Régnier is a very confident - near-pompous - little wolf-dog. He prides himself on his great work within the pack, viewing his role as a knight as the ultimate honor for a Lord or Lady within the pack (that is, aside from true nobility). Not totally snotty, he does view the other ranks as valuable, just not as valuable. He takes his job very seriously, and will get quite short with anyone who tries to get in his way. Overall, he's sort of nice - his manners could use some work, absolutely, but he isn't an unpleasant wolf. Although, it is notable that he is a "one-upper": you tell him about something that happened to you and he'll immediately tell a story about something that happened to him of an even greater magnitude. Truly, he could do with some self-awareness.

History

Born into The Fallguard to two peasants, Régnier always aspired to do more. Hunting for the pack was simple enough, but guarding the pack was where the real work was. He bit his tongue throughout his youth, hiding much of his true colors, until he was granted the honor of serving as a knight. His parents passed away peacefully not too long thereafter - he was quite proud that they got to see him flourish before their passing - and, being an only child, is all alone within the pack.

Ashen Spruce has a bit of a grumpy streak, pessimistic to the fullest and just generally not the most family-oriented. Jealous of her twin's easy demeanor, there is a small part of her that wants to be more like him, all happy-go-lucky and helpful, but she doesn't have it in her (quite yet) to make the attitude adjustment. She's a glass-half-empty kind of gal who desperately needs her frown turned upside down.

History

Ashen Spruce was born to Willow Bark and Minnow, as a part of their second litter together, in The Swiftfell. Growing up, Spruce found herself not quite fitting in: she didn't have the easygoing, positive attitude that her siblings — particularly her twin, Ashen Willow —seemed to have. She was foul in spirit and in tongue, and as she grew this did not change. Although best suited for a hunter position within the pack, her father steered her into a different position, knowing that she wouldn't do well with the working dynamic of the hunters.
