Using the last Black Flute, excited that he could actually catch Pokemon he wanted he remembered that the flute broke after use. Sighing he looked at Noivern as another Eevee was summoned and nodded. "I would like to catch this one too please." Noivern flapped his wings so hard that a hurricane was created throwing Eevee high into the air. It was a bit brutal as the Pokemon landed with a crash and Simon threw a Pokeball to hurry up and heal the poor guy.

Simon could use one of his water stones to create a Vaporeon at any point in time. Maybe next time he switches out the second half of his team. Thanking Noivern for his help he asked if he wanted to fly about or return. As a reply Noivern took off causing Simon to grin before sitting down. One of his new wards was Cubone, electric moves, poison and rock were all super ineffective against Cubone so maybe there were areas where they could train him up. One promising place was the area was around the Kalos power plant. Waving to Noivern he climbed up before telling him the destination and with that they were off.

Sebastian was silent a moment, a slight frown crossing his face as he thought. He had mentioned making a trade hadn’t he… but now that he actually thought about it he didn’t really have much to offer in the pokemon department. And even if he did, he imagined none of them would really be of interest to Jay. They were all kind of common. I mean Jay had mentioned liking bugs and he did have Butterfree… but that seemed terribly unfair. More so to Jay then Butterfree. Not that she was a vicious little thing but… she was a vicious little thing.
"I don’t have any pokemon to offer for a trade to be honest…," No point trying to hide that in case that was what the other trainer was expecting. He did want to at least make it a trade though, he needed to have done something to earn the pokemon he had. Sebastian still looked lost in thought, a hand to his chin as he considered some other option. He quirked an eyebrow as an idea occurred. "How about items?" Sebastian pulled open his bag, setting it on a nearby table as he began to rummage around. He had enough junk from all over the place, there had to be a few things worthwhile that Jay might take. Plus, there were those items Ajicka had given him. He wasn’t sure if he’d put them to use… but maybe the cowboy could?
"I’ve got a couple TMs… I don’t really have a use for them." He remarked, starting to pull things out and set them on the table. He set the skates and his shovel off to the side to get them out of the way, pulling out the TMs he’d mentioned and checking them quick.
"They’re Toxic and Rain Dance." He dug a bit more, pulling out the sweet incense as well. "Have this… incense thing too, if you want that." Sebastian actually had no idea what it was or what it even did, but why not offer it? It seemed legit to him. "And … I’ll even give you this fresh water!" Now if that wasn’t a deal topper, he didn’t know what was. He set the stuff in its own little pile, glancing at Jay curiously as he tried to rearrange his things in his bag a bit.

Jay raised both eyebrows to Sebastian's comment. He... Hm. Well, okay. Jay smiled, scratching his head a bit. He was just fine letting the guy have the pokemon-- a little disappointing, but it wasn't like he was in desperate need of more pokemon anyway --but paused a moment when he mentioned items. Huh... Sebastian was grateful to hear that Jay would take items in exchange for the pokemon. He knew it wasn’t really the most… appropriate of trades, but once again, it was a really all he had to offer. He wouldn’t have faulted the man for not agreeing to it.
"Great!" Sebastian replied happily, still sorting the contents of his bag out. When Jay remarked that he was offering quite a bit for a single pokemon, he couldn’t help but frown. "Really? I don’t know, I don’t quite think so." He waved a hand through the air as he spoke.
"The fair thing would be a pokemon for a pokemon." He eyed Jay a moment as he moved towards the PC. "But items for a pokemon, I would say you should get a little more. I mean, TMs are only one time use… and the incense… probably." He still had no idea what the incense did, but just like everything else, he imagined it only had so much shelf life. "Compared to a pokemon which, well fortune willing, isn’t exactly a one-time thing, a little more isn’t exactly uncalled for with the trade." It made sense to him. While it was good that Jay could make use of some of the items but… still. It really wasn’t the same.

Sebastian gave a smile and a quick nod, happy at least that Jay was willing to take a majority of the offer. It made him feel a bit easier as well as it felt a bit fairer on his part.
"Great! That works for me. Like I said… I don’t really have anything in mind for them. Rather they went to good use." And if he ever did get an idea, well he was sure he could find those TMs somewhere else. He replaced his stuff in his bag, picking up the two TMs and the incense with one hand as he slung it back into place. He turned to Jay, glancing at the pokeball a moment and pausing in consideration. He was … rather aware of the eyes on him, but wasn’t too concerned because really, how far would he get anyways? He picked up the pokeball from Jay’s hand, putting the items in its place. Once he was sure the man was satisfied with what he’d received he took a half a step back, pokeball still held out in front of him a bit as he eyed it. So… now he had to figure out how to train up this pokemon too. Shuffle just chirped happily, Kaiser still huffing away behind his trainer in agitation.
He glanced at Jay as he mentioned the gym leader, giving a curt nod. "Yea actually. I might as well." It was less ‘might as well’ and more of ‘sort of had too’ at this point. "I take it you’re going to start moving along as well?"

Once all was good, Sebastian pulled out his pokedex to check and register the Cottonee, listening to Jay curiously. He considered quietly for a moment, a thoughtful look cross his face as his eyes looked to the side as he thought. Finally he gave a smile; it’d be nice to travel along with someone for a bit and if they were heading in the same direction, why not?
"Sure, that sounds like it’d be fun." He remarked, tucking his pokedex and Cottonee’s pokeball away once he was finished. It would certainly be nice to have someone to talk to at least; not that his pokemon weren’t good for that but… well he couldn’t really have a conversation with them. And Jay was… interesting to converse with. "We’ll be heading the same ways anyways so why not?" At the mention of exchanging contact info, Sebastian blinked.
"That’s… a pretty good idea." It was probably worth doing just in case something happened after all. Sebastian fished out his pokegear again, ready to add Jay’s information and vice versa.

Sebastian gave a nod, blinking and starting oddly at the holocaster for a moment when Jay handed it over. He had seen those things only a couple of times in his life – where exactly had he been for the past century or so – and was rather uncertain for a moment. When Jay pulled up the information though he was grateful, still taking the device rather sheepishly, looking at it a moment curiously. It honestly looked like it would break if he breathed the wrong way.
"Thanks." He remarked, quickly typing Jay’s information into his own device. With the easy part done he had to pause a moment, still looking a bit deterred at the device. This probably explained why he had next to zero contacts beyond family and a friend or two; he really should’ve consider upgrading at some point.
Once the whole exchanging of information was finally done and he had to stop worrying about technology, he smiled and shifted a bit, Shuffle giving another little chirp in his ear. "Alright, so I’ll see you at the caves then right?" He had to do a double check on which caves Jay would probably be heading too because apparently, there were a lot.
"Reflection Cave?" It seemed the most likely choice, seeing as how Connecting Cave led back toward Cyllage City. At least Sebastian could read maps.

Once everything was settled and done, Sebastian gave his farewells to the cowboy as he headed out the door of the Pokemon Center, Shuffle chirping her own little goodbyes to the other trainer and his pokemon, Kaiser still on the heels and huffing unhappily. It was really impressive how long this Mareep was holding a grudge. He’d tried offering him the rope again but apparently, he still wasn’t buying it.
Sebastian sighed. Maybe there was something else he could find for the Mareep to chew on. As he walked for the stores to do a final check before heading back to Cyllage City, he opted to swap his team around. He really had quite a bit to handle and wasn’t sure what to do though he did want to check that Eevee he’d caught. He didn’t need Butterfree in his party at the moment to be honest –he really needed to do something with her- and so he swapped her for the Eevee.
When he had a free moment, Sebastian paused and let the Eevee out. Kaiser only gave the new pokemon a brief glance which was apparently fine, as the Eevee didn’t seem any more thrilled to see the sheep. Shuffle gave a chirp of greeting, the little brown pokemon giving the bird a narrowed gaze as well.
Sebastian frowned. Well… okay then this was a little odd. Of course now that he thought about it, the poor thing was probably still miffed from Dice so violently clobbering it in the head. He smiled and knelt down, offering a hand to the new pokemon. "Hey there. How are you doing?" He asked. The Eevee just gave him a sort of look that said he was no amused before promptly ignoring the man. Sebastian blinked, pulling his hand back. "Well… okay then." He replied, rubbing the back of his head. Maybe it just needed a little time to adjust? That was the most he could do.
"I’ll let you stay out for a bit alright? Get some fresh air. I’m sorry Dice hit you so hard." The Eevee still ignored him, seeming more focused on something else instead. With a sigh Sebastian took a seat temporarily, deciding to sort his team a bit while he still remembered.

While Sebastian took the time to sit and sort his team out, the Eevee seemed to have his own little plan. When the bag was available he snuck his way in, fidgeting quietly around until he’d found one of those black flutes that Sebastian had acquired. Without the trainer noticing, he tugged it out and dragged it away a bit from the group. While Sebastian didn’t catch all this, Shuffle and Kaiser did.
Shuffle watched curiously, uncertain if she should alert her trainer or not to the actions of the pokemon. If she’d noticed anything it was that her trainer wasn’t exactly the most… attentive. Kaiser however didn’t seem too concerned, instead just waddling after the creature.
"What are you doing?" He inquired bluntly, watching the Eevee sniff at the flute, seeming to try and figure out how to use it. The little brown thing just gave a side glance at the sheep before refocusing his attention to the flute on the ground.
"None of your business. Now go away." Kaiser puffed his cheeks a bit. He was already agitated with Sebastian trying to deprive him his favorite chew toy; he was really in no mood to deal with the attitude of some fresh newbie pokemon. He watched the Eevee a second or two longer. "You know you can’t use that."
The Eevee huffed, chest puffing out a bit as he continued maneuvering the flute into position, propping it up on a rock so that he could reach it. "Trust me, I’ve seen enough humans use these things to farm us up to catch. I can figure it out." The Mareep just gave a ‘humph’ in response. He didn’t really believe it; it was hard to play instruments without fingers after all.

While it was clear the Eevee understood how the flute was supposed to work, it didn’t exactly make his attempt right. After he’d calibrated everything accordingly, Eevee had started blowing rather hard into the flute, producing a terribly high pitched note that had both Kaiser and Shuffle flinching in pain. It was too high for their trainer to notice, but to any other pokemon it was probably akin to someone scratching a fork on a chalkboard. The Eevee would stop once in a while to give a few indecipherable squawks before resuming blowing that annoying high pitch noise.
"What are you doing?!" Kaiser whined, flinching again. The Eevee stopped, glancing at the sheep. "I thought I told you to mind your own business?"
"Well you’re making a racket and hurting my ears!" The Mareep proclaimed in agitation, looking over as Shuffle landed next to him. "That noise really is terrible; could you please stop?" She asked politely.
The Eevee gave what looked like a frown. "No." And with that he kept blowing the flute and making odd calls. Kaiser bristled, Shuffle trying to calm him with a little flap of her wings. He wouldn’t have it though and before the bird could probably stop him he stormed over, tail lighting up with an electric ball of energy before he flung it at the flute, shattering it to pieces. The Eevee was only slightly startled, gaze immediately narrowing as he growled at the Mareep.
"Why did you-" He started to command, a shuffle from the bushes interrupting him as his head whipped around to look. As if on cue, another Eevee bumbled out into sight, pausing and looking about in confusion before spotting the other Eevee and giving an excited greeting.
"There you are! I’ve been looking everywhere! Did you hear that noise? It hurt my ears!" The new Eevee chirped, glancing at Shuffle and Kaiser in curiosity. "Who’s your friends?"
"Don’t worry about them. I need you to do something." The other Eevee perked up, looking at his friend curiously. "Whazzat?"
"I need you to faint."
