"Dodgeball would be apt," Sol remarked, "In the sense that if you can dodge a hailstorm, you can dodge Bombirdier air strikes. Calida, you might be better suited here against the birds." He'd let his Quilava out, mindful of the Bombirdier as he looked up. "Careful of the rocks. If any start swooping in, cover our rush and pelt them with Ember and Swift attacks. You won't be doing the effort alone."

As he spoke, both of his hands would crackle with plasma as he kept a Thunderbolt charged. "If we can watch for each others' blind sides, reaching the top shouldn't prove difficult. Ready?"

Seeing a nod from Calida, Sol started making a mad dash up the peak. "Then go, vamos!" His Quilava was quick to follow, the two trying to keep an eye out for the others on their efforts. And Arven too, but visuals on him were lost quickly when the Bombirdier started swooping down and trying to pelt the pair with rocks. Careful to dodge the onslaught, a Thunderbolt would be loosed to zap a couple of of the birds and create a distraction to keep up the pace.

He'd underestimate how fast the other Bombirdier could coordinate, though, seeing what was best described as an avalanche of rocks. While Calida's smaller form meant she could weave around them better, Sol had a harder time of it; taking flight would make things even harder with so many Bombirdier around, and some of the rocks were larger than others. A hard sigh leaving him, he'd find another alcove to keep himself safe and loosed the other Thunderbolt he'd charged to keep more Bombirdier at bay. "Los peligrosos..."

He rushed out and back towards the top of the peak once an opening showed up, catching up to his Quilava as she kept throwing Swift attacks at any Bombirdier that got too close for her liking. In the process, he'd see Freth doing what she could to coordinate things too and try to clear a path for Arven to join everyone. He and Calida continued the dance of rushing and weaving and attacking until they finally made it to the peak themselves, wary eyes looking for any more Bombirdier that wanted words with them and the others given the deadly game of dodgeball in progress.

"We've made it," Sol remarked to Freth. "Think I could do without running towards rocks for a while."

“Hm. Mhmm. Yep. Right...” Tsuki mumbled, observing Arven’s Toedscruel in action as the Bombirdier attacked it with boulders. Boulders! Why was it always boulders? This was just like that freaking Klawf. Patting both sides of his face, he hopped off of his hoverboard and hoisted Maggie onto one of his shoulders. Even though it would probably be easier than just climbing the mountain, he knew that he couldn’t evade a flock of divebombing birds in the air. Better to get hit on the ground than off a flying piece of hardware twenty feet in the air near a CLIFF.

With a bit of dread pooling in his stomach, Tsuki ran towards the peak with the others. The first issue he came across, and the one he was hilariously underprepared for was, of course, the rocks. The boy yelped at the sight of the raining hail fire of stones coming down their way, leading him to look at his Magby and say “Use Smokescreen and get us some cover!” The little fire type quickly obeyed and coughed out smoke for the two of them to run around in without being as easily targeted. He stuck to a large boulder embedded in the ground and waited for a bit until the attack ceased to walk out of the smoke (covered in soot mind you). No harm? No harm! “Oh thank Arc-!” He said before getting slammed by the wing of a divebombing Bombirdier.

Tsuki hit the ground and groaned as the flying type took to the air and began circling him. “Ughhh… why…?” He groaned, waving one hand a bit wildly before putting it over his eyes to find the Bombirdier. The Bombirdier that attacked him. The Bombirdier that was divebombing him again. That one. “That one?!” He yelped, hopping up and rolling to the side to narrowly avoid getting swiped a second time by the same Pokemon. Grabbing ahold of Maggie by the arm, he bolted it up the mountain to put some distance between him and that thing.

“Hey, wake up lil lady! I need you to keep a Thunderpunch at the ready. And I really need you to not get mad at me!” Tsuki said, avoiding eye contact with Maggie as to not see the death glare she was presumably giving him. He skid to a stop when he caught the Bombirdier starting his descent for a third time, leading him to pull his Magby back like a projectile. “Don’t be mad?”

“Mag-by.” She said firmly, Thunderpunch charged. When the enemy got close, Tsuki threw his Pokemon and she meanwhile flailed her arms to grab the darn thing. She held onto dear life as she electrocuted the Bombirdier and as her trainer jumped out of its path. When she felt like it had had enough, she hopped off and watched as it flew away with it’s tailfeathers between it’s legs. She yelled something inappropriate in Pokespeak as it did for good measure.

Eventually, Tsuki made it to the peak of the mountain. Covered in sweat, soot, a few open cuts, and more than his fair share of bruises. “I want… to never do that again. Do you. Hear me. Arven. Dodgeball my a**.” He said between gasps for air. Oh crap. They still had the Titan to worry about too after this.

Tsuki was taking a Claydol trip to Pallet Town after this and he was keying Oak’s car on his way back.

Upon seeing the others all coming together for a moment to take a momentary break and hearing Arven and Aile’s discussion regarding the plant they had come in search of, Odd recalled Entr’Acte to their Pokeball and pulled a Dusk Ball from his belt in its place. Tossing it out, the Pokemon that emerged might be one that had been long forgotten among the Snagems who were aware of its capture. “Musette, you feeling up to a jaunt up the mountain?” He asked the Stantler as she appeared, letting out a low grunt and stretching her legs.

“Stan.” Musette bellowed in response, shaking her head a bit at the weight of her own antlers. She felt like it was well past shedding season at this point and those should have come off quite some time ago.

“Great! Think you can carry me along the way?” The Channeler asked as he rubbed her muzzle affectionately.

“Stan.” The moose-like Pokemon bellowed in response, allowing the human to climb onto her back.

Once he had mounted the cervid Pokémon’s back, Odd shifted his weight a bit to get himself into a comfortable position and gave a soft kick to her sides. “Alright girl, let’s get moving!” He urged, pointing up the mountain. “Keep an eye out for falling rocks and I’ll do the same, ok?”

As Musette began to walk up the mountainside, she spotted the myriad Bombirdier flying all around them and picked up her pace until she was trotting rather quickly.

“Bombiiiiird!!”

“Uh oh. Incoming!” Odd exclaimed as he grabbed his artifact from his waist. As one of the Bombirdier swooped in, he swiped at it with the back of the sickle’s blade, striking the bird in the side of the head and sending it crashing into the ground nearby. “That… was more luck than skill… “ he told himself, realizing that n the bird’s attempt to dodge his wild swipe, it had unintentionally thrown itself into the path of his originally vain attempt to strike it.

“Keep going, Musette! Defend yourself if you must but I’m going to try and get these birds off our backs.” He told the moose Pokemon as he grabbed for another Pokeball. Popping the ball open as he threw down his hoverboard, watching the device rapidly take it’s full sized form before jumping onto it just as the Pokémon he’d released materialized on Musette’s back. “Glissando! Keep Musette safe. I’m realizing now that we’ll all be safer getting to the top with more of us keeping those birds’ attention divided.” He instructed. “Use Thunder Wave and just stop them from attacking if possible but fight back hard if that’s what it takes to stay safe.”

Glissando nodded quietly, incredibly confused as Odd zoomed ahead on his rarely-used transportation device. Odd almost never used that thing anymore so the fact that he was meant this was probably a big deal.

“Stan!”

Glissando’s attention was brought back to the moose he was riding just as the Normal-Type’s horns glowed a soft pink color from the orbs within them, followed by a thick, dome-like shield of psychic energy forming in front of those same horns. The H6pno wasn’t sure was was happening or why for a moment before Musette applied her Psyshield Bash to a falling rock, smashing it into dust with a single, powerful Headbutt fueled by the psychic shield she had generated.

“Hyp… no?”He asked, his voice cracking slightly. He didn’t know any Stantler that outdoor use above like that and he was unsure if he should be concerned for her well-being or proud of her power more in that moment. He wouldn’t get a chance to consider it for long before yet another Bombirdier tried to attack, resulting in Glissando’s unleashing a pulse of Thunder Wafe from his pendulum that sparked along the incoming bird’s body and resulted in it crashing into the ground as it’s extremities went numb. Barely 10 seconds later, Glissando found himself spinning his pendulum in a tight circle as it glowed bright pink before swinging downward toward an incoming rock. As his pendulum was released from the spin, it arced in a large crescent that released a solid blade of psionic energy. The Psycho Cut sliced through the incoming rock with relative ease but it failed to stop its momentum.

Musette jumped over the half that crashed into the ground and almost-bounced into her path, leaving Glissando with the other half to deal with. The Hypno managed to evade it, narrowly, thanks to Musette’s leap, charging a Thunder Wave intended to put a stop to yet another of the incoming storks. He would find no need for the current for a moment, however, as a familiar sickle swing into sight from behind the bird. Wraith Harvest soared through the air with surprising accuracy to hook it’s inner edge around the stork’s thin neck and a sudden tug on the durable ribbon that trailed from its handle sent the diving avian into a nearly perpendicular flight path with the ground. A snap on the ribbon jarred the sickle free just before Bombirdier crashed headlong into the ground and Glissando watched for a brief moment as it was pulled back to Odd’s outstretched hand. He had to admit his trainer was becoming more skilled at using that thing as a weapon lately.

He wouldn’t have long to admire Odd’s growing skills in wielding his Artifact before he heard the sound of a Bombirdier attacking again. This one wasn’t throwing rocks, however. It had dived down low and was now rising up at great speed, beginning to barrel roll just before reaching Glissando and Musette. The Stantler turned quickly and slammed her head into the bird with the psionic barrier wrapped around her antlers. It seemed to do nothing, however, as the bird continued to barrel roll, infusing its wings with Flying energy and, the moment Musette’s Psyshield Bash came to an end, executed an excellently timed Dual Wingbeat with one strike to both Pokémon.

“Bomb-bzzzzt!” The bird had started to laugh before Glissando clenched his electrically charged pendulum in his hand and swung his first ever Thunder Punch completely by accident and managed to clock the bird right in the back of its head with all his strength. Bombirdier saw stars for a moment before everything went black. The next thing Glissando knew, he was standing beside Odd near the top of the mountain, watching as the Channeler swung his artifact lazily from it’s handle ribbon, crimson eyes narrowed as he watched the birds around them for a chance to either protect someone or simply to aid in clearing a path. “Great work, you two!” He praised the Hypno and Stantler, offering an affectionate rub on Musette’s muzzle, rubbing Glissando’s head in similar fashion. Both Pokémon practically glowed for a few moments afterward before Odd recalled them both, jumping back on his hoverboard and making his way the short distance that remained to the other Snagems that had arrived.

“Thanks to my Pokémon distracting these birds, I tried looking for it but I didn’t have any luck finding it on the way up here. This place has so many nooks and crannies it could be tucked away in… I don’t know how we’re going to find it unless we run into another of those giant Pokémon like that Klawf in the canyon…” He announced upon arrival. He’d tried to sense any strange energies in the area but his expertise in that area fell on souls, which plants notoriously lack, so he wasn’t picking anything up. Nothing except for a lot of birds with conspicuously thick presences in the area, likely due to their typing including Dark energy. “Any chance someone’s willing to go fetch Wren? This would be his field for sure…” Too bad the Grass Channeler had bailed on attending classes.

Arven would be stirred to action by Freth, not because he found the bravery needed to keep moving but because she was able to make an opening for him and Toedscruel to flee up the mountain, the Snagems fighting the birds as he ran. The Snagem would be success in fighting back the birds, their rain of boulders coming up empty of victims. As the Snagems arrived at the top of the peak the various Bombirdier would suddenly flee, giving up their attacks wholesale and flying away from Bomber's Peak. "Yeah! And good riddance!" Arven cheered as they fled, assuming the Snagems and their Pokemon had scared them away. "Well now that those big chickens are gone we can search for the Herba Mystica in peace." Arven declared happily as he recalled his Pokemon. "Hm...now if I was a rare herb where would I hide..." He said as he began to wander around the peak's summit.

Unbeknownst to Arven and initially the Snagems something was descending from above the clouds, something really big. Freth wouldn't be able to sense what was coming, its energy signature completely invisible to her, however Odd would feel a massive and powerful spiritual presence suddenly blip on his radar, as if its owner wanted its presence to be known. Coming down through the clouds was a giant Bombirdier, far bigger than the ones before. This Titan of a Pokemon almost dwarfed the peak they stood on and was cloaked in surging green energy. With a cry that shook the mountain's foundation it let go the 'apron' in its beak and sent falling down upon them an enormous boulder, one big enough to crush all of them on the peak at once.

Titan Bombirdier, the Open Sky Titan, used Rock Throw.

"Querido Arceus..." Was all Arven managed to utter as he looked up at the enormous stone falling down towards them, the boulder blocking out the sun as a shadow was cast upon the entire peak.

Brian and Rachel watched as the rest of the team came up the peak, noticing the rest of the Bombirdier had fled as soon as they reached it. Hmm, odd. Why would they suddenly just break off their attack like that, unless... Lu suddenly looked up above them, growling, and Brian had to look up just as the Titian Bombirdier came into sight. "What in Arceus' name?!" he exclaimed right after the giant bird had released the mountain-sized boulder, apparently intending to flatten them all. This wasn't good; there was no way they could try to fend off a rock that size, and Brian wasn't dumb enough to try. Lu, on the other hand, had other ideas. She wasn't about to let her trainer and his friends die by being crushed, so she quickly used Bulk Up three times, then launched herself at the rock with Extreme Speed when it was close enough, using Bullet Punch and Rock Smash in the hopes of slowing it enough to let everyone escape

"Lu, what are ye doing?" Brian shouted, realizing what the Lucario was trying to do. "It won't work, ye'll be killed!" The Lucario ignored him, her attention fully on the boulder. Feeling the commotion, another Pokeball popped open, revealing Randy, Brian's Dunsparce. "Oh, no, not ye, too," Brian said, as he removed Randy's Pokeball to recall the Normal-type. The Dunsparce wasn't having it, however, as he quickly used Dig to escape the Pokeball, then used Coil while underground. After a few seconds, once he felt his attack and defense had been sufficiently raised, he came back above ground and quickly executed a Drill Run, aiming for a spot near where Lu was hitting. Perhaps the two of them together could slow it enough that their trainer and his friends could escape.

While this was happening, Clint nudged Rachel, clearly wanting her to get on his back. Confused, she did so, only for the Skiddo to take her to just below the peak. He clearly didn't want her to be any part of whatever hair-brained idea Brian's Pokemon were trying to pull off, so he was getting her as far away as he could without actually leaving anyone behind.

“Well, the herb has to be up that way. Makes me wonder if it’s stowed away in some sort of cavern like the other herb was. Maybe that’s the herb’s thing; a cavern plant of some kind. Perhaps the inside of Area Zero has all sorts of caverns that these plants grow in. I mean, I’d imagine Heath would have had to closely see what would be the best kind of spot for these plants…well, before the local fauna decided to treat the plants as a buffet.” Freth said. “You wouldn’t happen know any cavern systems around here, would you?”

Freth then took notice to the area getting dark suddenly only to jump at the sudden screech. Freth would look up. It was a gigantic shadow in the sky, but the shape was unmistakable. Freth grew agitated, unable to sense the thing coming like she would have back as the icy variant she once was. But worse so, the very things that she was having Glalie Ice Beam attack trying to fight their way up here had a friend that was supersized to absurd proportions. “Oh you have got to be fu-“ She’d cut herself off once she saw the first rock came down upon the Snagems…or rather. A boulder. She’d grab her Glalie and run off and took a dive, trying to make sure she wasn’t crushed by the massive rock. Freth felt the ground tremble from the boulder’s impact. “Honestly…I thought we left this gigantism crap back in Galar…”

“No use cursing someone long since gone for his prodding into things he probably shouldn’t have.” Eris spoke from within.

“Yeah, yeah…” Freth then sighed out to herself, quickly pushing herself up. “Glalie! Try Ice Beam on that thing!” she then shouted.

Glalie would quickly hover upwards trying to get closer to the bird then got ready, lining up his shot. “GLA-LIE!” The massive chunk of ice roared out, firing off its chilling beam towards the gigantic bird.

"Somewhere decently hidden so as to not be disturbed," Sol remarked. "And likely, somewhere on this peak I'd hope, after what we through getting here." He'd start the search himself, hoping to find some further lead on the elusive plant they just spent the last while playing dodgeball with rocks. But no more than a mere moment later had the more likely reason the other Bombirdier left showed itself, it too a Bombirdier. That, if anything, maybe spent a little too long abroad in Galar... or gorging theirself on a plant that was definitely nearby if the Klawf from last time was any indication.

He'd watch as the boulder from the titan Bombirdier was loosed upon the peak, then to the few immediate actions that followed, trying not to tense up himself. Arven (understandably) freezing up, Freth trying to dive out of the way while Glalie went to attack, Brian's Pokemon on one of the most expedient suicide missions he'd seen. Good (if questionable) efforts on their own, had they been dealing with a Golem instead of a much less sentient rock that waited for no one. As is, the chances any of these would work were doubtful; something more concerted was sure to be needed here.

"Big as that thing is, we'd crowd ourselves trying to get away... It's no good, we need something stronger," he spoke up, taking a ball he was using for storage to get his sword out. A faint glow would envelop it as soon as he took it in hand, starting to charge a Solar Beam through it and bracing himself. "Tsuki, does your Magby know Sunny Day? I need you or someone else to get that going, now. Freth, can you slow down that boulder at all? Anything to buy us a little bit more time; I should be able to slice through it with a Solar Beam-infused slash and the extra sunlight. As soon as I do, I'll need you and everyone else that's got some way of using Psychic to pull the pieces apart, force them to go around and away from us. And if you can't help with either of those, then try to keep our avian menace occupied. We can worry more about them after the threat of being flattened by their rocky payload has passed, but we do this together, got it?"

For all the weaving and lack of fear Calida had earlier, the giant boulder had seen the Quilava lose whatever cool she had and was now cowering behind Sol for some semblance of safety, fearing she was about to find out what a Rollout from the heavens felt like.

“Ha… oh wow, we are f@*í.” Tsuki sighed as he looked upwards to see the Titan Bombirdier’s Rock Throw. His arms slumped and his legs felt a bit like lead in that moment, making him wonder briefly if he could even do anything. His procrastinating had left him vulnerable and that had turned him into a liability for the others. There wasn’t any reason he should have come along so under prepared.

And then Sol spoke up, reminding the boy that he was not alone and that providing any support was better than doing nothing. “Yeah she does! Maggie, set up a Sunny Day for us.” He said, scooping the Magby off his shoulders and putting her down in front of the. While a Lucario had a fist fight with what looked like a meteor and a Glalie tried to freeze it, she spun her arms together before bringing her arms up to her forehead and yelling “Magby beeeee!” On command, she charged a bead of Fire chi in between her balms causing the Heat Rock attached to her necklace to light up and begin to vibrating in response to the move. When she eventually loosened her chi and shot it into the sky, the cavalcade of lights that coated the sky seemed more potent than the other times she had used Sunny Day before.

The Ho-oh hybrid wanted sun and he’d get it. Tsuki wanted to ask him how he expected a sword to cut through a boulder larger than a bus, but ultimately decided to let that play out and see it for himself. Time was short and that boulder wasn’t going to stop on it’s own for anybody.

Odd saw the others begin to make their own attempts to breaking up that massive boulder almost faster than he could process it all, still trying to consider places the herb they'd come for might be tucked away up until that screech had caught his attention. As the massive shadow had descended from the clouds, he'd immediately begun trying to figure out a plan for what he knew must be coming. He had Entr'Acte and his shielding abilities, not to mention the strength of his attacks but the sentient blade had been through battle already and was likely worn down a bit. Better not to test the limits of their endurance against this. His newest addition was off the table for multiple reasons, most of which consisted of not having a clue what it could do yet. The other twqo he'd used today weren't falling into the category of powerful so that left him with...

"Dissonance!" He called out, releasing his Golurk. "Upward, use Dynamic Punch!" He directed the large construct, pointing up at the incoming boulder. "Try and hit as close to the same spot as the others!"

The Golurk nodded and as its legs withdrew into its torso to enter flight mode, it rocketed upward with both fists cloaked in Fighting energy that took on a metallic sheen as it's Iron Fist condensed it, further strengthening the attack. As the Automaton Pokemon approached, Dissonance wound up and slammed their massive fist into the boulder in an attempt to shatter it completely. Odd only hoped it wasn't quite that successful as he released Entr'Acte again. "King's Shield!" He ordered, pointing upward again. "Anyone who can't protect themself, get over here!" He called out as Entr'Acte took on his Shield Forme and the interlocking hexagons of their cursed shield began to spread into a large dome between themself and the boulder.

Once Arven took off, she’d stare at the pair for the moment, looking between her Pokémon and the increasingly distant natives. “Well, that’s a sight I did not think I’d ever imagine seeing… Right then. Dega, let’s go! Rancor, eyes in the sky!” She’d nudge the bear on, who began to go forward, though she was quickly overtaken by everyone else. The bear would speed up slowly, but still wound up being a relatively easy target, as a few Bombirdier wound up locking onto the small party in the back. “Hm? Oh sh- Rancor, blast the boulders off course!” The little land shark would turn around and turn his head up, blinking before flailing dramatically. “Oh, come on! Try a Dragon Breath, at least!” The bright blue dragon looked at his trainer again before taking a deep breath and exhaling a wispy looking royal blue flame, barely reaching the rocks being thrown at them. Dagobah managed to dodge a few, but the Dragon Breath didn’t have the strength to modify the trajectory of the larger rocks coming at the trio.

“Giiiib…”

“Get some more force in it! That’s the attack, just need to put some more effort and punch into it. Whoa!” Aile ducked as she narrowly missed one of the rocks aimed for her head, looking around after it had passed. “Can you birds stop being jerks for five damned minutes?”

Rancor looked at his trainer as she shouted at the avian menace chasing them. He just needed to put some more… punch into it? What did that mean? And effort? He decided he needed to focus, maybe. How did he do that Dragon breath again? Maybe he needed to put more energy into that. And punch… Maybe she meant how they hit things, a hit usually didn’t last long. So maybe he needed to make it stronger and not hold it as long? That could maybe work… The Gible took a deep breath again, turning to aim at another large rock coming their way. Breathing in until he couldn’t anymore, he’d let out a high pitched roar as he finally exhaled, letting out with it a royal blue fireball, slightly pulsing and occasionally gaining brief streaks of yellow. Aile had ducked now, expecting another small bounder coming their way, only to lift her head up to see the impromptu and not at all proper Dragon Pulse blasting back the rock this time. Maybe a bit close for comfort, but it was something strong enough to blast back the rocks at least. “Uh… Not sure what exactly that move was, Rancor, but that was brilliant still! Great job!”

“Gib!” The little guy looked proud, at least until he saw more of the birds coming their way. Apparently, his antics pissed off the birds a bit, more than what they were at least. “Giiiib?...”

“Dega, time to leg it! We need to go, they’re not happy with us!” Aile would duck again, as she watched the angry storks fly over and attempt to bombard the trio again. The Ursaluna would do her best to play dodgeball with the rocks, helped along with nudges from Aile with her legs. “Rancor, whatever you were doing, keep it up! Just make sure these guys stay off of our tail!” The Gible nodded and continued with what he was doing, slowly getting faster at his janky move. Would he have to unlearn this later? Probably. However, it was working for what they needed at the moment, and that’s all Aile cared about for the moment. Maybe Tati would get her head on straight and actually not be jealous of him? Later, though. They’d have to make it out, first.

Eventually, the trio would finally get their way up to the peak, the Gible having played an effective enough turret in Aile’s arm, who was now facing backwards. Apparently, it was easier if she held and aimed him while he fired. “Arceus, my legs. It feels like I have not skipped leg day at all…” Aile would slide off of her bear, sighing and wobbling. “Arceu-” She gave a nasty look at the boulder coming their way, shooting it a very annoyed look for a moment before realizing just how big it was. “Oh.” She would drop Rancor and grab Tatooine’s Pokéball, sending out the ever loyal Flygon. “Tati, use Dragon Tail on that boulder, try to knock it away!” tati looked back, noticed the Gible on the ground and scoffed briefly before listening to her trainer, imbuing her tail with dragon chi to strengthen it enough to attempt to bat the boulder away. Useful, dubious at best. But, she was low on idea to begin with, knocking gigantic things out of the air with a ground type wasn’t really easy. Literally, Tati was her best bet to help at this point.

“I’ve never tried anything that large before!” Freth shouted. “I barely managed to lift Mamoswine recently and I didn’t even get him that much off the ground! And you’re suggesting at least slowing down something that is at least three of him!”

“Well, you seem to work best under pressure.”

“No one asked you!”
Freth mentally shouted back to her mental resident.

“Well, regardless, he’s committed to do whatever he’s about to do, so you’re going to need to do something…and pray tell where is Alakazam again?”
Eris then asked. Freth grimaced just then. She didn’t bring the psychic Pokémon along for the ride this go-round and in retrospect, it did look like it was an okay idea to do since these birds were apparently all of the Dark type assortment. Right at this second? Not so much.

“This need for psychic power crap is getting on my nerves…” Freth said, now aloud.

“Argue later, rock now.”
Freth would try to reach out towards the rock and all could very well see that for the ametuer psychic, this was extremely taxing. She was trying all she could to even slow down the rock, even if only a little. The proverbial mental muscles was being asked to do a lot before she got used to doing anything this extreme. Nothing else mattered, she told herself, trying to put those lessons in Snowpoint back to use. Just the massive rock. Her influence started to encompass the boulder; the onyx feathers around her eyes and her feather tips lit up fiercely showing Freth was putting a lot of effort trying to do this.

Sol gave a knowing, confident nod to Tsuki, Freth and the others as they set about the tasks he'd given. He wasn't terribly concerned about the chances of success; a mere boulder, no matter how large, was a far tamer obstacle than anything Ein ever threw at the team over the last several decades. In the moment, sure, it was another potentially deadly thing to worry about, but this felt like nothing and not only was the Ho-oh hybrid completely certain he was about to remind them why, but also deliver a short, potent message to the Titan Bombirdier above about the mistake they'd just made. Sword pointed down with his eyes closed, he continued to charge solar energy into it, its glow brightening all the while.

It'd intensify at an even more rapid rate when the heat from Maggie's Sunny Day was felt, the energy from it stronger than usual with the Heat Rock she was holding. A welcome addition in the moment, allowing him to pour far more energy than he would've without it. In far less time too, something that was at a premium even with the others' efforts. With how the ground trembled, the time bought was woefully short. It should still be enough, he thought, so long as enough psychic (and/or physical) force was offered after his swing. If not... well, there certainly wouldn't be enough time to regroup. Of course, such doubts were something he'd already left at the foot of the mountain.

He had this- no, not just him.

They had this.

And with a gleaming, glowing sword that shined as bright as the sun, it was about time to make that message loud and clear. His eyes shot open as he raised his sword, the sheer amount of energy within giving it an appearance closer to a bright, sunlit claymore threatening to split the heavens in twain and eclipse the sun- or at least the bundle of energy in the air from Sunny Day.

"¡Atraviesa, arcoíris!"

With an assertive step forward, he'd swing the sword down and let the Solar Beam loose, its energy traveling downward with it and cutting through everything in its wake. Naturally, he was careful to avoid those closer to the boulder. The following rainbow trail with his swing invoked imagery that wouldn't turn the boulder that was sliced through into any pot of gold, but it'd be close with the bits of now-molten boulder flying off from the impact. They'd cool quickly as they fell, proving no threat as the light faded. What the others would see as their eyes adjusted was Sol standing just after the slash he delivered, the aforementioned rainbow trail, and raining, golden embers... and quickly reaching his left hand towards the boulder, quickly building up psychic energy.

Had it not been for Freth's efforts, amassing enough energy to make such a clean cut- if one at all- wasn't likely to be possible, and he wasn't about to leave the second part of the plan solely on any one person. He'd said they'd do this together and, flame forbid, he'd see that point through.

"Sólo cederemos... cuando hayamos... encontrado nuestro tesoro!" He shouted, in equal parts confident battle cry and an act of defiance towards the titan, aiding in the psychic efforts to force the boulder apart. Giving up wasn't on the team's agenda, let alone Sol's. It never would be. With his declaration to comrades in arms and what stood in their way alike, all that was left was hoping the efforts from everyone would be enough.

The attacks on the giant boulder would be largely in vain, it was simply too massive. Some of the attacks may have took pieces out of it, maybe made some cracks, but none of it was enough to completely shatter it, at least not in a way that would save them below. What would help at least buy time was the Psychics forces pushing against it, not able to stop it but instead make its fall slower, though only buying a couple of seconds.

Those seconds however were important as the Sunny Day was conjured and Sol stepped forth and began to draw in solar energy, condensing it into his sword and preparing a makeshift Solar Blade Solar Beam. Sol would then defiantly step up and swing with his mighty sword and unleash possibly the largest 'Solar Beam' any of the Snagems have ever witnessed, reminding them all that he was not only a very skilled swordsman and hybrid but most importantly a legendary hybrid, the Immortal Flame himself.

Sol's beam would slice right through the boulder, as if it were a snowball, almost no pieces breaking off as he cut through it clean. Then came Freth's roll as she managed to muster up enough Psychic power, along with Sol's help, to push the two pieces of the fall boulder apart just enough so they fell down the sides of the peak harmlessly, missing the Snagems completely. They did it, somehow they actually did it, they were safe...for a few seconds.

"Booomb!" Screeched the Titan as it descended, now face to face with the Snagems as it hovered just off the side of the peak. Again it would screech, the force of its screech blowing their hair and feathers. It was angry, and not just because they were trespassing but because they had insulted it, dishonored it by not just surviving the boulder it attempted to crush them with but foiling any attempts to do just that. How dare they existed in a 3D shape in its presence.

"Birdiiier!" It screeched again before vigorously beating its massive wings, a gale of wind sweeping the peak but most importantly the gusts of wind turning inward on themselves and creating numerous twisters which would dance across the flat peak, threatening to suck up any of the Snagems that got too close to them, the Titan executing a Whirlwind in an unusually widespread manner. While the twisters threatened them Bombirdier began to charge up an orb of Dark energy in its open beak, clearly preparing a much bigger attack than this. If they didn't do something about it their gut told them things were about to get much worse.

Boulders littered the peak, no doubt ammo from previous drops, to be reused later by the smaller Bombirdier.

Brian could almost feel the anger of the Titan Bombirdier as it screeched at them once Sol had cut the massive boulder in half. It was such an impressive display that he lost his breath for a few moments, at least until the Whirlwind started up, courtesy of an irate Flying/Dark-type Pokemon. Oh, so it wanted to try again? Two could play at that game. "Lu, run around and fire Aura Spheres at the tornadoes, but don't get too close to them; see if you can get them to circle around the twisters and send them at the Bombirdier," he said, and Lu took off at a run to do as he asked. "Randy, fire a Rock Slide at the Bombirdier, then follow it up with a Thunderbolt. Let's see how it likes a bit of payback."

The Dunsparce gave a cry of his name and smacked the ground with his tail, using the force of the hit to dislodge several rocks that were embedded into the ground nearby. Smacking the rocks with his tail, he sent them flying at the Titan, the followed them up with a crackling bolt of Electric-type energy. Granted, it wouldn't be nearly as powerful as it would coming from an Electric-type, but it would still hurt if it hit. Rachel, seeing Brian giving out commands already, rode Clint back onto the peak and got off his back just as the Skiddo turned to look at her. Giving a nod, she pointed at the other Pokemon gathered there.

"Use Helping Hand on as many of our allies as you can, then attack the Titan with Rollout," she said. "Use the boulders lying around to bounce off of if you need to, and don't get too close to those twisters." Clint gave a nod as he went around to each of the Pokemon he could see out, sending energy their way in the form of his Helping Hand, then turned his attention toward the Titan Bombirdier. Curling himself into a ball, he launched off the ground, spinning at a high rate of speed as he maneuvered around the twisters and boulders littering the area in an attempt to ram into the Bombirdier with the Rock-type move.

While he hadn't been able to quickly scramble up the mountain after the others due to the adrenaline wearing off and his concussion hitting in full, Beau was at least hard at work figuring out what he could do once he felt himself able to focus. Slowly opening up a Pokeball, Beau would find himself staring down at the Arboliva once again. "Ah man. I really need a labelling system I can remember while concussed. You were supposed to be Red Baron. Give me a quick lift to try and maneuver around this big bird thing." Beau grumbled, slowly turning his gaze back towards the peak in time to see a monstrous boulder being dropped towards the other Snagems. "Aw hell. Zippo, lets get up there! And...Screw it, name time. Hestia. Get on here and we'll get to see how powerful you are." Beau rambled out, hopping onto his Charizard and dragging the Arboliva on after him.

The trio would take off towards the peak, Beau already hard at work with his own plan. "Alright, time for some quick high explosives. I'm eyeballing the hell out of this because of lack of personal experience but those olives should be packing enough oil that with some powder to kickstart the reaction and a flame should have enough kick to at least throw it off crushing everyone. At least if what Chris told me was right.." Apparently, the demands had crossed some sort of line as once again, Beau was smacked squarely in the nose by a volleyball-sized olive. Cursing and attempting to quickly blink out the tears as he caught the olive in his arms, Beau would find his vision burned into with a absolutely dazzling beam of light blazed its way through the entirety of the rock and it was sent parting around the peak of the mountain. Right, other people were also around for doing the taking care of things with sudden explosive power bit. And a sight more precisely than an eyeballed explosive might have managed.

But seeing as the bird had landed and looked to preparing for a big attack, maybe the broken nose could be put to good use. As long as the Whirlwind didn't screw up the everything too much. Feeling Zippo already having to take some evasive maneuvers just to keep them vaguely in the right area, Beau would quickly give the olive a coating of Powder before looking towards their target. "Hestia. If you don't to be blown off, I'd recommend doing something to bind us all together." Beau told the Arboliva, watching as she just barely turned to look towards him and a few seeds would fall out from her casually swung arm. A mass of vines would erupt to grapple around her, Zippo, and Beau, making sure they would be kept together through the rapidly increasing winds. Although the sensation of energy slowly draining away did not fill Beau with confidence for what exactly was used to bind them.

"Alright, Zippo. Lets dive in and see what this does." Beau told his Charizard, the Pokeon rapidly diving towards the Bombirdier Titan. Keeping his arm steady even as the winds grew more intense, he would find himself reaching what he hoped was a good angle for this throw. Lobbing the olive, Beau shouted, "Flamethrower, Zippo!" A gout of flames would be quick to chase after the improvised explosive that aimed to catch the Powder coating it and detonating the thing. Hopefully it at least did something as Zippo's attempt to pull back from the dive would soon turn into being sucked into the massive Whirlwind that was oppressing them. Feeling himself being thrown around and wondering how the heck Zippo could be running out of steam without even having been in a fight today, Beau looked towards the vines that he had Hestia use to make sure they could withstand the winds together. The vines that all seemed to have spawned from a few seeds. And appeared to be nourishing the Arboliva. She used Leech Seed to bind them together. Sighing as he felt the slowly building weight of fatigue building up even faster, Beau muttered, "World's most spiteful plant...", and grabbed onto the vines as best he could while all three of them continued to be thrown around like a kite in a tornado.
