Despite her attempt at a good deed being unnessesary, Garnet earned some thanks from Avikna for trying to protect Nepherit. The pup dragon had survived the blast, but Garnet however did not. Tay came rushing over, quickly collecting the fainted Grovyl in her arms. "That was intense, Avikna!" Tay shouted, looking over towards where the explosion had happened. The Graveler was twice as fainted as it's companion it seemed, covering is scorch marks. Avikna nodded, knealing down beside Garnet and Tay. "Let's get her healed up." Avikna suggested, pulling the Grovyle into her arms. She was surprisingly light. It was easy enough carrying the gecko across to the Pokemon Center. There nurse joy did her job. Tay, amist worrying for Garnet happened upon an egg while they waited outside the ER. She was entirely eager to celebrate, but as soon as Garnet got out, they could head to Kanto... How Avikna dreaded the thought.

It felt as though the air itself thinned, though breathing was no harder than normal. Adder was... used to the sensation, somewhat. It happened when Luna left to her own universe, or at least, he assumed it was hers. Wherever she originated. This time, however, as the portal (or whatever it was) opened, something else came out instead-- another cosmog.

"Oh come on!" Adder threw his hands up in the air and turned away, exasperated. He jerked his pokedex up, intent on proving the uselessness of this, but frowned when... oh joy, this one knew teleport. "So, what, you were gonna just keep replacing it till you got one that could teleport?" he muttered. Luna, however, ignored him. She hovered above the ground, but lifted higher, and more horizontal, bowing down to nudge him again with her head -- her version of a good bye hug. He frowned and shoved her away -- his version of a good bye hug. He didn't really want her to leave, though... even if this second cosmog could teleport, he didn't really want two gaseous orbs floating around him, especially when one wouldn't stop bumping into him. He shot it a glare as, yet again, it seemed to nudge at him, but looked back to Luna. He was pretty sure she was leaving...

Adder's expression grew more sullen as he looked at Luna, who drew back in return. She lifted up into the air, the eye returning. Adder couldn't keep his gaze on her and looked off, pouting and lifting his shoulders. He saw her disappear, but stayed still a moment, before huffing in frustration, and turning on his heel to start walking, brushing the initial cosmog off. The other was waddling off to join Charmander and Chikorita. The tween just needed to blow off some steam... stretch his legs, stride around, do something for a moment. He'd help find the egg after.

Walking around at the full stride that his short legs could take him actually did help. It also made him realize it was a really good thing this egg hunt wasn't a marathon or anything. He was out of shape. He should probably.... try exercising or something, but, really, that wasn't his thing. At all. He placed his hands on his hips as he came to a stop once he'd found his pokemon again, catching his breath from what was honestly only a very brisk walk. He perked up when his pokemon found an egg, though, and did a light jog over, before looking to the 'newer' cosmog. "So, uh... can you teleport us?" he asked, a bit demandingly, "We need to go to Hoenn next." The little floating gas blob looked at him, its eyes much less round, or even cute, than it's 'friend', which had bobbed over to hover beside Adder. Luckily, though, it seemed to knwo what to do, and the group was 'beamed up' in a second, off to the next destination.

If you could battle gyms out of order, honestly Ajicka might have challenged the gym then. It would be something to do, while Torchic, and maybe Deoxys (she could drag his a** down, probably), looked for some eggs. Frowning, she decided to put checking off till later. And it definitely wasn't because she had Sableye's taunting remarks of her being 'lonely' still floating around her head. Because she wasn't. She was just... running out of things to do, was all. But she still had plenty of things to do, so even that, totally wasn't a problem. Or... like anything. Right. By now, her pokemon were already looking, and Joltik had even left her shoulder. She shifted a little while she walked as she realized this. Had she been staring off, in thought, for that long? Or were they just impatient? Geez, was she getting so old she was just staring off in space and losing track of the time? She wasn't even twenty yet! Maybe all the seriousness and lack of laughing had made her age quicker or something, though. She lifted her gaze up, trying to ignore the nagging notion that this might be repaired a bit by actually socializing. That really, really wasn't her thing, though....

Besides, she had enough to do that she really didn't have time for that. Unless someone was going the same direction as her and could actually keep up, she simply couldn't slow down for that. Though she also sort of wondered what.... what was his name? Josh? Something like that... She'd encountered him a few times, including back in the tunnel, where they'd both made their way out. Isis, Zero... she'd met them, too. Criminy, why was she being so nostalgic? This was stupid. She quickly distracted herself when she found an egg, and, trying not to let her mind think at all, rounded up her pokemon, and headed on. They were finally done with Johto-- time for Hoenn.

This was it. The eighth and final gym badge for the Johto region. It would’ve been far more exhilarating a thought if well… Sebastian wasn’t still agitated. Really, he needed to get over it and get his head in the game. There’d be no time for moping when he took on Claire but it was just… hard. Really hard. Why was it so hard? He didn’t know but he rubbed his face with his palm and took a deep breath. Bluff chirped from his bag to try and give him a little pep talk, which earned her a slight smile. He was rather grateful for her support, even though she probably didn’t understand at all how he was feeling. No matter, it was on to the next gym, whether he was happy or not. The sooner he got this done, he was certain the better he would feel.

Another quick round of preparations was in order first and Sebastian once again headed his way for the mart. He was certain he wouldn’t need to worry about portions at this point having stocked up last time and used none of them the second time around, but he did want to check for potential items he could use. There didn’t seem to be a wide array offered though he did find a TM or two that he thought might be useful. Making the purchase he stepped outside and arranged his team a little, once more swapping out items on Gin and using the TM he’d acquired on Naps surprisingly. A fire type learning a rock move… you learned something new every day. Once that was all settled he headed off in the direction of the gym. It was now or never to be honest.
