Every summer I go to Scotland. Now half of you may be thinking: "Scotland? Where the hell is that? Is it a Third world country?" Well, I'll leave a convienant illistration to try to help you: Figure it out yet? *le gasp* No? Its in the UK (Great Britain) ya t**t! Now you may be wondering, why not just go out and say the UK? Because, im patriotic and it makes my Grandpa proud. If you can figure out Ireland why cant you figure out Scotland? We frickin drinking buddies for gods sake. The end. We are a very Industrous country. Sorry if you know this but I know so many people who dont.

P.S. We are the ones with the man skirts, aka kilts, as well as we are just as good drinkers as the Irish, we have the Loch Ness monster, the movie Braveheart was about the fight for Scottish freedom, we have Billy Connely who was the old Scottish guy who died in the Last Samarui as well as being a famous comedian, and finally we have the third best medical university in the UK. mad

i can't wait to visit scotland and ireland. my ancestors were sent from ireland (hehe they were caught running a bordello and as punishment had to choose to go to america or australia, so they wound up in south carolina lol) about 150 years ago. so i'm excited to be visiting, and of course plan on going to scotland too. i've read about the famous scottish hospitality, plus i'm a huge history buff and scotland will be fascinating to explore.

He he. Thats kinda funny cause I was watching a documenary about that. And I live in South Carolina during the bulk of the year and live in Scotland during my two months of summer break.

My mother's ancestors were Scottish, which is why I'm so fascinated with Scotland. I love the accents and stuff, and I love Scottish music, as well. My uncle, Bill Thurman, has a whole collection of CDs of Celtic music which he recorded with some of his friends. They include a few original compositions and some pretty old songs like "Dandelion Wine," "Star of the County Down," "Hell Creek," and a few other things that aren't Celtic but feature country fiddle.
