He had a pretty difficult time actually getting to the gate that would bring him towards Santalune. The problem with Luminose is that there was like eight gates and they all looked the same. He would eventually find his way out but he hated this feeling of being lost. Standing, looking up at a gate as the neon signs scrolled past, he had no idea which routes led where in Kalos. He knew of the cities in Kalos because he had heard a lot about them from Iwaizumi and from others during his journey and childhood. He sighed as he hoped that he would find his way out of this labyrinth of a city before long.

He hadn’t been on this journey very long but he was more than happy to be on it. It was unlike the rest of his life in such a way that he cherished every moment, whether lost in Lumonise or defeating Bugsy all of these things had their own value to him. Toru was confident in his skill, he grew more confident in his team with every victory and he was reaching ever higher. He saw the Elite Four with a little more clarity with each major victory. He would be a champion, there was no question about that, the only unknown was just how long it would take him to make that dream happen. He would continue to battle through every gym along the way, he wasn’t going to let any of the other prodigal trainers overtake him, and he would meet others along the way who would no doubt challenge him. As he left Luminose city to gather yet another badge he was eager to see what the next leg of his journey would bring.

Back in the labyrinth of Luminose he wanted to make his way to get both a Kalos map, and a Luminose city map while he was at it. He enjoyed the aesthetics of Kalos but he really didn’t care for the complex cities. Santalune was nice and simple, Johto, nice and simple. After picking up a Kalos map from a local Pokemart he realized that Cyllage was pretty easy to get through, had to head through Camphrier and then he would pretty much be there. He wanted to hurry through these early badges in Kalos, Johto was his goal and he didn't want to spend too much time keeping with the other trainers he saw as rivals or he would never be able to finish his own quest. Walking into South Lumiose, Theo stretched before looking around. South Lumiose had a lot of Pokémon that wanted to catch. It would also help him train. But, maybe he should set a limit this time. He'd go through the local Pokémon and choose three or four he wanted to catch, and then he'd he organized. It took a long time to catch all of Santalune City's. But, first! Theo got into his bag and pulled out the HM for Cut and TM for Infestation. Kneeling, he showed Olivia the training video for Cut before upgrading her moveset and moving on to Shay, showing him Infestations video. Both of them were naturals with the moves. It was great! And, logical, he supposed. Unfortunately, he could only use the TM once before with was wiped of the content. Theo always wondered how that worked.

After a few minutes, Maiku's headache subsided and the only voices in his head were his own and the ones that belonged to Furea and Yuki. But, he kept his headphones on and music playing regardless. It wasn't until Furea pawed at his sleeve that he took off the headphones. "Hm? What's wrong, Furea?" "That weird blond boy. He's looking at us and saying something about Yuki and a Dominick." Someone was talking about Yuki? Maiku looked down at the albino Taillow. "Do you know anyone named Dominick, Yuki?" "Not that I know of." Could he be a poacher? Maiku looked back at the teen, noticing he had a Butterfree sleeping on his head and a Braixen next to him. No, he wasn't a poacher. He was a trainer. Maybe Dominick was one of his Pokémon? Either way, it was suspicious and he held Yuki close to keep her safe.
