Listened to her say she could make it there on her own which he had no doubt about but his mention entailed him to take her to Kumo."I'm sure you can handle it Ms Bast, but my Mission says to escort you to the village, Though I am merely a clone I shall have the original meet you at the crossroads and have a clone go ahead to the village."

Bast sighed, not too thrilled about the idea of having an escort everywhere.
"Alright, but I have to change out of this Yukata before leaving. It's not good working attire," she explained as a set of clean clothes appeared in her hands.
Demetri nodded. "Okay then I will be waiting at the world crossworlds." He said to her giving her a little room and space she she could finish up what she needed to do. The clone then dispersed sending back all the info he collected.

Bast sighed again and poked her head into the hall. When she was certain that she had no more incoming visitors, she hastily changed and traded her festival clothes for her armaments. Once more cloaked and weighted down by her weapons, armor and gourds, she grabbed her stuff and disappeared from the village, Mononoke and Poryo in tow.
Matsu made it through the village, taking small samples here and there, not wanting to fully whet his appetite until he could sit down and truly enjoy a meal. The village's Main Court sat at the center of the other two courts and seemed to have the most shops and restaurants. There were plenty of tourists buying up useless souvenirs and the classy wealth of the people was being flaunted by expensive suits and dresses. They all seemed to flock to a small set of restaurants, fancy and surely requiring reservations. Curious to see just how much it took to take part of such a heightened class of people, Matsu walked up to the man standing behind podium just at the entrance of the restaurant. He looked Matsu over with a clear look of distaste but Matsu smiled, finding it amusing. "How many?" The man asked clearly looking like a man having to do a chore. "Actually, I wanted to know how much is an entree?" Matsu asked smoothly. The man glanced at the Yukigakure symbol on his headband and sighed. "You and any ninja here tonight eats and sleeps for free. Compliments of the city council." The man recited in an exhausted manner. Hearing this Matsu's heart sang, or stomach. He was seated and brought a menu. Matsu took much time choosing carefully, wanting his one meal to be exceptional since it would likely be his last for that night.
After dining, Matsu walked out of the restaurant, looking for a place to lay his head. He, of course would not be so quick to sleep. The hype of the festival was too high and no street seemed to be ever abandoned even in the late hours of the night. He found a large hotel, brimming with the wealthy lounging inside the lobby at the bars and sofas. Matsu headed to the counter where one booked a room and proceeded to ask for a decent room. He was quickly given a key to the room along with the room number. Matsu was excited to see the room for himself and went by elevator to the thirteenth floor to where his room was located. He used the key to get inside his room. The suite was equipped with two large flat screen televisions, one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. The suite also had it's own kitchen, walk-in closet and a large bathroom with a round bathtub. Matsu grinned as he locked the door and threw himself onto the bed. He reached for the remote controller for the television and turned it on. There were the normal local channels. A game show was on, the news, re-runs of a good show, several movie channels and the village's personal channel. On it, a cute anchor was announcing results of the current exams and giving details about several of the matches. This interested Matsu. Man, I should have entered. Look at all these strong looking shinobi!

James walked up to a corn dog stall and ordered a corn dog while he looked around at all of the other foods. "Come on Doc. Lets grab some munchies and hit the road!"

Doc followed behind James as they walked up to a corn dog stall. "I also want to get some fruit as well. If that's fine James?" Doc ordered a corn dog as well.

Doc nodded back at James. He then ran off to a fruit stall and grabbed some apples. Doc came back to the corn dog stall and took the corn dog that he ordered. Doc ran away again to another stall. Doc came back to James with two drinks in his hands this time. "Do you want one James?" Doc asked. "I am ready now James. We can head out now." Doc said with a smile on his face.
James smiled and took a drink,"Thanks buddy, come on lets head back home and feel the desert wind again."
He headed of towards the gate munching away on his food.

Chaos isn’t a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, they cling to the realm or the gods or love. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.

Knives decided that in order to pass the time he was going to finish up the skull project he had been working on. He might find some time to play with chakra too, had to pass the time somehow. He pulled out the now cleaned and well bone colored skulls. Knives sat down and looked them over separating them out and deciding what to do with each one. While he thought it over he began to practice his chakra once again.
'Fine, you want to live fine, here have some of my chakra and play with that!'[/red]
Knives began to put his chakra in his hand and held it there as long as he possibly could before transferring it over to his other hand. He felt the chakra flow through him and he did his best not to interrupt it, not look too suspicious because come on this guy had like 6 skulls in front of him right now. He practiced until he decided that he would try to put the chakra in his knife and practice is samurai sabre technique and suddenly his hair turned blonde and grew at least three feet in height his knife was about a foot longer than when he started and just as sharp. He didn't want to ruin the edge on these things after all.
He took out his first skull and carefully began to pry out the molars from the back of the mouth of the first skull. He took out the other teeth as well and put them aside and into a small pouch for later, right now he wanted the canines and the molars. Once he had finished with the first skull, he took his time to look over the teeth and decided that it was not good enough. He took his chakra and honed it down a bit on the blades to be a thinner blade point as he took out the teeth from the next skull and was satisfied a lot more this time. He continued to pull the teeth out until he had enough to make a necklace out of them for himself.
Knives took a moment to calm himself and put the chakra into his one finger and thought about what might be able to be done if he used Fire Chakra into it perhaps that could be worth looking into once he returned to his village. It could be a very useful thing to do.
Knives took his chakra and moved it around his blades to increase them by a larger amount and to make the chakra finer and even sharper than before. Once he was satisfied he took the time to carefully cut through the tops of the skulls as one might to get brain swelling to go down. However, in these skulls the eyes and brains had already disappeared, somehow that had happened but knives did not look into how or even why.
Taking up Bast's advice he used the chakra to cut off the tops of the skulls to make the first two into small flower pots, all they needed was some dirt and a flower. He took the kill that he had made and began to work on it until it was a good drinking cup for himself. The other kills he took the time to whittle out and make into cups as well, dark and strange but he enjoyed them none the less. That left one skull left and this was to be a cup for San, his teacher. He took his time to make sure that it was cut and sealed up just right so it would not leak at all, he had a dark sense of humor about himself but he got a good laugh out of it.
Once he had finished he released his chakra from his blade allowing the blade to appear normal again. He felt a little winded but not too much. He inspected his work with a smile before putting the teeth on a small wire string and then putting it around his neck. It was to remind him that those who were after him would meet defeat against him.
