Grabbing Fireball after she finished getting ready, Phoebe left her dorm to head to the cafeteria. She was excited to catch a pokemon for the first time! It'd be a playmate for Fireball and a great way for him to get experience. There was also the playdate that her and Maria planned for later today. Phoebe wondered who she'd bring to the meeting spot. Obviously, she was going to see if Ichiro would like to come, same with Ava if she saw her. She'd bring up to Ichiro that it'd also be a good chance to bring up his club and maybe get more members. She knew he'd need a few at the least for performances. Plus if Ava came, she could help Phoebe describe the battle that happened yesterday to the people at the playdate who weren't there. Though, she was sure everyone by now heard the results. Faye didn't seem like she'd keep that win subtle.
Phoebe went through the line with Fireball handing onto her. She decided on oatmeal and put some berries in it for flavor. Her hands grabbed a bowl of pokefood for her little fire lizard, who happily reached down to grab a piece of it to munch on until they got to the table. Phoebe moved out of line and went to a empty table. She figured Ichiro would see her better here. She quickly shot him a message saying she was there and grabbed them a table. After setting down the pokefood for Fireball, Phoebe started on her own breakfast. The oatmeal was pretty good with the flavor of berries accenting it. She'd have to get this more often when she came for breakfast

Yesterday's events were insane. Gym was crazy fun and the battle was insane. Her friend won! Faye won! She deserved it too. What mean person would use a move like Vice Grip on a small Eevee like that!? Apparently Chael. Things were certainly messy between Chael and Faye. Ava didn't personally know the boy, but if he was that mean to her friend, she certainly wasn't inclined to like him very much. After a quick shower, teeth brushing, and dressing, Ava was ready to take on the day. She didn't wear makeup or put a lot of time into getting ready in the morning. Fritz on her shoulder, she started heading for the cafeteria.
It just felt weird being alone in all of this. Sure, she had Fritz with her, and while he did wonders towards getting her to go places "by herself", Ava still felt a little bit alone. Maybe she'd be able to find some people to go out to the Forest or into town today. But first, she needed food. Some pokefood for Fritz and a bowl of cereal for her. There were a decent number of people here eating breakfast. Some were dressed for the day, others were just in pajamas or the like. Ava sat herself down at the first table she could find. Maybe she could try to find one of her classmates and go exploring somewhere. But for now, she ate her cereal and pondered where to go.

Evelyn headed for the cafeteria after finishing up in the club office. She was glad to be done everything to make things official. However, she wanted to get more members. Hopefully others would join. Maybe Chess, Kirsi, or Cécile would consider joining. They hadn’t given her an answer the other day. As she thought more about how she could get more members for her club, Evelyn tripped falling flat on her face. “Owe…” She moaned getting up off the ground. Why she couldn’t even stay on her own two feet was beyond her. Dusting herself off, she continued on her way hoping to get to the cafeteria without any more incidence.
Entering the café Evelyn was relieved to not have any more face plants. Grabbing some food the dark haired girl nearly dumbed her tray before getting to the table. With a sigh of relieve as she prevented a massive mess, she took a seat before anything else could happen. Taking out Yamask’s pokéball, she released her friend from it with a smile. “Morning Yamask, it’s time for breakfast.” She told him brightly. The ghost type seemed to smile before floating over to his meal. Evelyn watched him for a moment before eating her toast and eggs.
Her mind began to wander… What was she going to do for the rest of her day off? She supposed going around finding some Pokémon to watch wouldn’t hurt. However, hanging with friends wouldn’t be a bad idea either. She needed to stop being so antisocial. Only problem was she didn’t know what her friends would be up to for the day either. Maybe they didn’t even know… Sighing, Evelyn didn’t know what to do. Though she knew she’d figure it out eventually. There was a whole day ahead of her after all.

Entering the rapidly filling Cafeteria, Faye made sure to keep the swinging door open so Amirah could follow in behind her without the threat of getting her tail caught in the closing barrier. The Eevee trotted in happily, looking around at all the other Pokémon eagerly, but remaining with her Trainer for now. Faye kept facing the door for a few moments after entering, looking at the reflective glass window. Her eyes were still very red from her breakdown in the Courtyard, but she already had a plan for that. If anyone asked, she just say she'd been up late with the other Charizard Students as they wanted to talk with her longer.
Taking in a deep breath, Faye turned around and scanned the room. She spotted Ava and smiled brightly. She remembered seeing her friend at the battle yesterday, but she hadn't had a chance to talk to Ava afterwards. Now seemed like a good time, Amirah....over there. Go visit with Ava, I'll get some food for you." The little Eevee yipped happily and bounded across the room to the short haired girl. Amirah wound her way around Ava's legs happily. Faye saw none of this, as she focused on getting something to eat. Picking up one of the trays, Faye thought about what to eat. Her stomach was still tense and uncomfortable from her phone call to her Father, so she figured something bland and easy to digest would be good.
Faye selected a yogurt bowl garnished with fresh berries and granola. A glass of orange juice and a fresh apple completed her tray. She grabbed a bowl of Pokechow for Amirah as well. Walking over the table Ava was at, Faye smiled brightly hoping it would distract from her red rimmed eyes, "Morning Ava. How are you? I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you yesterday...things got a little crazy. How about we hang out today? I was thinking of heading into the Lamia District. You want to come along, I'm sure there'll be lots of things to do." Faye set down the bowl of Pokémon food for Amirah, but also offered her Eevee the crisp red apple she'd grabbed. The little fox's eyes grew wide and she bit into the fruit with a passion, planting it between her paws. Faye made a note of that in her mind, her Eevee liked apples. It was good to know what the Pokémon liked as a treat, it would work well to getting her to listen better. She started to eat her own breakfast, waiting for Ava's response.

Getting a message on the way to the cafeteria, Maria looked at her pokégear. “Pup pup?”(What is it?)Lillipup asked curiously as her trainer stopped for a moment.“It’s Phoebe.” Maria answered her Pokémon. The puppy Pokémon sat down waiting for Maria to finish before continuing on their walk. “Yeah works for me. We can meet up for lunch and go from there.” She replied before continuing down the hall.
Entering the cafeteria Maria grabbed some breakfast for her and Lillipup. Finding a seat she set some poke food for Lillipup. “Here you go.” She said with a smile. Looking down at her pokégear, Maria decided to send off a quick message to Iris. “Hey Iris its Maria, Phoebe and I are having a playdate this afternoon. We’re getting all our friends together for it and I was wondering if you wanted to come? We’re meeting up at lunch time in the cafeteria if you do.” She sent off to her roommate with a smile.
Closing her device, Maria went to eating her morning fruit. Looking down at Lillipup who seemed content eating away, she wondered what she would do for the rest of the day. Maybe wonder into the forest or something. She could find Silvano… speaking of him she should probably invite him too. Picking up her pokégear one last time she sent one final message. “Morning Silvano, I know you aren’t into the whole Pokémon thing… but I’m going to be having a playdate this afternoon with a friend of mine. We’re getting all our friends together for it and I was wondering if you wanted to come? We’re meeting up at lunch time in the cafeteria if you’re interested.” She sent off closing her pokégear once more. Whatever he decided to do was entirely up to him.

Chael walked in with his usual stride, being over the loss of the day prior. Nysa and him just needed to act less brashly and train more was all. Maybe he'd try and contact the battle professor for tutoring later today? It was a free day so he had plenty of time to do so. He got his breakfast: French toast, eggs benedict, and a mug of black coffee with two sugars and made his way to the table he sat at before. Avoiding people wasn't something out of shame or anger- he would have set himself apart anyways and that was something other students had to have caught on by now. For all purposes, Chael Riverton fancied himself a bit of a lone Mightyena.
As for his starter, she sat next to him and ate the delegated Pokemon food and the fruit that her trainer rarely touched. While Faye was an enemy, her Eevee packed an impressive punch so the Pinsir could at least look forward to fighting a worthy opponent again later. Despite her loss, it had been a close call as far as she cared. The Bug type would train harder to not let her trainer down again- though he seemed more keen on babying her instead of acting harsher to her for the loss. Despite being fully healed by the very skilled Nurse of Ordell Academy, he had been much more attentive to her.

X⇒ LOCATION : CafeteriaXXXXX⇒ WITH : Phoebe While on his way to the cafeteria, Ichiro had felt his PokeGEAR vibrate in his pocket, signifying that he had received a message. Right away he knew it was Phoebe's reply, without even checking. Coming to a brief stop in the hallway, Ichiro gently put down the plant pokemon he had been carrying in his arms so that he could dig out his PokeGEAR and check out Phoebe's message. A smile crossed his features when he read that Phoebe confirmed that they'd head out after breakfast. It sounded good to him, so immidiately he began to text Phoebe back.
『 Thank you for your understanding -- also, heading out after we eat sounds great. See ya when I get to the cafeteria ^.^ 』
After sending off his text message, he returned his PokeGEAR to his pocket and once again lifted his Oddish up off the floor and carried the pokemon with him to the cafeteria, which was only a couple yards away. He didn't really have to text Phoebe back, but he was just thrilled with being able to do so and would likely send Phoebe a million messages if he could. He had never owned a cell phone before and so it was just another cool and exciting thing in his simple world.
Heading into the Cafeteria, Ichiro quickly scanned the room, hoping to see Phoebe. At first he noticed a few other familiar faces, including Faye and Ava who were speaking to one another. In a way, Ichiro felt happy for the blonde and that she was reaching out to some of the other students despite her aristocratic nature. In his mind, he wondered if Faye could use a few more friends and that maybe one day he could get to know her better and maybe become one of them. Just when he had made that thought, he felt his PokeGEAR go off once again in his pocket. "That might be Phoebe again." He mused before shifting Oddish into the crook of one arm and pulling out the device with his other. Flipping it open once again, he quickly confirmed that he was right, but felt a wave of embarasement wash over him when he read that she was in the cafeteria and which table she was exactly at. Whipping his head around to the direction specified, sure enough, there was Phoebe, sitting at a large table all to herself with Fireball, eating something from a bowl. How the heck did he manage to not see her? She'd she'd probably poke fun at him for it. He imagined her sitting there watching him look for her and then decided to get his attention with a text. He probably looked silly in her eyes.
Shaking his head at himself, Ichiro decided to quickly type off a reply back to her, one-handedly. Sending off the text without even proof reading it.

Then shortly after he had hit the send button, he was already headed over to Phoebe's table while slipping his PokeGEAR back into his pocket. "Good Morning Phoebe, it's good to see you again." He beamed at her as he neared her table, stopping at a chair right across from her. Gently he set down his Oddish on the table who didn't exactly stay put and had wandered over the tabletop to get a closer look at the dark haired girl, looking up at her with curious eyes. "That's Phoebe, my best friend." Ichiro told the pokemon with a pit of a chuckle. "And Phoebe, this is Oddish -- who I've yet to think of a name of, too -- but she found me the other day." He then quickly explained before coaxing his Snivy off of his shoulder and to sit in the chair next to him. Just as Snivy usually did, he behaved and stayed put, but had his gaze fixed on Fireball for some reason.
Sliding his satchel off his shoulder, Ichiro put it down on the table before returning his attention back to Phoebe, noting what she had grabbed herself for breakfast."Your Oatmeal looks pretty good, I think I might grab the same -- its tempting me."He told her before taking hold of Oddish and sliding the plant pokemon back some, so that the 12" pokemon wasn't invading Phoebe's eating space as much. He had no idea why the plant pokemon was so interested in Phoebe, and was surprised Fireball didn't spook her at all. Regardless, he was just happy to see Phoebe again and wanted to talk to her about so many things, including the battle from the other day. But first, he needed to grab some breakfast. "I'll be right back. I'm gonna get some oatmeal, too." Ichiro then told Phoebe after being inspired to get the same.
With that, Ichiro quickly shuffled on over to the line and ordered some apple cinnamon variety of oatmeal and placed a small bowl of it on a tray before grabbing two smaller bowls of pokefood for the two grass types he left at Phoebe's table. With his tray now full, Ichiro began to head back over to Phoebe's table, though on his way back, he had spotted yet another familiar face, a brunette with a Lilipup who was sitting all by herself. "Hey, Maria!" He called out to the girl, a big smile on his face. "You and Lilipup should come join us at Phoebe's table." He waved at her. He hoped Maria wouldn't mind the idea of joining them, and he figured Phoebe probably wouldn't mind since the two seemed to get along and probably were even friends. So why not? "C'mon, don't be a loner." He laughed good naturedly before heading back over to his and Phoebe's table.
"I'm back." Ichiro smiled as he set down his tray on the table before passing a bowl of Pokefood to both Snivy and Oddish. The two pokemon didn't waste any time digging in, though Snivy ate much slower than Oddish did. The grass snake usually always ate his food one block at a time, taking small nibbles as if he didn't like to be seen eating. Sitting down in the chair across from Phoebe, Ichiro decided to let his bowl of oatmeal cool off first before taking a bite. "Hey, you don't mind if Maria joins us? I feel bad that she's by herself."

Nearing the cafeteria, Silvano had stopped in his tracks when he felt his PokeGEAR go off in his pocket. For a brief moment, he assumed it must have been Niara texting him back to confirm their meeting place as well as the rest of the day's plans that they had. However, when he pulled out the device and flipped it open to examine its text on screen, he was surprised to see that it was instead a message from Maria. 'Why is she texting me? Maybe she wants to hang out too?' Silvano wondered to himself as he opened the message. Apparently, Maria was offering him a chance to meet up in the afternoon for some kind of pokemon playdate, which Silvano couldn't help but immediately scoff at. Was she serious? What the heck was a playdate going to accomplish? Then again, it could serve as a good excuse to hang out with his hometown friend who usually tried to avoid him. So maybe it wasn't entirely out of the question.
Hesitantly, Silvano began to text Maria back. Even though she knew he wasn't interested in being close to pokemon, and had mentioned that knowledge in her text, Silvano could barely hide his distain and comprised his reply out of rancor.
『 Morning, Maria. You're asking me if I would like to participate in a pokemon playdate? You're kidding, right? That's one of the lamest things I've ever heard. You have to be pretty thick in the head to orchestrate that kind of waste of time. However, I have a friend that might be interested. I'll see if she wants to go before I deign to. Good luck. 』
After sending off his text, Silvano continued on his way to the cafeteria, still a little irked by Maria's text message, despite its innocence. He didn't know why, but he felt like Maria's message was purposely sent to him just to bug him, even though that wasn't typical of Maria's character. Though, if Niara liked the idea, perhaps they'd go if they had time. It was tough to say. He already had no idea how long it would take to search for a pokemon. Letting out an exasperated sigh, Silvano hesitantly made his way into the cafeteria and got into line for some food. He didn't exactly take the time to look around and see who was already seated at the tables since his mind was preoccupied by the advice Niara had given him the other day about eating well. She mentioned getting more protein, so that's what he'd consider while making his decision. Grabbing an empty tray, Silvano waited patiently for his turn while once again scrutinizing the menu.

“…You’re really going to do it today?” Sitting opposite to his childhood friend, Hayato sliced his toast and forked a piece of it into his mouth. He watched her as she was struggling to learn how to use her Pokegear. Her eyebrows furrowed in deep concentration as her gaze had transformed into a glare.
“Shi! (yes) It’s free day today. A perfect timing! Koru will be happy and Fong can gain experience too. Right Fong?” Replying cheerfully, Xiatian briefly gave a thumb up to her partner who simply shrugged and continued eating berries in the bowl. The fighting type wasn’t feeling bothered much by the plan the human girl just came up with last night at their dorm. In fact, she was looking forward to it, though she wouldn’t admit it to any living soul. Her nonchalant demeanor could easily fool others if their eyes weren’t as sharp as the navy-haired boy. “See? Fong agrees.” Xiatian then looked to the boy and smiled. “Haru can come and watch too. The more the merrier.” “No thanks. I have a plan.” Hayato took a sip of his coffee and finished his breakfast. Accepting his answer, the girl nodded and soon returned her attention to the gear in her hands randomly tapping the screen to see if anything will appear. Folding his arms on the table, the boy sighed at her less-than-good attempt. It had always been like this, even back at Lavaridge town, her hometown. Her ability to adapt to the functions of technological devices was below than average for some reason. It was supposed to be easy to use in everyday life but she managed to make it look so hard like solving mathematical problems.
Finally he’d have enough. “Li, hands your gear over.” Looking up, the girl sent him a questioning look and in response, he sighed. “Just give me your gear. You won’t get anything done at that pace.” He reached out, grabbed her gear and showed her the screen. “Watch and learn. This is how you navigate around the touchscreen….”
It had been very early in the morning when the two arrived at the cafeteria. How early? Well let’s simply say that there was plenty of time to get some more sleep instead of standing there in front of closed doors and waiting for its opening time. At the time, he really wished that he could return to his bed but when a boy like him had a friend who always wakes up before the sun rises and is so fixed on having breakfast together each and every morning, then his opinion on the matter held no value to her. By the time he was done teaching, the room had filled with considerable number of students, though it wasn’t overcrowded. “…now, try it yourself. Hold your gear like this and point it to your partner, then tap the scan icon.”
Nodding at his instruction, Xiatian received her gear back and did just as she was told to do. The result of her action was a blue beam of light shooting out from the device and screened the fighting type wholly for stats and moveset which soon appeared on the uppder screen of her pokegear before followed by a monotone voice from the speaker.
“Mienfoo, a fighting type pokemon. In fights, they dominate with onslaughts of flowing, continuous attacks. With their sharp claws, they cut enemies and it takes pride in the speed at which it can use moves. What it loses in power, it makes up for in quantity. They have mastered elegant combos. As they concentrate, their battle moves become swifter and more precise.”
“哇 (waaa), amazing!” The golden-brown haired girl was truly impressed by the light and information given to her, eyes sparkling in wonder. This gear was no doubt useful to her and everybody. She directly faced her childhood friend and said,“Thank Haru! You’re a big help!”
In response, the boy simply shrugged as if that didn’t really worth feeling appreciated over. “It was nothing. Later, you should find some time and have practices over using your gear. If you become used to it, it’ll greatly assist you in a battle. Got it?” He received a nod from her before taking another sip of the coffee. Meanwhile, Xiatian proceeded to pull out several rare candies out of her bag and give it to her partner sitting on the table. The fighting type sniffed at the foreign objects before taking one into her mouth, chewing it. “Ah! I forgot!” At the reminder, Xiatian quickly scrolled through her contact list and stopped at the K section which had only one name under it. Then she pressed ‘call’ right away and waited for the person on the other side to pick up. While waiting, she looked around the cafeteria, searching for a dark-peach haired person but instead she found someone else which also looked familiar. “Ah! Eve!!!!!! Over here!!!” Wait, what?? ”Spit!! COUGH, COUGH, cough, cough!” Damn, what a waste. And it had been doing good job in waking him up too. But one really shouldn’t blame him for it. He didn’t do it on purpose.It was the girl’s fault for shouting ‘that’ while he was drinking. And was this supposed to be a new prank on him? He wiped his mouth with a napkin and glared straight at his friend. “Okay, that’s it. I’m not going to help you anymore whenever you come running for helps!”

Midway through a bite of whole grain cereal, an Eevee began to suddenly wind itself around Ava's feet. While Fritz remained on the table where the Eevee couldn't bat him around, Ava grinned, leaning her hand down to pet its soft fur. "You must be Amirah, huh?" Ava took a moment to scan it with her Pokedex, allowing it to rattle off some information about the beast. Nevermind that; Ava could always check it later. "Hmm... Well if you're here, Faye's probably on her way." Just what Ava was hoping for: a friend to join for breakfast! And in no time whatsoever, that's just what happened. With a smile, Faye sat herself down across from Ava. She sad some good mornings, quickly getting into the possibility of hanging out that day. "Aw, it's all ok. But hanging out sounds really cool! I'm down! We could also go exploring in the woods. I kinda wanna look around over there." Ava nodded, these thoughts dancing about in her head. This day was getting more and more exciting by the moment. "Oh, do you wanna add your number into my phone?" Ava asked, sliding the device her way before Faye could even get a word out. "We could text or something if we wanna hang out in the future!"Ava had never had a cell phone before, so the whole concept was really neat. She took some more bites of cereal, getting close towards the bottom. Fritz ate his fill of pokefood quite easily. Someone of his size didn't exactly need to eat a whole lot. Maybe he'd need more when he eventually evolves, but that was a long way away, somethign Ava didn't think too much about.
As the responses ended, Ava realized that Faye's eyes were really, really red. For a little bit, she couldn't help but stare before asking, "Hey, your eyes are really red. You ok?" Maybe she had something in her eye. Or had poked her eye out before? It was something her parents constantly warned Ava about doing during her and her brother's adventures back home. In curiosity, Fritz moved a bit closer towards Faye, his eyes fixated on hers as he nibbled on some pokefood. The girl, honestly, seemed fine. But it was good to ask just in case.

Done with his food and mostly done with his coffee, Chael took out his planner to jot down a few notes. He had forgotten the name of the battle instructor, so he put a note to go to the office and find their name and hopefully their office hours. Ignoring the incoming students, he managed to look over the notes that he had taken in both his Breeding and Contest classes. Mainly preliminary stuff for them to get a hang of the subjects, though he wondered if he should stop by the library in order to get a grasp on future chapters. "And I suppose you'll need to stretch your legs sometime today as well." he noted towards his Pinsir, Nysa. They had gone to the forest first and they had participated in Gym class enough.
Chael closed his planner and put it back away. He had a few things that needed to be done by the end of the day, though he had no intention of starting before he finished his morning coffee. It was one part to wake him up and one part ritualistic. The boy always started a day with a cup of coffee ever since his father introduced him to it as a younger boy. It had started on a business trip to the Sevii Islands a few years prior, where his father had bought some indigenous coffee and shared it with Chael one morning. Ever since then, even without his father present, Chael enjoyed the tradition.

Evelyn was looking around at all the students as she ate breakfast. Ichiro was with Maria and another friend of his. The boy with the Pinsir was by himself. The blonde girl he had lost to - according to what she heard – was with another girl. That one boy… ‘What was his name again…?’ Silvano was waiting in line. And then there was Hayato and Xia-tian… they were sitting together of course. It was only natural. What she wasn’t expecting was Xia-tian calling her over.
Blinking for a second, Evelyn looked to Yamask. “Come on Yamask.” She told him. Getting up from her seat the dark haired girl placed his food on her tray before heading over to the two with her tray in hand. Yamask following not far behind as he watched his trainer in hopes that she didn’t trip over her own two feet. Luckily she didn’t and Evelyn made it to the table without much trouble for once.“Hi Xia-tian, Fong… Hayato… What’s up?” Evelyn greeted both of them with a smile. “Got any plans for today?” She asked taking a seat next to Hayato by shear happenstance. She hadn’t noticed Hayato’s reaction when Xia-tian called her over. Maybe that was for the best.
As she waited for an answer from them both, Evelyn gave Yamask back his food. After he was happily eating again she took a drink of her chocolate milk.“Oh! Great news I started a research club.” She told them brightly. “It was Koru’s idea. Don’t know if either of you would be interested in joining?”She asked almost sounding absentminded. Evelyn thought that at least maybe Hayato might be interested but Xia-tian, she wasn’t so sure. It didn’t seem like her thing but who knew, it could happen. Course she was only bringing it up as a general conversation topic. Though she was sure Xia-tian could easily keep a conversation going for the both of them. One of the many reasons Evelyn liked her.

Faye smiled back at Ava, somewhat glad that she wasn't upset about her shrugging her off yesterday. Not that she would have cared much, Faye could have figured out a way to bribe Ava into liking her again. But it didn't appear that she needed to go that far. Munching on her granola yogurt, Faye nodded in agreement as Ava pushed her Pokegear across the table, offering her number to the Rhoades Heiress. Exchanging numbers brought back the bad memory of her call to her Father in the Courtyard, but Faye lowered her head, covering her eyes with her longer bangs so Ava won't see the pain flit across her face briefly. Getting control of herself, the golden child smiled and took out her own device, "That's a wonderful idea Ava. That way we'll be able to keep in contact all the time. Maybe even text back and forth in class a little. Not sure if I really want to head into the forest, not really my thing. But if you want to take a nature walk...I ...guess I can tag along for a bit. I really more wanted to check out the local stores and such first. The weather's getting warmer, I bet I could find a super cute outfit for you. How about this for a plan...we finish up our breakfast here and grab the first train to the Lamia District. Spend a few hours there and then we can head back to Campus. If you're still up for a walk in the woods, I'll totally come along. Kay?"
Most of what Faye said was true....expect perhaps for the part about going with Ava into the Forest. If she really pushed it, the blond girl would accompany her. But Faye was so not into the outdoor thing, it was just not her thing. And really, Ava was pretty easygoing and rather simple to read. She would probably just do what Faye wanted...most people did. And that suited her just fine. However her next mouthful of food was almost choked on when Ava leaned closer and asked why her eyes were red. Mind whirling, Faye chew slowly before carefully swallowing and smiling tightly at the short haired girl, "Are they red? Must have been from the dash I did to get here. I stubbed my toes on one of the bench legs in the Courtyard on my way through. It really hurt and my eyes must have watered from it. No biggie...I'm all good. Thanks for asking Ava, you're a really great friend." The last part was a blatant lie on Faye's part. She was annoyed that the shorter haired girl had asked about her appearance. Really, Ava should have just ignored her red rimmed eyes. That was the polite thing to do, it didn't involve her at all. But Faye didn't want to snap too much at Ava, while they were defiantly friends, they hadn't gotten to know each other too well yet. Best to build allies where she could.
As Faye finished off her breakfast, a slight flash of yellow caught her attention. Ava's Joltick seemed to take an interest in her and was moving closer. Now creeped out, Faye shifted back, putting her hand down on the seat and eyeing the six legged bug. Ava was still eating and hadn't noticed her Pokémon getting more interested in the Rhoades girl. While Faye wasn't panicking yet, the closeness of the bug was starting to irritate her...ALOT. "Ava...can you maybe put you Pokémon back on your shoulder. You're Joltick is kinda cute, in a weird sorta way....but I really don't care for Bug Pokémon much. And its...kinda....getting close to me." Faye tried hard to keep her tone neutral, or at least she thought she did. But Faye Valeri Rhoades was not the kind of girl to hold back her thoughts, even to one she considered a friend. So her voice came out in a rather snide and repulsive tone instead. Assuming that Ava did as Faye asked and moved the little yellow Pokémon, Faye smiled in a much more relaxed fashion before asking, "Thanks....you ready to head out?"

Iris was walking into the cafeteria when she was immediately hit with messages on her Pokegear. The first was from Maria.Reading it over, the girl smiled as she managed to the walk to a table without bumping it or anyone. Iris immediately typed back. "Sounds great, Tell Phoebe I said good morning. In fact me and Silvano are suppose to go catch pokemon with Niara and Harukaze today as well. You should totally join in with us. The more the merrier right =D."
She sent the message before looking at the one from Niara as the other girl told her that she was meeting 'Tony' in the cafeteria. Iris chuckled as she smiled. Her fingers were once again a flutter as she texted Niara.
"I already beat you to the cafeteria XD..." Iris looked and then continued. "In fact I see Silvano already. See ya when you get here."
The message was sent and Iris made her way to Silvano on line to get food.
"Morning Silvano." Iris said as she smiled at him. "Feeling better?" the girl asked out of concern before she continued talking. "Oh did you get the text from Maria. I don't know how she knows Phoebe from my class but Maria and her are doing a play date. Wanna join in? Zubat can have fun and you can see my new pokemon. And then we can leave to look for pokemon. Today is going to be so much fun."
Iris looked at Silvano with such bright and hopeful eyes. Surely no one with a heart would say no to her at this point.
