Oh, he was definitely laying it on thick and she was growing curious as to why he was. Modest as she may have initially been, even she couldn't deny that such flattery was rather nice to indulge in once in a while. Whether he was being disingenuous wouldn't matter unless things took a sideways turn...but wasn't she here to have fun and enjoy herself? To let go of care, at least a little? Her finger traced the rim of her glass in thought for a moment before deciding something.
"Certainly. I'd be glad to share a dance with you." Endolynn smiled to him, a light rosiness tinging her cheeks as she finished her drink. "I'm glad that I could entertain a fine gentleman like yourself."
She drained the water from its glass and slid both back to the bartender. "Sensual, you say? I suppose I was feeling myself in the music and atmosphere here." Turning and sliding from her seat at the bar she smiled at this mysterious male. "Shall we?"

“Good morning indeed, poppet!” Arana squeaked happily, wiggling slightly. She observed the other’s gaze when it drifted and became curious as to what distracted her. It didn’t take her eyes long to find what she was looking for - a curious sight to behold, a faucet seemed to be on the attack. Her ears twitched to the sound of the barks. “A good morning for us, but the cupcakes are going rotten..” She paused and looked up, nodding here and there, seemingly listening to a voice only she could hear. “Arana could do that…yes….hmm. Is Hatiet sure? Huh. Okay.” The methuselah stood, removing the hat carefully from her head. “Get ready, get set….GO!” Arana let out a strange cackle before throwing her hat across the room, her aim was just right - the hat landed next to the naughty utility. Arana enjoyed playing Cupid. A victory dance was in order, so Arana began swaying and waving her arms like the hippies of the past. “Does Dympna dance?”Ayia just sighed and placed her head in her hand. Why did she have to come with Arana? Now if the methuselah caused trouble, then trouble would find the neonate as well. She dusted a part of the couch off before taking a seat. Ayia observed the rest of the room, feeling quite uncomfortable. She debated on getting up to wander, the room was starting to fill up with guests, it would be easy to make her way around without being noticed. Her gaze returned to the newer fae, “It’s a pleasure to meet you, Dympna. This is a lively gathering, isn’t it”

Dympna gleefully watches the hat soar gracefully across the room to land beside the barking Faucy. She tilts her head to the side again, sending the bells chiming once more before speaking. "Dympna finds this gathering most lively, yes. Dance? Dympna has danced with Smiley and others before, but alas, the others did not survive the dance with Smiley." She pats the bloodied sign over her shoulder affectionately. "For Dympna to dance with fellow kindred, Smiley would have to sit the dance out, lest other dancers gain new booboos."

As the conversation continued, sort of, Paris decided he needed a drink. That decided he pulled away from his elder brothers side and bowed his head once to their host and his wife. "I'm going to get a drink, would anyone like anything while I'm getting myself refreshment?" He questioned, his eyes landing on his brother last. Getting a nod from his brother he waited for their host, and his wife, before he wandered off to find drinks. "While we cannot sing, as our mother can, we have both taken to the arts as she has. I've learned to design aand create clothing. What my brother and myself wear were done by my own hands." As it was cheaper to buy fabric, thread, and some needles and make your own things. It was easier than buying clothing, cheaper, and when it was just two vampire children on there own...well every bit saved was a good thing.
"I thought it would be nice to be around others who may find intrest in the same thing. Those to work with and gain inspiration from. My brother is learning from me, as a way to help ourselves and in time perhaps spread our fashion around. We were hopeful to find a place to belong."

There was, it seemed, an Incident brewing.
Alessa sighed, unhappily. Her eyes cut briefly to the Malkavians and the Giovanni, but that seemed to be...well, mostly handling itself. It might become her problem, and if she did, she was certain that it would be a massive headache, but it wasn't yet.
The real problem was whatever was going on between the two Gangrel and the Lasombra. That looked likely to come to blows, quickly--and it would be dereliction of her duty, even if the Lasombra were out of her jurisdiction, to let this go on.
With a sigh, she stood up, and moved over, drawing Majesty around her shoulders.
"Is there a problem here?"
A simple question, but cloaked in a certain layer of insistence: there had better not be a problem here, very quickly, or everyone involved would be made to regret it as best as Alessa could manage.

"A dance? That sounds lovely..." She nodded, as she looked around, trying to figure out where the dancefloor was. She arched a brow, noticing all of the... shenanigans going on around the room. "Assuming the dance floor is not going to be flooded..." She eyed the Malkavian and the now apparently living golden faucet that was accompanying her.
She glanced back at the comment about other company. "Perhaps but then again..." She gestured towards the inanity going on around them. "Perhaps it would lead to something distasteful and unpleasant. I would much rather an interaction with someone who is unlikely to leave my dress drenched by her bizarre... dog."

She smiled sweetly at the other Disciple, pleased that the other vampiress was interested. She didn't mind taking things slow. After all, that would make the excitement last that much longer - and Ishtar could pretend to be alive a while. It was a dance, and she loved dancing. She motioned to the bartender to bring her a drink. When it came she took a sip, though the wine did nothing for her. She swished it around, watching it swirl around the glass and signed. Some pleasures were not for her. She set the glass down and gazed longingly at Artemis. "I know how it is when first Risen and trying to get ones bearings. I myself have been asleep a while. Shall we navigate this party together at least?" She held a hand out to Artemis playfully, mischief in her eyes. "Let's mingle Darling."

Of course, Emppu would want to go exactly where the most trouble and danger was happening in the room. Those clan vampires were likely to turn on each other at any moment, and chaos would spread through the party like wildfire. Cassius gave the other vampire a slightly exasperated look. Though the son of Grendel would normally love to get himself caught up in a little trouble, tonight was becoming very important for the both of them. He was going to need Emppu to focus.
Moving toward the area where his mother had set up her little tarot reading station, Cassius glanced over at Emppu and let out a short sigh. Reaching up, he tucked a few loose strands over hair back behind his partners ear, and leaned in to brush lips against his neck and whisper. “If she says anything mean or negative, don’t take it too seriously.”
Leaning back away, he pulled Emppu along to the front of the line, having no intention of lining up and waiting like some idiot. Pushing himself up to the table, and knocking back the one who was next in line, Cassius reached into his pocket and pulled out the little bag of treasures that Emppu had procured. Dropping it down in front of her wordlessly, a smile tugged up the vampires lips.
“Hello, Mother. You’re looking well.”

Emppu grins as he catches Cassius slightly exasperated look. He was used to the chaos that ensued at death metal concerts, after all, so this was really... nothing to him but exciting. He leans his face against the hand tucking some of his hair behind his ear, then nods as Cassius speaks. "Well, this is your mother, correct? I would assume she would have negative things to say about any partner you might choose. It is a parents right to be hard on the possible partner." He quickly winks at Cassius and gives a flirtatious air kiss to him, then allows the other to pull him along with him to the front of the line, glaring daggers at the ones they had cut in front of, daring the weaklings to say anything about it.

“Oh yes I could certainly tell that you were feeling the music in your soul.” He was definitely going to lay it on thinck. It seemed to disarm and sometimes lower the other’s defenses. Compliment, compliment, compliment. Mismatched eyes watched her finger trace the rim of her glas. And then they watched as her throat move with each swallow or her drink. He could almost feel himself salavating. Offering her a hand he shot her the most charming look he could. “It would do me a great honor.” Upon taking her hand he would lead her out into the middle of the dance floor before turning and giving her a little spin. Once that move was completed he pulled her in close, a hand low on her waste as he placed her hand on his shoulder and he brought their clasped hands up. Ezo began to sway back and forth. “Are you a professional dancer or are you just a natural savant of the school of dance?” He wasn’t really interested but he could make small talk to continue working his way in.

“Nothing for me, thanks.” A drink was a distraction. They were talking business or at least as much business at Kitrye would allow. He let out a dreamy sigh. A rather loud, dreamy sigh. “Don’t we all seek a place to belong?” It was truth. He could not blame the Clanless for wanting a good lace to belong. To have conpatriote. Someone to have your back. Someone to collaborate with and bounce ideas off of. Someone…..to create works of exquisite art with. Ahhhhh, yessss. “I see.” Fleur was getting distracting now but he didn’t mind. He enjoyed having her here and showing her off. His beauty. His love. “A party my young friend is a bad place to talk this kind of business. You take away from the ambiance of enjoyment and sensuality. Quite the fopaux. But I will forgive you this transgression this time as you are not the first to approach me with business deals. However….” He leveled a gaze as the older brother. “I would not be opposed to you coming to the house at.a later time so we might discuss it more in private. And you can bring some other examples on your work.” Kitrye couldn’t help notice that there were a lot of seamstress type people wanting to join as of late.

“Cassius…” The Antediluvian’s voice was soft as silk. As sweet as honey as she spoke her son’s voice. Dark and dangerous. Hinting at at something perhaps just a little menacing. Reaching into the pouch, Cryso pulled out a gold coin and hit it before tossing it back into the pouch and adding it to the pile of belongings and money she had already swindled out of the unsuspecting mortals. “What brings you to my humble little table, Cassius?” Pink eyes watched her son with deadly intent. It had been as long time since she had seen her son. She was proud of her accomplishment though. A son of the strongest creature she knew. Quite the opposite of Zapathasura, but she still loved her feral son. She slide her tarot deck across the table towards Emppu. “Sit and shuffle the card/ until you are satisfied.” Placing her hands in her lap she sat up straight, eyeing Emppu with cold calculation. It was not obvious just how she felt about her son’s friend.

Amadeo felt the strong grip on his shoulder and his gaze shifted calmly to regard the newest addition to this mini-circus. "Ah, Thane." He'd gotten faster. "How delightful to see you. This.. enchanting creature was just telling me about the lovely wallpaper the Malkavians have skillfully redecorated their haven with. Wallpaper that might be quite familiar in style and script to our family." He was certain he didn't have to say more. Listening to the charm pour from the now Elder was a beautiful thing. He had learned much outside of just studying the depths of Giovanni Necromancy and.. other family matters. He was also popular with many of the family, not to mention the servants. He hadn't made a mistake in embracing him. Not that he'd ever been worried.
What came next was quite the outburst, yet the old vampire held fast to his spot. His instincts weren't usually wrong, he'd had a feeling some sort of scene was about to go off. His claws came up, palm open, to block the faucet from smacking his progeny in the face. Though the fervor with which she could puppeteer the golden demon, while simultaneously having a meltdown, was honestly impressive. Malkavian delusions were never half-assed.
"Signora, signora..." He gently implored, his voice soothing. "Calm yourself. For you do indeed have a vice." He looked down at her with his dark, ominous eyes. "Your love of, and devotion to, the welfare of neglected pets. Do you not see it?" Amadeo could feign kindness. He was gifted at social deception. He'd lay on the honey thick if it got her to stop wailing.

How true that statement was but it was rare she could find others who shared or understood her passion to the same degree, so she had tempered herself when it came to discussions...unless she did come in contact with someone who understood, which was always so enthralling. "It helps when the music is good, as well." She said with a smile.
Endolynn followed him to the dance floor, fluidly stepping into the spin he gave her with a quiet giggle. He certainly had her curious about his own dancing, gladly moving in close to follow his lead and match every step. "I took lessons when I was younger, but I've been making up dances of my own since I was old enough to walk." She kept her eyes on him, not even needing to see where they were going as they stepped and swayed together. "I would not necessarily call myself a professional, but I do perform dances beneath the moonlight on certain nights for those who wish to watch. I enjoy it and so do others, which makes it all the more rewarding."
She didn't want this to be entirely focused on her, though; she was quite curious about her mysterious dance partner. "What sort of things interest you, my good sir? Do you have a profession or a skill you're passionate about?"
