Alright, he was being stubborn... She could take care of that...
Ebony gave a low growl and twisted her head around and snagged him by the back of his pants and leaped from the side of the mountain, flying him swiftly up to the landing path and simply dropping him on his belly on the ground as she shifted to her human form and moved over to check on the roast and broth.
"There she is. Now if you really want to climb the mountain, you can take the stairs over there right to the bottom and do it all over again. Or you can stop arguing with me and check on her wounds. I think she just needs some healing tea in her for now, but one can't be too certain with her shifting around like that...," she told him firmly but also sounding as if she could care less what his decision was.
Layla lay shifting just a tiny bit on one of the massive cushions near the warmer that held the teapot filled with the soothing tea. Her middle was bandaged heavily, three more linen bandages lightly covered three claw marks down one side of her face, and colorful bruises were coming up over her neck, back and what of her belly that wasn't bandaged. She was missing her leg brace as well, her bad leg showing some swelling.
Her tanned skin was almost deathly pale and she was obviously in alot of pain at the moment, proven by her restlessness...

Borias hated dragons now. It was their way or no way. Sarcastic asses. Then they couldn't leave well enough alone.
He glared at her back before he went over to Layla and looked her over solemly. Zuko had done quite a number on her. He wished she hadn't left....wished he had run after her immediately instead of crying like a baby to his son. If he had, this wouldn't have happened.
Borias took one of her hands and held it hoping she would calm down some if she knew a comforting and familiar hand.

In her dreams, Layla was seeing Zuko standing over her telling her he'd torture and kill Borias and Galen before he killed her and she whimpered again, "Borias... Run... Don't let him get Galen...," she murmured in her sleep, unable to find the breath for more.
Part of her only knew the pain of her injuries while part of her held onto Borias' hand tightly.
Ebony brought over a bowl of the venison broth and a spoon as well as a cup of her healing tea and set both beside him, "I've got hatchlings to feed, I think you can take care of her for now," she told him simply before she shifted to her dragon form and moved over the safety wall into the nursery where the hatchlings were making hungry whimpers, all six of them.
She pulled over the deer she'd brought into the room earlier and used a claw to slit it open for them, watching over them to make sure that they didn't hurt themselves in their hunger...

Borias took great care in making sure Layla was in comfortable position to where she would not choke, he slowly spoon fed her some tea and then broth.
He ignored her sleep murmurs as there was nothing he could do about those.

Layla calmed down while Borias fed her and eventually woke with a pained groan, already trying to sit up as she looked around. She didn't know where she was or how she'd gotten her, having to breathe slowly through her pain.
Until she saw Borias at her side, then she froze, even holding her breath for a moment as she caught sight of him. She reached a shaky hand up as if she'd touch his face but stopped when she remembered Zuko's words in the forest before he'd tried to kill her.
Her hand slowly fell to her side and she slowly let out her breath, her other hand resting over her belly where she'd been stabbed with her own bow, "I know you're mad at me, Borias... That you probably hate me right now...," she said softly, her voice almost not even there since she felt like she couldn't get enough air to be able to speak properly.

Stuff happens on Draconia
It was then that Maris returned to the cave,
"I made it to the shore and found another boat, so I assumed horse-boy had made it here."
She looked at the centaur, who was at the elf's side, and laughed. She shook her head, propping her rifle against the cavern wall before crossing to get a helping of venison roast. Taking a bite, she turned back to the centaur.
"So now you want to care for her? That zombie tore her up pretty good. You know, when she was by herself. Alone. Without her so-called husband."
Before the centaur could respond, Zuko teleported into the cavern, beside Layla's sleeping form, the table separating him from the centaur. He laughed, grabbing the unconscious elf.
"Rise and shine, Layla! We have a busy day ahead of us!"
Maris dropped her food, drawing her revolver pistol and unloading into Zuko, five out of the six shots striking him in the shoulder and chest. Angrily, the undead elf glared at the pale human,
"You, I will kill, but after I am finished with her."
Before Maris could reload or Borias could react, Zuko teleported out of the cavern, taking Layla with him.
In the underwater cavern, Geth relaxed in the water, his head resting on the shore of the smaller rock platform near the alcove. Then he saw something very strange, and he raised his head to look closely at Sasha; her wings began to repair, the bones mending and fitting back into place along with the membranes piecing themselves together slowly.
"By the gods, that was amazing!"

Layla managed to get a weak scream out before she was taken, both from fear and pain as her nightmare took her away...
Sasha frowned at Geth for a moment then turned to look where he was looking when she felt her wings tingling a bit, the sight of them healing before her eyes making her gasp in amazement.
Soon, she was even able to simply shake the bindings and splints off and spread her beautiful white wings wide, looking at them and shaking her head slightly at them, "I don't believe it... I've got to be dreaming...," she said softly before turning her head to look at Geth, her shock plain to see.

An underwater cavern
"Come! Let us see how well you fly."
Geth took off in the water, moving quickly towards the exit. He couldn't help but wonder what it was about the crystal that healed her wings, but he knew it had to have been the crystal; there was no other explanation for the miracle...

Sasha dove into the water after him, actually managing to beat him to the hidden entrance. She moved through the water like greased lightening and move straight up out of the water spreading her wings and giving a strong downstroke that sent her into the air.
She moved higher and higher then actually turned up on her tail, tilting her wings so that she actually spun around in mid air before turning her head down and turning her fall into a dive as she moved right over Geth and back up into the air with a draconic cry.
One had to wonder how her mate had actually managed to catch her in the air to mate her with the way she flew...

Taking flight
Geth laughed as he took flight after Sasha, hovering in place as he watched her fly. She was healed now, back to her former glory- her fears of being a burden lifted.
"I take it you're happy, then?"
He laughed, speeding after her, easily overtaking her with his larger and more powerful wings.
"Now, how about that Dinner?"

Sasha gave a laugh and actually rolled over in the air, "Yes, I'm happy! I love to fly!" she told him as she did a long backwards roll and came up under him, actually managing to glide upside down as she looked up at him, "I need a place to cook a meal before I can make you dinner...," she told him before she rolled back over and shot out ahead of him.
She turned on her wingtip to move around him when he caught up to her, literally flying circles around him, "Any ideas on that one?" she asked him in a happy tone as she simply enjoyed flying for the moment.

Dragons fly, touch the sky!
Geth thought for a moment.
"Where would be a good place to cook? Remember, I'm new to the island."
He looked around, searching the island. He knew next to nothing about these islands, and he looked to Sasha.
"I would suggest my new cave... But there isn't much for ventilation down there."

Sasha did another twist in the air that should have been impossible but answered him anyway, "Well... I could always use the kitchen at Sebastet's castle," she suggested to him and gestured with a claw to the other island with the castle on the highest set of cliffs.

Dragons flying about, nothing to see here.
"Very well, let us go. My belly aches for food."
Geth took off in the direction of the castle, and eventually it became a race between the two. At first, Geth was able to take the lead because his wings were stronger than the smaller dragon's... but he let her take the lead because he didn't know where to land on the castle...
