LMAO this thread is funny!
I'll get technical here and put it out there that Nine Inch Nails is not Reznor's "band" -- it's Reznor.
Considering the growing popularity of Nine Inch Nails over the past few years for some reason, I'm horrified at the tracks you kids are listening to these days! The only real classic that's been mentioned so far is "March of the Pigs".
The best few Nine Inch Nails songs, if you want to get into NIN, include
~"Ringfinger" ~"Eraser" ~"Big Man with a Gun" ~"Deep" ~"Happiness in Slavery" ~"We're in This Together" ~"The Great Below"
and that will give you a taste of everything good Reznor did under the name Nine Inch Nails.

I was introduced to NIN about 5 years ago by a buddy of mine who said "hey, check this song out". He sent me March of the Pigs, a song which I would listen to many a boring afternoon in class (not to mention late nights at home). He lent me The Downward Spiral which I played nonstop to the disdane of my mother, she really disliked that her son was listening to a man who said "your god is dead, and no one cares, if there is a hell, I'll see you there". I found the album at Wal-Mart one day when I happened to have a pocket full of money, so I picked it up.
March of the Pigs Hersey Big Man With a Gun Ruiner
Those are among my favorites by Reznor. Not only that, but in grade 9 art (two years ago) we had to paint our favorite musical artist, I picked Trent and did a damn good job. But I digress.
