My friend went out with this guy who was really cute. I kept my distance from him because he was taken and he was one of my friends. Now that they broke up he barely talks to me anymore and now I want to ask him out but it feels like he's still her territory. She said that he was cheating on her with some other girl. It feels like he was flirting with me. I don't want to lose my friendship with her but then again I want to ask him out. Should I ask him or back off?!

I say you talk to your friend about this before you ask him. Not to ask her permission, but to tell her you want to be her friend no matter what etc. etc etc. 3nodding

evrything said above is true. specially what kit13 said. believe that one, bcs i have this friend who supposedly broke up with his gf but she's still ALL OVER HIM, so obviously he hasn't hooked up with anyone yet, obviously still not safe. so..yeah, u should talk to ur friend, like dominique devlin said; it's not abotu asking for permission, it's just making sure she's aware u don't mean to hurt her in any way.

sometimes goingout with a friends ex isnt okay with you friend.
you just gonna have to talk to her first
and then see whats up.
