Nope, it's definitely the trumpets. There's like loads of pitches out there and only 3 valves.

no piccolos are the best!! they are the most annoying when played right!
except for oboe.... when the mouthpiece has been buzzing in your ear for ten minutes. oh, and when you use a bagpipe reed for jazz band... ....long story. i don't play oboe.
except when it's played right, it makes me sleepy gonk
my flute is named Johnny after Johnny Depp/John Lennon.
my piccolo is named Squeaker. i was going to call it Ringo, but Ringo is a Drummer. xp

The flutes don't pwn at all. they're just sweet and awesomeful.
The ones who pwn are the piccolo and the oboe. They both can sound really beautiful but they can also be extremely annoying, while other instruments only sound bad or annoying if the person playing them is not good...
Piccolo and oboe are annoying without trying. And others have to try. unless thats all they can do. That is why we pwn!
I play flute and piccolo [in band]. my flute's name is Johnny, and my piccolo's called Squeaker. heart
I can't wait for band camp. Then i will get to hang out with the freshmens who graduated last year. gosh i miss them. *sighs*

Shockingly I have wanted to play Piccolo and Oboe. xd Atleast I'm not the only one who names my intruments. My old Flute's name was Stella, she was an Armstrong, now I've switched to a Jupiter DeMici (sp?) I call her Luna. She is Stella's daughter. xd

I dunno, trombones are pretty cool. People have come up to me before and asked if they could move my slide around while I played. Glissandos are sweet.
There are three trombones in my house: Larry, Peabody, and The Dude.
