They're pretty good. They seem to be the ONLY visual Kei band that a lot of people know though. My favorite song by them is The Dead Tree

I think my fave song is New Age Culture... The bridge is sooo catchy.

Oh baby, Dir en Grey! Probably one of my favorite Japanese bands.
I like their new stuff and their older stuff, though Kyo seems to scream more in the new songs. There's nothing wrong with that!
I probably like Mushi, Jessica, Obscure, The Dead Tree, Umbrella, and Japanese the most.
The only time I've gotten to see them live was at the Family Values Tour, though. And by the time I got there they were on their 2nd to last song! I was so upset that I missed their show on the tour!!!

Their new stuff is a lot more hard-core metal-ish than their older stuff.
I still like their music nonetheless.
My favs are Kodou, The Final, Kasumi, and Ryoujoku no ame.

Dir en grey is amazing and live there the s**t, coming to America hasn't ruined them there still great and now the fans over here get to see them

I like how they've changed over the years, it makes them more interesting.
Although I do prefer their older songs. :]
