of attack, of course the next logical step would be to send a smaller- but still large- boulder at the one responsible for leading the charge. With the sunlight from Sunny Day still shining bright, he was able to charge another Solar Beam into his blade; as he figured, it wouldn't need as much energy to deal with this one, even with less time to react overall.

"...¿Otra? Well, if you're so inclined-"

As the smoke billowed, briefly obscuring the boulder before it became fully visible again, Sol would give a smaller repeat performance from before. He hadn't planned on creating his own double rainbow today, but it'd be what the Bombirdier could've seen if not for the current lack of vision and the apparent addition of exploding olives. As the smaller, but still potent attack crashed into the boulder and went about slicing this one in two as well, he'd see a swarm of the same olives fly forward into the Smokescreen and was quick to jump back afterward, recalling his Quilava for safety from what was surely to follow. The actions proved to be the best recourse as the explosions dispelled the smoke, revealing the massive Bombirdier right as they tripped and went crashing down. Watching as the energy floated up and away from them as the titan shrunk, there was a sense that the fight was over. The team was safe, and hopefully so was Arven...

But he'd fail to mask the nervous glances at the aftermath, looking towards Aile after her question. "You think they'd buy it if we said it was mostly the titan's fault?" He asked. "I was hoping not to play el héroe, but giant boulders have a way of forcing the hand. Hard not to go all out when the alternative would've fell flat. On the brighter side, we shouldn't have any more distractions from looking for that herb..."

Freth ended up wincing a bit, turning away from the olive-fire fueled explosion. Freth couldn’t help but to stand there in a bit of confusion, perhaps shock even. Even for her, this was…well unexpected and over the top. Didn’t imagine olive oil burning that violently. Her train of thought, however, was derailed as Glalie fell down, charred, and knocked out at her feet. She should have figured that was where it was going. It wasn’t to insinuate that plan exactly was what she signed up for. “…was that completely necessary?”

“Oh, now you’re asking that?”
Eris spoke up within her mental reaches once again.

“Shut up.”Freth said. “God, if they needed an explosion so bad, Glalie could have done that…”

“But would it have taken that bird out?”

“………..probably not.”

She would take out a Glalie’s Pokeball and recalled the fallen Pokémon back in to it, grateful as always to her loyal ice types. “So provided that we didn’t take out that Herba Mystica in the process of all of this, and hopefully we don’t get a second helping of another Titan Pokémon like we did back at those mesas with Arboliva and the Klawf, where the heck do you all suppose it is around here?” Freth then asked.
