This is an On the Spot poem so I wrote this poem just right now XD
The Sorrow Of The Wilting Tree
In the distance you will see
sitting up along the narrow streets.
A tree once young so full of glee,
slowly sees her end and meets
meet the skies far above her.
Her branches reaches for the sky and gently graze
the passing wind that flies freely up so high.
Nothing more the tree would wish to be again to escape this endless
maze.
This tree filled with bright colors and full of breath only sighs.
It ends here tonight as she watches the town from far above.
Nothing can help end her pain and sorrow.
As for the town she sees it aging, her once adored love.
For the town she acted as a guardian and no longer shall see the town
tomorrow
For she shall whither away in the darkest of corners for the clouds roll
into the sky and cover her the warmth of the sunlight.
Providing shade for the children and the memories that she kept to her
soul
Now her life slowly drains away and she no longer see the bright
gleaming eyes of the many youth that has passed by.
No longer shall she stand so tall as the time has come of age.
No magic, nor love can bring this tree that has fallen ill to her cry
and no longer shall she stand so tall, but a glimpse in a page.
She turns to hear the rumbling of odd machines, she knew it was death.
For she no longer stands above the hill and gone, but only a mere breath
in the mouth of the old who was remembered her.
She now lies deep and covered by black ink forever a blur.
