I just got a gig doing Tails's voice for a flash animation, and I need to know more about Tails's character and I'd also like for some samples of how he's been voiced in the past. Could anybody help me out?

Well it's change through the games. The best one I think was Sonic heros where it was like a sketchy kids voice.
Other than that I would rent these games to get some other samples:
Sonic adventure DS - Gamecube
Sonic adventure 2: Battle - Gamecube
Sonic Riders - Gamecube, PS2, Xbox
Sonic X series

Tails is an 8 year old two tailed fox. He is a mechanical genius and his past creations include the tornado, the X tornado and the blue typhoon.
He always follows his hero sonic and is learning how to be independant and not always relying on Sonic. He is also sometimes a little naive.
