I like to visit the occasional shop. My favorites are the ones with a relaxing environment where you can just curl up with a laptop and do some work. Which is your favorite and why?

I like the stand in my university library because 1) they have drip coffee, which is still the same good stuff, just cheaper 2) it's quiet 3) close to study areas 4) I like that libraries whore themselves by selling liquids that could contaminate the books to make money (which makes me somewhat hypocritical as I LOVE books like a religion)

Im actually posting from my favorite coffee house right now, Frappe house. I prefer the smaller coffee houses that are not part of a huge chain (aka Starbucks). The coffee tastes better, is often cheaper, and you get to know the people who work there.

*poke*
I poke yay caffiene as she is sitting right next to me. BWHAHAHAHA!
eh . . . I just had 4 shots of espresso. Ignore me.
Anyhow, I have 2 cafes I like going to. Well, the one I half like going to as it is also the place I call Hell, since I work there. It's a local cafe, big Oak Cafe with crappy management, but I know how the machines work and I've gota load of friends that work there, so it's fun there to bug them. Plus the espresso is perfect for me. Frickin' strong. WHEEE!!!
The other place is as yay caffiene said, the Frappe House. I go there after work, anytime the place is closed or just anytime I want to (especially as I don't have to worry about them asking me to work or something) AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Plus they have what I like to call, the candy lattes. Frickin sweet!!! It's like liquified coffee candy. Yum!!!
Yes, if there is good espresso and wifi, I am happy.

My favorite spot was iside a Barns and Noble in near my old home. I just love the smell of fresh brewed coffee first thing in the morning. rofl 3nodding PLus they had all the current books like within a weeks of them being released into market. So I would spend all morning and most of the afternoon just reading their books... without buying much...

Tim Hortons... because I'm Canadian. whee
I love the coffee there, but the atmosphere isn't the best. When I want/need a more relaxing place, I go to the Mocha Bean Cafe 3nodding

I like the coffee shop inside my university's library because, well, it's inside the library and nothing could be more perfect than that. xd I also have to give props to the good old coffee vending machine, I enjoy that coffee far better than those in most coffee shops...for some odd reason.

I remember the olden days, when me and my family used to hang out at the local park, then we used to go to a calm little coffee shop in front of the park, and we had some tasty cappuccinos flavored with something like honey, vanilla, or an awesome sweet paste you can find here in Mexico, made with goat milk, called cajeta. Then we stayed in a little bench until sunset. whee
I also like the coffee shop at my school's library. It's a calm, relaxed place where I can help my friend with math every time he needs to pass a test. mrgreen

I'm so depressed. My favorite coffee shop closed and the only decent alternative would be starbucks(evil). I have my own expresso maker and can whip up some pretty good coffee so I guess my place is now the newest coffee shop. Yes, I have wireless and if you ask me to make decaff I will be forced to hurt you.
