Thunder Wave. It wasn't a horrible move to be hit with, but now Sheena was covered in sparks. There was a chance it would hinder her attacking ability. Cheria curled her hair with her finger nervously. Well, she couldn't just not attack. That'd be a forfeit. "Try and use Water Pulse, Sheena!" Sheena managed to ignore the sparks and send the pulsating water blast at Amaura, doing a lot of damage to her. Yes! "Way to go, Sheena! That was great!"

His attack seemed a little futile as it didn't even seem to bother the Water Type. It was followed by a strong Water Pulse that Delt quite a bit of damage. "Well well well that was different tham from what I expected, Good job Cheria" he wasn't going to forget her name. At least this time, he still couldn't figure out just why she looked familiar. "Don't forget though this is a Gym battle and I won't take it easy. Hit them with Take Down" Amaura launched forward and tackled the Water starter. Dealing damage to both of them

Cheria cringed a bit when Sheena was attacked with Amaura's take down. But, she seemed perfectly fine and eager to finish the little long neck off. Phew. "You almost sound confused when you say my name. It's okay; it's been years. Sheena, use Water Pulse again!" She would have used Bubble, but that was a weaker attack and would have prolonged the battle longer. And, prolonging her stay in Cyllage was what she was trying to prevent. And, luckily, paralysis was on her side because Sheena was able to move through it to attack.

It was surprising how little the electricity was bothering Sheena. One would expect that a water type would be more prone to being fully paralyzed when hit with a thunder wave, but perhaps that was just homage to how well trained she was. With the second water pulse, Grant's amaura was taken out, and returned to her pokeball with a flash of light. "You did well amaura. Get some rest." He said quietly with a smile. Cheria commented that he sounded confused when he said her name, dropping hints that it had been years, so it was understandable. "Er, yeah, haha. Sorry, you seem familiar, but a lot of people come and go through the gym, so the faces and names kind of blur together unless it was a recent visit." He explained with a nervous laugh, preparing his next pokemon. "Let's go tyrunt!" He encouraged as the other kalosian fossil pokemon emerged from his pokeball. "Start this round off with a Bite!" He commanded, but even the strong jawed pokemon seemed unable to make Sheena flinch. That frogadier was tough!

Faces and names blurred together. Being a gym leader had to be a pretty tough job. Maybe not lonely, but tough. She could barely remember names of random people she met on the street, so she could only imagine how hard it was for someone who was constantly meeting people like a leader would. Grant released his second Pokemon, a Tyrunt, and commanded it use Bite on Sheena. She hardly seemed phased by the Flinch effect it had, but that didn't mean it didn't hurt her. "I'm starting to wish I had kept Qukoh'ya on the team now." As if on cue, the Lupup appeared and looked up at Cheria curiously. "No, Qukoh'ya. You can't fight. You're not on the main team. Maybe next time, okay? Sheena, let's use Lick and give Tyrunt a taste of what his partner did." Sheena jumped forward and licked her opponent. Just a small lick on the nose like she was tasting something cold. But, it seemed to do the trick and Cheria smiled. Even if Sheena was defeated, Paralysis should make it easier for Davis to handle the little dinosaur.

All of the moves belonging to level 20 or higher Pokemon have been updated to include the level bonuses, so no need to add an extra 10 to her attack again. xD

Gym Leader Grant
Grant blinked as an interesting pokemon popped out when Cheria mentioned it's name. Apparently he wouldn't be fighting it though, as it wasn't on her main team. It sure looked feisty though, he was sure it would have been a good battle. She then ordered the frogadier to use lick, in an attempt to payback the paralysis inflicted on it. "Well, payback is your goal, then you may as well not do anything. That frog of yours seems surprisingly unfazed by that jolt of electricity." He pointed out with a laugh. His tyrunt was expecting more of an attack, not a little n** on the nose. It backed away in surprise, scrunching his snout and giving a little sneeze. The dino could feel the electricity coursing around him, but his rock hide helped keep the paralysis at bay. "Let's bite it again!" Grant commanded. Sheena remained unflinching, but that was their best attack, so Grant kept it up. Sheena certainly seemed to be getting weaker.

One more hit and that'd be it for Sheena. Cheria could recall her and send out someone else, but Sheena was a "go all out" type of personality. She was incredibly weak, but still looked like she was ready to attack. Water Pulse would do a nice bit of damage to Tyrunt. If she managed to follow that with Isica's Freeze-Dry, it'd be a sure win. Of course, that was if Sheena managed to ignore her paralysis just one more time. The sparks were a lot more noticeable than before. Well, it was all or nothing at this point. "Use one more Water Pulse, Sheena!" And....Nothing. Sheena attempted to attack, but was stopped as the sparks of electricity shocked her. Oh, no. It wasn't like they could be lucky all the time, but this was a pretty bad time for Lady Luck to give in. "Dier." It was a good battle on her part, and it looked like their little payback had ground now at least. Hopefully, it'd make Isica's battle a bit easier; though, clearly Tyrunt had a pretty good resistance to Paralysis, too.

Grant was abit surprised that Sheena was unable to attack. Never the less it gave him an opportunity to try and capitalize on. "Keep on keeping on, use bite again!" Tyrunt ran across the Gym floor and clamped down on the Frogadier. This time, Grant hoped, knocked it out for good.

Once they had arrived, Cerbera couldn't help but think how much more impressive the ocean looked from right up close. Sure the view from the cliff overlook had been amazing, but from down here, the way the water glittered was just absolutely beautiful. "Mmm, I feel like I could stay here all day," she said softly, talking to herself. While Berrie was just standing and musing to herself, her pokemon with the exception of Feng all ran out to the edge of the water to play in the surf. -]Cerbera eventually took a seat in the warm sand and picked Feng off of her shoulder. She sat there watching her other pokemon play in the surf, Lua in particular giving her an odd feeling that she assumed must be similar to the pride a parent feels. It was certainly a strange sensation, but pleasant. As she watched the others, Cerbera gently stroked the soft feathers atop her baby Ho-oh's head. It was nice, relaxing, and very close to perfect. Berrie had thought that she was making friends with her pokemon, and to an extent she was, but she supposed that in a way she was also a sort of mother to them...a realization that warmed the girl's heart. She couldn't see it herself, but Berrie was sure she had a silly grin plastered on her face. She let her pokemon have their fun for a little while, splashing about int he shallow water while she was taking in the warmth of the sun and the cool breeze. After a but, though, the girl began to notice the sand shifting a little bit between her and the others. Slowly a rock began to surface, and when it had, a weird bug crab looking thing came with it. Immediately her pokedex came out to see what this creature was and Berrie let out a surprised gasp. She had heard of these guys before, but never seen one in person. They were interesting, to say the least. Her hand dropped to her waist, reaching for a pokeball there, and she grabbed one. "Crash come on out," she said, not getting up, "Let's take this Dwebble down! Fake him out!"[- -]The Makuhita knew how this routine worked for sure, there was no denying that. He rushed in, faking with his first punch then unleashing a jarring blow to the pokemon. While it was temporarily stunned, Crash followed up with his Force Palm, which was pretty much standard practice by this point. The blow struck hard, practically ringing the rock shell like a bell. Surprisingly however, the pokemon was still hanging on, which was rather unusual.[- -]Cerbera was quite impressed with this little crab-thing's tenacity, it's durability. Being able to stand against her Makuhita for so long was definitely an impressive feat. She was sure it was on it's last legs, however, so the girl got an empty pokeball ready for when the time came. "Okay, Crash," she said, "Give it an arm thrust! That should be plenty!"[- -]The Makuhita nodded and pressed on, landing blow after blow on the hard, rocky exterior. Just when they both thought the Dwebble was down and out, though, it faded out and struck Crash from behind. It wasn't a terrible wound, more of a last ditch effort, but it did make the Makuhita quite agitated. It hauled off and slammed the Dwebble with another Force Palm, knocking it out cold.[- -]Berrie tossed her pokeball as soon as the Dwebble dropped and caught the little beastie with no trouble. She then ran over to Crash and hugged him tight. "That was an incredible fight, Crash!" she exclaimed, "You're so tough. I'm very proud of you!" The girl got a potion out and took the time to tend to her pokemon's wound before returning him to his pokeball. "Hey guys!" she called out, "Bring it in! We should get going!"[-
