[ORP - Game] Motoujamii Man-hunt

Eish sighed and decided to wander back to the Sandstorm Refuge. She caught sight of the lioness who wasn't Agni-pariksha again, though didn't go over to talk this time. Hmm. Maybe it was because she'd found the other lioness that she was having trouble locating the Regent.

Well then, perhaps she'd have better luck now. She could only hope.

Location: Pridal Oasis

The Soldier glanced into the Barracks that Nuria had brought them to. There were a number of lions here, but he didn't see any with Agni-pariksha's distinctively dark fur.

"I don't see anything," he told his mate quickly. "Let's go over to the Oasis. At the very least we can take a moment to drink something - all this looking is hot work." Really, he was thirstier right now than he was interested in finding the Regent, but it wouldn't do to tell Nuria that.

With a growl of frustration, the Hunter finally gave up searching the Barracks. He hadn't seen hide nor hair of Agni-pariksha. Still, he might as well continue to stay inside. There was the Sandstorm Refuge across the way to investigate.

Ud frowned a bit as he turned in circles. Something was niggling at the back of his mind, something like he was being followed. Or perhaps accidentally following the lioness he was looking for? He closed his eyes and let out a slow breath, focusing on the task at hand. When he opened his eyes he began his search anew, and he was surprised when it didn't take him long at all to spot the red lioness he was looking for.

The adolescent approached her slowly, hoping he could sneak up on her and keep her from escaping.

Location: Training Grounds

Chante-peta nodded to her decided perhaps that was what they were doing wrong. Maybe sticking together was what they needed to do. "It wouldn't hurt to try that." he suggested with a shrug. At this point he was up for anything. Why not try this? It seemed like a good idea. They'd cover twice as much land, and take less time finding the regent.

He followed her to the Oasis, but after a bit of looking, it didn't seem like she was there either. Gosh, this was much harder than he had expected. He never thought this would be so long! Well, no matter, he was done with this area and looked to the others.

"Let's hit up the training grounds and see if she's there."

Baise searched every inch of the Training Grounds, even though she saw no signs of her target and the fact she'd searched that location already. She had to admit that she was starting to tire of this game. She had no idea how close she'd been to the regent. They might be on complete opposite ends of the pridal lands for the entire duration of the game and she would never know!

"Gah! Where is she?!" She growled under her breath, nose curling in distaste.

Sneaking up quietly, Ud tried to blend in. Maybe because he wasn't an adult she wouldn't realize he was part of this hunt! He just had to get close enough...

He tried not to look suspicious as he approached her. Just a few more steps!

Closer...closer...oh no, he'd been spotted! Ud quickly pounced to cut off the Regent's escape and was surprised when he actually managed to stop her. He looked up at the lioness with wide golden eyes before realizing he had actually done it.

"Ud," he said, standing up a bit straighter as pride swelled his chest. He had done it! "I started by finding your father...perhaps that was good luck," he added, very delighted he had managed to succeed after the initial incorrect attempt.

Skill. Of course. Ud nodded in agreement, proud that he hadn't given up after all this time. He had been so sure he had been on the right course, or at least very close! He watched the Regent turn to find a new hiding place before heading back in the direction she had told him to go in. There he found two lions waiting, although one he knew wasn't in on the hunt.

"Did you find Agni-pariksha as well?" he asked the lioness, tilting his head a bit with interest. If so, it seemed he was only the second one to have found her. That in itself was impressive. All those adults roaming around and he was the one that had been successful.

Alya acknowledged Chante's suggestion, moving towards the training grounds as her suggestion seemed to yield no success. "While we're in this direction, maybe we should loop back towards the sandstorm refuge?" she added as she walked. She spoke quietly, but it occurred to her that perhaps their chatter wasn't helping their cause.

"And... maybe we should keep conversation to a minimum. We're capable enough to move ourselves around silently, right?" The soldier gave a toothy smile to her companions before continuing on her way.

Vatra had been taking full advantage of the opportunity to gloat, lounging next to the Regent's brother with an insufferably smug expression. Anyone that pushed the guy too hard for hints ended up getting needled by the lioness, who found this far more fun than trying to get him to talk. He wasn't a talker, or at least today he wasn't. Bo-ring. Yeah, making those guys regret questioning him was much more entertaining.

At the question, she turned and flashed a sharp-toothed grin. "That'd be me, and..." She stopped, looking Ud up and down quickly. "Well damn, how'd a kid like you find her?" Agni-pariksha must have slipped up, or forgotten that the older kids could play too.
