When you stop and look forward, you can always see it. If you try and touch it, you cannot feel it. It cannot move, but as you near it, it will always be further away from you.
What is it?

What is it? Tomorrow/The future

Yorozuya_Harujiro ooh! ooh! I got one! As I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives. each wife had seven sacks. each sack had seven cats. each cat had seven kits. how many were going to St. Ives? What have I got in my pocket?Easy peasy! It's one!
Now, for a cryptic one...
1.) In daytime I lie pooled about, At night I cloak like mist. I creep inside shut boxes and Inside your tightened fist. You see me best when you can't see, For I do not exist.
2.) Devils and rogues know nothing else, save starlight.

xXLuckeXx BluePod I think the answear to the train one is 100 miles. I don't know if that was a wild guess but that is correct. Anywayz, here is another riddle. It is said that 98% of the world can not solve the riddle. Are you in the lucky 2%. Do not cheat!! There are 5 houses in 5 different colors. In each house lives a person with a different nationality. The 5 owners drink a certain type of beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar, and keep a certain pet. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar, or drink the same beverage. The question is: Who owns the fish? Hints: * The Brit lives in the red house. * The Swede keeps dogs as pets. * The Dane drinks tea. * The green house is on the left of the white house. * The green homeowner drinks coffee. * The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds. * The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill. * The man living in the center house drinks milk. * The Norwegian lives in the first house. * The man who smokes Blend lives next to the one who keeps cats. * The man who keeps the horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill. * The owner who smokes Bluemaster drinks beer. * The German smokes prince. * The Norwegian lives next to the blue house. * The man who smokes Blend has a neighbor who drinks water. OK, I don't know if this has already been answered, I haven't looked past page 1, I swear. When I heard about the 2% thing, it got my attention. The German owns the fish! ^_^

yes. I think I may or may not have written the riddle badly in the first place. the answer was supposed to be 'sun on the daisies' but it's been a while since I read The Hobbit.

Oh, I remember that. ^_^ One of Gollum's riddles. English is not my first language, so I didn't read it in English and it didn't sound familiar. But, yeah, daisies aren't brown. lol

I have two riddles for you guys!
1)There are two towns, one where everybody tells the truth and one where everybody lies. You need to get to the town of people who always tell the truth but there is a fork in the road and there is no way of telling which way it is. There is a man standing at the fork in the road but you have no idea if he is from the town of people that tell the truth or the town of lairs. What question do you ask him to find out which way to go?
2)There was a man born in 1723 and he is 21 years old. How is this possible?

Emo Cloud of Doom There was a man born in 1723 and he is 21 years old. How is this possible? 1723 could be the military time reading of 5:23 PM and therefore he could be born in minute of 5:23 PM Or 1723 could be the room number he was born in.
